I read a few reviews and I can honestly say I had reservations, but they were completely unfounded this restaurant is an absolute Gem, very rarely does a restaurant get everything right. The staff, service food atmosphere and whole environment was a pleasure to experience. I could go on but I know you won't read it but if previous customers have had issues they have definitely addressed them and stepped it. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Me and my boyfriend love this place! My boyfriend knows his steaks very well and agrees this is one of his best! I always get the fillet and he gets the chateaubriand, they both melt in your mouth and taste amazing😍 the mash was also very creamy and fluffy 😁 the service was amazing and so very friendly and made us feel welcome😁 will deffo be coming back again and again! ❤️

Overpriced, bland food. Not impressed.

This was my second visit here and was not disappointed.. Went for the large share selection for 2 and obviously with a few beers or more and extras the bill was high, but was well cooked and good quality throughout.

The choice of steaks is great and they have a description of each type of steak on the wall, so it’s much easier to make a decision. I got the sirloin and my husband lomo steak. Both were AMAZING!! I highly recommend getting the chimichurri sauce on the side. We were very impressed by the food, service and atmosphere.

We were disappointed in our meal. In general service and food quality was not up to standard. We waited far too long to order and had to signal staff throughout to come and take orders etc. I was handed the drinks menu without any other information and when I tired to order a bottle of wine I was told it was out of stock and then the 2nd bottle I tried to order was also out of stock but they has the 3rd option I settled for. We ordered Padron peppers and chorizo to start which were nice, For main my wife ordered sirloin and I ordered rump both to be cooked medium are. Her steak was cooked nice but mine was blue which wasn't a major issue except for the fact that after 2 minutes it was swimming in blood so it clearly hadn't been rested enough which was a shame. Along side the steaks I'd ordered peppercorn sauce which was completely tasteless so we had to send it back. For desert we ordered the churro's to share and they came a short time later but I wish they hadn't as they were not cooked enough and still very doughy so we didn't finish them. Overall a disappointing meal for the money spent.

Divine dinner for a birthday celebration. Delicious food and attentive service. Mid week birthday dinner for 8 people. Steaks were cooked to perfection. First time we have dined in this restaurant and very happy with our experience. Would definitely return.

Beautiful place, excellent service .We paid £37 for the only bottle of wine on the menu. All the others were fake. But £37 for a bottle of wine with a screw cap. Paid £270 in total but portions too small for the price paid.The guy who served us was exceptional.

Waiter was nice and kind… ambiance is lovely and decor But the food is salty and not worth the price.

We usually visit the branch in Reading but thought for a change, we’d try Walton instead. This restaurant felt a lot more spacious than Reading. The steak was great as always. I had the rib eye whilst my husband had the filet. Both were cooked just how we liked. We also had the spatchcock chicken, which was cooked well, not dry and very flavoursome! We had the Dulce leche cheesecake to share- which we have had before- but the consistency felt quite different this time. The texture felt like a stiff, foamy panacotta than a smooth cheesecake. Other than that we had a lovely meal & would highly recommend. Great service & staff.

Amazing restaurant, fantastic food and lovely staff, can't ask much more than that from a place. I've been here time and time and again, and have never been disappointed.

As a pescatarian I rarely go to steak restaurants as they rarely cater for veggie or fish options and smell really meaty!! However after my visit to Buenasado on Saturday night I was shocked with all the fish and veggie options they had and the care they took to answer all our questions! Also it does not smell meaty in there at all! Our waiter Daniel was so extremely attentive and from the outset he asked about allergies and made me aware of the may contains for my nut allergy overall the Food and service was amazing - 5 stars all they way 🤗

Firstly, whilst I’m critical of the service, this wasn’t the fault of the individual FoH staff - they were pleasant and as professional as they could be in the circumstances (though their frustration was obvious!). The problem was that, whether by accident or design, they were so absurdly short-staffed! This may be excusable (or at least understandable) in the local pub, but not when you’re paying £200 for a family meal for four! Somewhat surprisingly given the issues in FoH, the main dishes were excellent (as they have always been in the past), but our mistake was ordering deserts. Besides the slow service, the deserts are the worst sort of bought-in, catering fodder marked-up by an eye-watering percentage. All deserts are £10 (inc. service charge), but the cost price couldn’t have been more than 50p. Honestly, paying £40 for this quality of food really grates - stick with the Steaks (great), but don’t bother with deserts.

