Order never arrived despite phoning and asking for an update

You pay slightly more but the food is more than average. The best chicken and beef burgers EVER!! The chips are to die for AND the staff are delightful, helpful and so friendly. We're not local, here from Leicester for a few days hoping to order again before we leave!! 😋🤩

This was our second visit after an amazing experience the first time and yet again we were blown away by not only the food, but the AMAZING service. Garry, Vic and Becky made our experience. I had seen the Halloumi burger on Instagram and asked Garry about it as I couldn't see it advertised. He came back and said he was just going out to buy some Halloumi as they didn't have any. I mean, you cannot ask for better service than that! I customised my burger and he delivered exactly what I'd asked for and it was out of this world. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome and that nothing was too much hassle. It's the first time we have taken our kids and they said it was the best burger they had ever had. Thank you for making our experience so wonderful, we much appreciate it.

Puzzled by the positive reviews here. A very average burger. Sticky tables. Edible but unsatisfying.

First time trying a smash burger and was so impressed. Have to say, this was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. Staff were friendly, too. Definitely recommend Please Sir!

I can't remember the name of the people who served us (was Tuesday 3rd September) but they were super accommodating and friendly. Burgers were good, I went for the splash, but wish I'd done the smash with gravy on the side. The gravy was good! Kid friendly, they have a high chair.

What a great burger gem in Whitstable! Definitely in my top 3 burger places outside London. If you do like spicy, ask Gary for hot sauce that is available in the kitchen(never seen it before, but it’s fabulous). You will not regret! Gary, thank you so much for your hospitality, looking forward to seeing you again next season!

We had a great experience, our server Millie took her time explaining the menu and her personal favourites. Something for everyone. My son (9yr) enjoyed his burger so much he asked to finished mine. One side of fries between three people was more than enough. Definitely recommend!

Undoubtedly the best burger I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of burgers. Knocks any of the chain burger joints into a cocked hat. Absolutely fantastic place.

Truly delicious burgers with a mountain of equally delicious "skin on" fries! My son thought his twix milkshake was out of this world. But the best part for me was the fact that Millie and Gary were such perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble - they made us feel as though we were really welcome and that they were justifiably proud of the quality of the food they create.

#1 spot for milkshakes in whitstable. Very friendly staff and the best milkshakes! Will be back again very very soon. Highly recommend!

Delicious burgers in brioche buns, fantastically crunchy fries and amazing variety of homemade dipping sauces with clear winner being their black garlic mayonnaise. The service and the food we received from Gary and Victoria were first class. We shall be coming back for more!

Delicious burgers, 5 of us all loved our burgers (patties), also shared 1 portion of Cajun fires and 1 portion of skin on fries. Which was plenty. Gary was super friendly, made sure we were happy. Location is right in the centre of Whitstable town, opposite the small Sainsbury’s.

Smashed burgers were tasty, milkshakes also pretty good, the portion of fries was huge and 1 portion will definitely feed 2. The food did take some time but was worth the wait

Popped in on Tuesday with my pal , 2 x smashed burgers , 1 x fries to share and a couple of milkshakes. 10/10 as usual . Super super happy with everything you do/done in your shop from your staff, to the decor and most importantly the food. ☺️

O my God the burgers chicken and meat burgers we're amazing we haven't tastes anything like it there were so many chips and they were to die for. My partner had a strawberry milkshake and he said that's the best milkshake he has ever had. We would be having the food again it arrived on time and very /hot the lady who delivered it was very polite. We are going to recommend to family and friends.

We regularly visit Please Sir in Whitstable and they are always so welcoming. Tonight Millie provided top level customer service, accommodating our requests, checking everything was ok with our food, which was amazing as always: Top Team at Whistable, a credit to the Please Sir brand

Everything was over cooked and flavourless!! Not nice overall and very very expensive

Molly looked after us and cooked for four of us and I enjoyed quite possibly the best burger I have had in years! Good value, simple menu, but still plenty of choice. Well worth a visit.

The smash burger was very good and I would love to try it again. The party was a bit on the dry side but the burger overall was good. The bun was soft and helped maintain a great balance with the filling. I’d ideally love the burger to be a touch cheesier but good even as is. The waiting time was pretty long though - around 25 minutes

The place was closing but they still made my grandson a great burger and fresh crispy fries! I can't thank them enough. Those who know me know I don't frequent many fast food places particularly as they are usually so awful. But I am pleased (very pleased) to say this was exceptional. The service was also first class, they went beyond the call of duty. Thank you.

Oh wow! The burgers are amazing. The beef dipping gravy is something to come back for. Staff were friendly and let us know how long the wait was, but when we tasted the food… such a burst of flavour. Definitely recommend the Splash and the Jade burgers 🥰

Popped in for a burger following a recommendation from a neighbour...having never tried before didn't know what to expect...but certainly wasn't disappointed with the speed it came out with the quality being compromised at all...will definitely be back

One of the BEST burgers I've ever had the pleasure of scoffing. I had the Jade and my boyfriend had the one with the gravy dipping sauce (can't remember the name), both were incredible. You can add as many patties as you can handle too! Had been meaning to go for a while and man I'm glad we did, the perfect end to a Friday evening on the beach. Great range of sauces and dips too. Only giving 4/5 for service as we asked what the specials were and they didn't have any on which was a shame. If you're in the area, actually even if you're not, this is hands down worth a visit.

