I went for a birthday lunch for my 18th birthday. The perfect gift, a steak. They sang happy birthday for me, the food was absolutely delicious and our waitress Lee was lovely. The best waitress I’ve ever had.

Lovely night out at this restaurant. Food was delicious and came quickly. Our waitress Lizzie made our experience extra special, very friendly and attentive. Had a few questions but she was very knowledgable and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for a nice dinner in Herne bay.

We went here for our staff party a little while back and it was amazing. There were 24 of us which would have been difficult to serve at once but they handled it perfectly. The food was amazing and the service was amazing too. We can not wait to go back.

Spent over £130 on food and drink, was disappointed as they got the food wrong, brought a sharer started and got given no plates and then steak was cold. Glasses had old lipstick on and was not washed properly. A bit of a shame as all the other times it’s been good and you expect the restaurant to live up to previous visits. Today was a bad experience and I’m not sure if I’ll return.

Food was overcooked and very slow to receive. Chips were burnt, and service was appalling. Had to ask to pay several times. Bread was inedible. Forgot to bring drinks over UPDATE received a patronising reply telling me how long in minutes I had waited for each part of my dinner. Condescending and slightly aggressive in tone.. really didn't appreciate it. Will never be going back. Would give zero stars if possible.

Appalling wait time!! The server was very friendly and helpful, however for a first experience at Herne Bay Miller and Carter I can safely say we will not be returning. We waited half an hour for drinks and an hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive whilst watching tables that arrived after us being served their meals. After we ate the duty manager came to our table to discuss and there wasn’t enough room on the grill for our steak and apologised and said we weren’t the only ones having to wait. In a steak house you would think that there would be sufficient room to cook everyone’s meals but not at this restaurant.

Food is was delicious (as always). Lizzie our waitress was brilliant. Other staff were polite & helpful (as always). Would highly recommend

Initial greeting was lovely by Stephen and we felt welcome. We were led to our table and then we were served by Lee, she was amazing. Lee was so kind and attentive but not too much. She had a great personality and an asset to the place. Our only complaint would be the starters were too filling!!!!!

I had Holly as my waitress she was absolutely on the ball there were 9 of us and she's was knowledgable with her steaks she knew every single one gave us the background info and changed some of our minds on how we usually have it cooked and it was amazing ! Great memeber of the team and credit to the company

Delicious food and there is a fantastic choice for those that are vegan/plant based. I opted for the spiced cauliflower, as I had it before and absolutely loved it, followed by the plant based burger and fries and ended with the apple pie and ice cream. The staff are friendly and accommodating which made for a great atmosphere and wonderful evening. Special mention for, 'Steve' who was both professional and personable. Went for lunch- and after a little cold greeting when we asked to change our booking to outside- as it was beautiful- the rest of our service staff were amazing and the food was delicious- we had the garden to ourselves too!

The food is really good, but the service is always slow when the restaurant is busy. There should be more staff to keep the level of service high. It's a pricey restaurant to offer such show service.

Lee was the best hostess, friendly, chatty, recommended wine and food and good all round.