Last minute change of plan but we had high hopes, The fact that at 8pm on a Saturday evening the place was almost empty should have given us a clue but we went in regardless, lets start with the good bit service was great no complaints friendly and efficient in fact pretty much perfect therefore was a great shame the food did not live up to the welcome Steaks were ordered medium rare they came medium well and had not seen even a sprinkling of seasoning Chips were chunky as expected but cold Chicken Milenasa claimed to be crispy coated but was bland and limp Potatoes that were ordered by my wife were cold and the portions would not have been out of place on a children’s menu they even have the nerve to charge for a little bowl of sauce Completely disappointing meal totally overpriced actually I was embarrassed to have suggested this place and will not be returning

Perfect from start to finish the service was great the food was great and the atmosphere was perfect will visit again in the near future

Very good food and lovely service. The steaks are really good, sensible prices and you can have a nice time both as a couple or a large group. Don't leave without trying the Dulce de leche cheesecake 😉

Unfortunately my experience with this steakhouse wasn’t as good as I expected. Steak was average and served ok with no sauce . Fries were good and the place itself was clean and quiet.

Best steak I've had in such a long time. Their cocktails aren't bad either. Good job guys. See you again soon.

A surprisingly spacious and comfortable venue with very enjoyable food, created by what was clearly a talented Chef, who ultimately cooked my desired meal to perfection. Unfortunately, the standard of "Front of House" did not mirror the excellence in the kitchen. In particular, the Restaurant Manger/Maitre D' - or however he styled himself - soured the evening utterly. Much as I love meat dishes, I have a total abhorrence of bloodied, red and pink meats and will always ask for my steak to be "well done". A personal foible but, if I'm paying, then it will be cooked my way. The episode began with the waiter taking the order and suggesting I have my meat cooked medium or medium-rare. I refused. We went through the malarkey at least once more and I explained. He scuttled off. Shortly thereafter, the Restaurant Manager popped up at the table and the discussion about the cooking of my steak began again, only this time in a voice so loud as to make people from other tables look over, his bullying onslaught reaching the point where I felt completely humiliated but unwilling to budge over how I want my food cooked. He was absolutely insistent that I could not have the steak well done. It was like being harangued by Walton's answer to Pol Pot, ramming his so-called "professional expertise" down my throat with a shovel. My partner intervened, gave him a blunt delivery, told him to drop it and do as I asked. After attempting to argue with my partner (an ex-Chef himself) further on the matter he finally walked away having caused me extreme embarrassment, made a spectacle of himself, offered no apology and attempted to impose his will on his paying guests - those self-same guests who keep him in employment Not acceptable. Would I recommend? The food absolutely "yes". The bumptious little dictator on Reception? Absolutely not.

Food and service by Daniel were both exquisite! Also recommend “his” wine. He will know what you’re talking about if you ask for Daniel’s wine (it’s a fantastic Malbec)

When we walked in we got the impression it was an average chain style steak house. What changed our minds completely from the moment we were greeted were all the team (and then the food!). The staff were so welcoming and we're so passionate about what they offered on their menu. We ordered all the recommendations we were given and we're not disappointed. Absolutely delicious and we were taken care of so well. We will be back.

Food was excellent - perfect cuts of steak, cooked to perfection. Service was perfect - attentive, accommodating, very professional. Good selection of wine, starters, deserts and cocktails. Best steak house in the area.

Great location,in Walton and a lovely ambience. The staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend the chorizo Malbec starter. The highlight was the steak. 11oz sirloin cooked rare to perfection with their chimi churri sauce…..on the money I’m still thinking about it now!!

Had a birthday dinner with a friend, the service was good and they are quick to respond to clients. The food was great too.

Calamari was amazing- very light! We had 2 8oz fillet steaks with fries and peppercorn and malbec sauce and creamed spinach (enough for 2) Glass of red wine recommended to us and cocktail- cannot fault this restaurant- from start to finish all staff couldnt do enough for us- food was amazing and could of cut with a spoon- absolutely perfect- cost 160 inc tip and limoncello beer- but so worth it if you want amazing food!

