Love the burgers here they are so accommodating checking everything I'm having is gluten free they do me a lettuce bun instead. Cajun fries are the best. I've tried most the burgers they are all good. Service us good everyone is always really friendly that works there.

When Please Sir! first opened its doors in Whitstable, I had rated it as possibly the best burgers around anywhere. That after eating burgers across 40 odd countries. On our last visit however, a couple of weeks ago, I was left considerably less impressed. The patties seem to be smaller and less flavoursome, and on the day there was only one person at work, which meant a wait of 30 minutes for burgers and chips. Something has changed, and the only thing I can suggest is please sirs at Please Sir! If you've changed suppliers, or recipe, consider reverting back to the originals - they were brilliant!

These burgers were next-level delicious. I went for the Limitless Burger, and wow what a flavor explosion. The patty was seared to absolute perfection, with that irresistible caramelized crust around the edges. Stacked with crispy bacon, rich Red Leicester cheese, and a bold garlic sauce that tied it all together. it was pure, heaven. Totally unmissable And the mac and cheese dipper? Golden, crunchy bliss on the outside, molten cheesy goodness on the inside. Dipped into that hot, tangy, yet sweet sauce. it was addictive! Staff was kind and atmosphere was amazing. Perfection!

Gary and Victoria were brilliant- friendly service with a smile, and the food is top tier, worth a visit!

Unbelievable service Every. Single. Time!!!! Massive shout out to Victoria, she is so warm, welcoming and friendly and makes the BEST milkshakes (i beg you bring back the after eights milkshake lol). Oklahoma Smash burger is also 10/10! My new favourite! Just love the atmosphere in here, cant fault it 🥰

2 and a half hours to get our food, what a joke!

It hurts me to spend so much on something and be so disappointed 😞 the burger was chewy and dry, definitely overcooked (or possibly reheated??). Chips tasted like they were either refried or left in the oil too long. The first time I tried this place shortly after it opened it was great, so maybe I caught them on a bad day but wouldn’t visit again.

Heard only good things about this place, passed it by tonight and the place was literally empty when I walked in. I think they had a couple of deliveries as well. Two people inside one of which left to deliver so it was just one person making burgers serving and answering the phone on a Saturday night. I've waited 30 minutes for 2 simple burgers but I'm not blaming the guy behind the grill. I'm blaming whoever decided that's a good idea to have only two people on a Saturday night out of which one does deliveries as well. As for the food, yes, it's a good burger I had the Oklahoma smash Burger. The taste was nice with crispy edges but nothing less, nothing more.

I recently had an amazing experience at Please sir ! I was greeted by a warm smile by our server Maisy. She was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The burger was perfectly cooked with and the fries on side were crispy and delicious. She made that i had everything i needed without being overbearing, and her friendly attitude added to the overall enjoyable experience.

Served by Maisie and Nathan l, Maisie made some incredible suggestions about combining 2 burgers and it was probably the best burger I’ve ever had! Will definitely be returning

Visited on the 18th March in the afternoon for the first time, the guy working there was amazing. The burgers, chips and milkshakes were so delicious and quality. Really enjoyed it.

Visited for sons 13th Birthday as this is his favourite burger place. Great burger with the best buns. Great service from Nathan and Victoria.

Can Never Have Enough!! Best burger we’ve ever had hands down, patty is cooked to perfection and everything just melts in your mouth!! Staff is super attentive and shoutout to the lady who makes our burgers because she smashed it every time. We definitely recommend, we have to make a stop every time we visit Whitstable 🍔 and will be coming back for more.

Had a takeaway, last week absolutely beautiful burger, and potentially the best chips i have had since living in Whitstable, victoria was lovly on the phone and let us know when the food was on the way fantastic food and wonderful service.

We travelled an hour to Whitstable to try Please Sir! after we saw it on social media and was not disappointed! The food was 10/10, I had the limitless burger which was unreal! The customer service was as good as the food, we were served by Gary who was super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him! Not your average burger place and can’t wait to go back!