Very mediocre. Ordered a ribeye steak - the quality of the steak was pretty good and cooked to medium rare as specified, but it was very under seasoned and so were the chips. The peppercorn sauce that went with it also barely had any favour and the consistency was too runny. For a meal that costs around £40 per person, the quality of ingredients used were good but they were largely wasted by poor cookery. Service, on the other hand, was good - the waiters were friendly and quick.

Yet another lovely night at the Walton restaurant. Staff very friendly on arrival, and helpful. Food was once again excellent (fillets for us). I tried the beers this time, and found it very nice. This is one of our favourite eateries, and we’ve never been disappointed. Long May it stay like that

Slow service, forgot two side orders, only had a burger that was OK nothing special can't coment on the the steak. Won't be going again.

Very good steak house, service was good staff all very friendly and attentive. The steaks were cooked perfectly and quality of the meat was excellent, softest and most tasty bits of fillet I have had in a long time! All in all a very good experience all be it a little on the pricey side but worth the extra money for that epic steak 🥩👌🏻

If you're looking for a great place to eat in Walton on Thames, Buenasado is definitely one to check out! The atmosphere here is so nice, with a classy and modern feel. Everything looks neat and tidy, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. And let's talk about the food – it's delicious! Seriously, every dish is packed with flavor and looks amazing when it's served. Plus, they've got a fantastic menu with plenty of options to choose from. Oh, and don't forget about the red wine – they've got some really good choices that pair perfectly with the food. (p.s Try the beef empanadas, just delicious ) I just can't get enough of this place! But here's a tip: it gets pretty busy, especially in the evenings after 6 - 7 pm. So, make sure you book a table in advance to avoid missing out on this awesome dining experience at Buenasado! Trust me, you won't regret it!

Been struggling to find a good steak for a while and this place didn't disappoint. Absolutely incredible and the staff were very friendly.

Editing my review as most times I've visited it's been good but today is was absolutely dreadful. I spoke to the manager and she treated me like I was a pain in the backside, despite trying to give very respectful feedback on the experience. The food was below average, they took so so long to clear the tables and 20 minutes before we were due to leave they told me I need to hurry up with ordering dessert as they need the table for the next booking - it was my daughters 21st birthday and I felt like they couldn't wait to get our table of 7 out. I've been coming here for years but this has dropped way below the standards it used to have, which is a real shame. There are so many alternatives locally now that we can't ever go back here for a special occasion. There is no pride, no passion or sense of customer service in the Buenasado - look for somewhere else instead.

The menu is great but it's the service which really makes this place special.

This is a hidden gem for great steak. I'd say the food is on par with Gaucho, if not slightly better. We've been a few tines and have already planned on meeting friends for a family meal in 2024. Both times we've visited with two kids under 7.

WOW this is the second time I have visited here. The steak is absolutely phenomenal and so juicy and full of taste. The meat cooked to perfection. We washed it down with a bottle of Prosecco and followed by desert. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable over how to get the meat how we wanted it. We arrived early which wasn’t a problem. 10/10 will definitely visit here again. Sorry I didn’t take any photos the look and the smell of the food, I wasn’t going to waste any time to start eating it

Staff were fine but i felt the portion size was small based on what i was paying for my food. The decor was nice and area is well maintained. Just didnt hit the spot for me as i expected it to so i wont give a great score nor a bad one.

For the price it's about average... Does not have a very popular Argentine cut, rib of beef/prime rib aka Bife Ancho. Visited 3 times thus far and it's been much the same on each visit.

Visited for my wife's birthday with both grand-parents and our 9 and 6 year old boys. Very enjoyable and delicious meal at this Argentine steak and wine specialist restaurant. Our waiters were really lovely as well - personable and delightful. Hope to return soon.

Started with miserable staff unwelcoming , then the wrong drink , staff did apologise after telling me what I had ordered. Calamari arrived chewy inedible, prawns swimming in butter. Truly awful experience again ...... tried it a while ago and was terrible so thought we would try again . NEVER EVER AGAIN. appalling. Took off charge for Calamari but seriously!!!!! Went in five Guys for a burger instead. Didn't have main as never asked so cannot comment on the steak.