We visited Whitstable yesterday to watch the football and needed somewhere to eat - this was a lovely surprise! The food was fresh and hot and really really good and the service was great - all very clean and a really good price! Will definitely return - thank you!

It was my first time trying Please Sir after over a year in the area. They have changed some items on the menu and this was a welcome surprise. The peanut butter milkshake is lovely, although I’d love a larger size. The chips with their skin on are good. The hot halloumi is lovely too! I’ll try it again, maybe next time in-store.

We were visiting from Brighton and ate at please sir! Really friendly service from two lovely lads. We were told after by Archie that it was his first day flipping burgers and wow one of the best burgers we've ever had and there's lots of choice in Brighton and this was better!

Came in this evening and these guys were absolutely wonderful! Top tier customer service despite being understaffed on a busy Saturday, the quality of service and food was 10/10! They were so kind to also give us a bunch of extras to our order! 🫶🏻 The food is delicious, black garlic mayo is to die for! Had heard very good things about this place, having better burgers than spots in London. Had a smash burger which is a simple burger but was expecting this simple burger to have a bit of wow. It didnt live up to expectations, have had better burgers in less well known locations. the patty was quite dry, and buns did not taste fresh. It was okay not great, dont think i would buy again however

The atmosphere was absolutely lovely and warm especially on a cold day, the girl who served us was very helpful and accommodating and gave us some good recommendations on what to have ,we had a chicken burger and a limitless burger and they was incredible, so much flavour in the food and the chips was also crispy. Would recommend to anyone who’s thinking about giving it a try 👍 special mention to the lady who served us on the 23rd of feb, brilliant customer service!

Lovely atmosphere with staff who are very welcoming and friendly. The best burger we have ever had! Absolutely delicious burger cooked to perfection and served with the best Cajun fries. Their beef dripping gravy made my northern heart very happy! Will be going back for sure! Thank you!

Staying away with work and with not many places to eat I chose, Please Sir! Food was incredible, staff were an absolute dream and so helpful. Was that good I had it 2 days in a row…100% recommend to eat here if you’re around the area.

Wow one of the best burger places I’ve ever been to. The food was simply amazing. It was from the customer service to great food. Nathan was the gentleman who served us and took the time to go through the menu to the lovely Victoria cooking amazing food and coming out front to make sure we enjoyed it A really nice place staffed by amazing people. Good work and what a great find.

A truly great find thanks to the algorithm! We popped in for a late lunch, both choosing the double patty Limitless burger which were juicy and filled with great ingredients rather than too many, over-complicated extras. This is how burgers should be done! I also opted for a cheese skirt just to be a little bit extra but this truly isn't needed for the complete experience. The serving of fries was generous and the shakes were thick and delicious. We will be back and we will be telling everyone that will listen how great this place is. In the immortal words of Oliver, Please sir I want some more!

I’ve been here a few times, and the service each time has been exceptional, we’ve met a chatted to the owner on our first visit who is clearly passionate about what he has created, and one a more recent visit we had a custom burger that they staff were only too happy to go and but the extra ingredients my wife requested but didn’t realise what she asked for was not a menu item 😂. Go here, simple, if you like a burger you can’t be disappointed

After seeing many reviews on social media, tonight was my first visit to Please Sir in whitstable. I had high expectations and I was not disappointed. The burger was fantastic and I loved the gravy served with it. The show stopper for me was the snickers milkshake. So good I had to have two!!!! The food was excellent what makes this place though is Steve the owner. He has so much passion for the food and his customers he spent ages talking to us and made the whole experience rememberable. He is the the secret ingredient of please sir and he has got it spot on. Well done

Ordered at 17:11, 2 hours later still not arrived!! Order was 1 burger fries a side and 2 shakes…… texted through app and was told 18:35 but nope, then called to ask where order was at 18:54, no apologies for it being delayed just that it’s left the building. My first order after hearing good things from friends but unfortunately my last order, I’ll give my money to polite honest people and they rejected request for refund. 👋

Very disappointed with the burger I had here. Dry, lacking flavour and seasoning. I was expecting Patty and Bun standard but it wasn't even as good as a Five Guys. Chips were superb though.