Booked a table for 4 in advance for 7pm for my son's birthday. We were running late and I rang during the afternoon to see if we could come a bit later. The manager phoned me back and was able to move us to 8:15. When we arrived the service was prompt and friendly. The food was amazing. What was very special was how all of the staff, particularly the manager, made our experience so special. We felt that we were the only ones in the restaurant.

We are both foodies & were looking forward to trying this restaurant. Staff were welcoming & there is no doubt the quality of the steaks is excellent. When asked if everything was ok I mentioned that both sides were cold as well as the plates the steak was on. The waitress did say she could get her supervisor which wasn't necessary, it was just feedback for the kitchen. For each of the sides ( 3 half grilled tomatoes & 4 grilled portobello mushrooms), they were £5.50 each which I think is too expensive for reasonably cheap ingredients. I also think the cost of the sauce should be included in the price of the steak instead of paying £2.95 for a small pot. The tables were also sticky when we sat down, an easy one to address. Sadly I'm afraid we won't be returning.

Honestly if you go when the manager dane is working you will be so looked after! If every restaurant has a dane no one could ever complain. Food is spot on and all else match's. If I was to have 1 suggestion it would be the walk to the toilets need a bit of tlc but that's it! Go see dane and you will realise!

And as for the policy of sit down eat it quickly and leave within a specified time they are jokers. Then to add service charge on already grossly over priced food that rounds off the visit nicely. Shall not be returning to this establishment ever again . My suggestion is AVOID THIS PLACE.

Great steak, and cooked perfectly. We had a sharing plate and plenty of food. The wine and service was also great. It was a Tuesday and empty, hence the atmosphere was affected.

My first visit today which was with my wife and another couple. I booked on OpenTable, and was greeted very warmly on arrival. The waiter was very attentive and helpful, and explained the steak sharer that we were interested in. When the food arrived, it was all presented, and hot. The steaks were all of high quality, and very tasty. Generally, the restaurant had a nice feel, and was clean and tidy. The toilets were also very clean. Prices are mid range, and I'll definitely be back!

Loved the burger, good size and quality meat (obviously as it's Argentinian beef). Not expensive either and service was quick and friendly. Would recommend for a good meal without breaking the bank.

my family and I are regular visitors of Buenasado, and every single time we have had the most incredible experience. Dane is a delight, really the best waiting I have ever experienced, he is attentive, professional and incredibly friendly. Aside from the beautiful steaks, it really is the experience that Dane gives us that makes it all that more worth while. I hope to keep visiting for a while yet.

Food wasn’t great, steaks were cremated and tasted like charcoal, avoid chimichiri. Staff service was good but didn’t deal with the complaint. Very disappointed especially as the Reading restraunt is immaculate and amazing!

Great food but not cheap, very friendly service, clean, nice atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, efficient. Only negative is that waiters to not always take used glassware away from the table. The steak sample was nice.

Wow! We had a fabulous meal and service at Buensado Bluewater. Our Waitress Mandy was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 the best! She was friendly, attentive, helpful, and honestly the whole experience was wonderful. The food was perfect. The Chef cooked and presented our food to perfection. 100% recommend visiting this Gem of a Restaurant, When we travel down to Kent and visit Bluewater again we will definitely return. Mandy you are an asset to Buenasado. Thank you to all the staff which made our visit memorable.

Fabulous steaks, plus a good range of starters and desserts. Always Rump for me, but others had Sirloin - all great and cooked exactly as ordered. Good wine list too - Loved the BA House Merlot. There are main courses other than steaks, but why would you go here for that?

Possibly one of the worst services I have ever experienced. 2 waiters for the entire restaurant. Attitude of the head waiter was as enthusiastic as a wet towel and he didn’t take our order properly. We waited for 40 mins for our wine and an hour for our food. When it came my order was over cooked and by the time it came out. 20 mins later my wife had already finished hers. They then charged us for a sauce that I didn’t eat as I had no food to eat it with and, unbelievably, service charge. After waiting nearly 1.5 hours I politely declined and left. The food was good of what came out.