Quite simply the best burgers for miles around - superb quality minced beef, great buns and the choice of fillings are brilliant. I’ve tried them all now and still can’t decide which one I like best, and the Cajun spiced fries are superb. Keep up the good work!

Order never arrived despite phoning and asking for an update

I'd heard smashing reviews of this place, but was really disappointed. I had a burger, my friend had chicken. The idea of a smashed burger is that you cook it hot and fast. Mine was cooked to the point of granular dryness, an insult to the animal I was eating. My friend's chicken was also overcooked. The table was sticky. Although we ate in, our food was presented in takeaway boxes. Barely adequate would be my headliner. Edit: I was deeply shocked at the owner's reaction to my review. I think I was moderate in both language and tone when I reviewed Please Sir! I don't deserve to be accused of kicking him in the face. I hope he treats his staff with more respect than he shows to disappointed customers.

You pay slightly more but the food is more than average. The best chicken and beef burgers EVER!! The chips are to die for AND the staff are delightful, helpful and so friendly. We're not local, here from Leicester for a few days hoping to order again before we leave!! 😋🤩

This was our second visit after an amazing experience the first time and yet again we were blown away by not only the food, but the AMAZING service. Garry, Vic and Becky made our experience. I had seen the Halloumi burger on Instagram and asked Garry about it as I couldn't see it advertised. He came back and said he was just going out to buy some Halloumi as they didn't have any. I mean, you cannot ask for better service than that! I customised my burger and he delivered exactly what I'd asked for and it was out of this world. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome and that nothing was too much hassle. It's the first time we have taken our kids and they said it was the best burger they had ever had. Thank you for making our experience so wonderful, we much appreciate it.

I can't remember the name of the people who served us (was Tuesday 3rd September) but they were super accommodating and friendly. Burgers were good, I went for the splash, but wish I'd done the smash with gravy on the side. The gravy was good! Kid friendly, they have a high chair.

What a great burger gem in Whitstable! Definitely in my top 3 burger places outside London. If you do like spicy, ask Gary for hot sauce that is available in the kitchen(never seen it before, but it’s fabulous). You will not regret! We had a great experience, our server Millie took her time explaining the menu and her personal favourites. Something for everyone. My son (9yr) enjoyed his burger so much he asked to finished mine. One side of fries between three people was more than enough. Definitely recommend!

Truly delicious burgers with a mountain of equally delicious "skin on" fries! My son thought his twix milkshake was out of this world. But the best part for me was the fact that Millie and Gary were such perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble - they made us feel as though we were really welcome and that they were justifiably proud of the quality of the food they create.

Delicious burgers, 5 of us all loved our burgers (patties), also shared 1 portion of Cajun fires and 1 portion of skin on fries. Which was plenty. Gary was super friendly, made sure we were happy. Location is right in the centre of Whitstable town, opposite the small Sainsbury’s.

Delicious burgers in brioche buns, fantastically crunchy fries and amazing variety of homemade dipping sauces with clear winner being their black garlic mayonnaise. The service and the food we received from Gary and Victoria were first class. We shall be coming back for more!

Popped in on Tuesday with my pal , 2 x smashed burgers , 1 x fries to share and a couple of milkshakes. 10/10 as usual . Super super happy with everything you do/done in your shop from your staff, to the decor and most importantly the food. ☺️

O my God the burgers chicken and meat burgers we're amazing we haven't tastes anything like it there were so many chips and they were to die for. My partner had a strawberry milkshake and he said that's the best milkshake he has ever had. We would be having the food again it arrived on time and very /hot the lady who delivered it was very polite. We are going to recommend to family and friends.

Molly looked after us and cooked for four of us and I enjoyed quite possibly the best burger I have had in years! Good value, simple menu, but still plenty of choice. Well worth a visit.

The smash burger was very good and I would love to try it again. The party was a bit on the dry side but the burger overall was good. The bun was soft and helped maintain a great balance with the filling. I’d ideally love the burger to be a touch cheesier but good even as is. The waiting time was pretty long though - around 25 minutes