We visit the whitstable branch frequently since it opened back in 2022. The Service is always spot on with friendly staff and great camaraderie. the burgers/fries are in a different class to other outlets . If your looking for amazing food this will no disappoint 😋 👌. I truly don't like burgers all that much, but my kids do and this has now become our go-to choice for their birthday meals. All I can say is the burgers are really, really good, the fries are excellent and the staff are lovely. It's not the kind of place to sit and linger - it's an in and out job - but I doubt there's a better burger to be had in Kent, and possibly beyond. I'm pleased to see them go from strength to strength because they keep it simple but just do everything right.

I saw this place in the high street , looked up the reviews. Came back in the evening for a take away meal . What can I say . Superb, Food exceptional , excellent in every way . I can be quite critical about things , this is the best burger I think I’ve ever had ( smash) Cajun fries amazing, crispy, beef gravy was unbelievable. 20 out of 10 . On another note the day before we had fish and chips from ozzies , 3 out of 10 , don’t bother , go straight to please sir . Well done all of you

Without doubt, the best burger in town. Great little burger joint, great crew and amazing food. I love that ya can add as many patties as your belly will allow. And you've gotta try the Cajun fries. Outstanding

One of the only places open in Whitstable on a Monday night. On entry, we were met by extremely courteous and friendly staff and I can say that they served me with one of the best burgers I have ever tasted in my life. I will definitely be back when I'm in this area. Deserves more than a 5 star. Please try, fantastic!

Wow!! I’m gonna need to start visiting all of these restaurants… recently visited the Broadstairs establishment and was instantly blown away so on a day trip to Whitstable I came across your one, and it did not disappoint!! The mighty was UNREAL and those chips are indescribable I don’t know what they are fried in but wow it’s a unique flavour (in a good way).

I come here regularly and always enjoy the food and great milkshakes. I’ve been served multiple times by saffron and she has always been very friendly and polite! Would definitely recommend

OUTSTANDING!!! American Level Food in Broadstairs. We had Burgers and Chips + Dip, absolutely Flawless. I wasn’t even hungry and my 5 old had a junior burger which is a full size burger. McDonalds is his favourite and he never finishes his happy meal burger but he finished this one, that’s saying something. Different strokes for different folks, I have come to learn that some people actually like and prefer rubbish food, if you’re not one of them and have been blessed with taste buds then do yourself a favour and get down there. Make a day of it, the beach is right there. BGK does some of the best burgers and is my family’s favourite, Please Sir Blows Them Out the Water.

Delicious burgers and fries, super crispy chicken and amazing flavor combinations. Great service too, when we said we were going to share the burgers the waitress kindly took them back and cut them in half for us. It was our second time going and I'm sure we'll visit again. Highly recommend!

I was so excited to try this place because of the rewards and reviews but I felt a little let down. The food arrived quickly and was very hot, the chicken tenders were lovely but the burger for me let it down. We both found a lot of gristle and hard bits shaped like balls in the meat so found the meat to be of poor quality but that could just be because they are smash burgers? Also the price took me by surprise at £40 for two burgers and 5 tenders but I guess that is just the cost of living these days! I think I would return but try the chicken burger instead. The restaurant was lovely and the staff were attentive though.

Have been ordering from here for ages and quality has always been top notch. Generous portions. Well cooked. Tasty burgers. But our last order in April was poor (wafer thin burgers, hardly any toppings). Assumed it was a one-off but this latest one was even worse (mean, soggy little chicken slices, more batter than chicken). Please, sir, could I have some more?

Ordered before and the food was tasty. Unfortunately this time all the fries were over cooked and burnt and chicken burger was just mush, soggy and the piece of chicken was all coating and no chicken, probably won’t order from here again. Sorry. Too expensive to not be able to eat it

Popped in with my husband as the place looked so cool with how it’s set up.. didn’t realise we would be getting the best burgers we’ve ever had whilst we were there. The people running it were so friendly, the place was so clean, and the food was out of this world. It’s been an hour and we’ve already recommended it! Please go check them out, they deserve it 100%!

The best burger in Kent. Tried the Broadstairs one and now the Whitstable one. Always amazing. Go simple, git the Smash but with Gravy for dipping. You will not regret it!!!!!

The milkshakes and food are excellent especially the pot of dipping gravy when it soaks into the bun! I like that it’s cosy and casual and the staff seem happy. I love coming here.

Game of two halves here. First, the burgers are every bit as good as all the reviews say. They are top notch, fries were good as well. Service was with a smile and delivery rapid. Pricey for a take-away burger but worth every penny. Second, please beware that this is really a take-away. Yes, they have a few bar-height tables with stools but it's not somewhere you really want to be. Frankly, it is a little tatty. They only have a few soft drinks. The only sauce available on the counter for the fries was vinegar. When we asked, we were given a small portion of mayo, maybe it's that way with ketchup as well. This isn't really a criticism the place doesn't pretend to be anything else but it's not mentioned enough on Trip-Advisor. Buy the burgers but eat them elsewhere.

Had the pleasure of going last night it’s as nice as everyone tells you ! Great smash burgers the Cajun fries were perfect and the milkshake was on point . Do your tastebuds a favour and get the beef dripping gravy You won’t be leaving feeling disappointed! The staff really friendly and was very helpful! I can’t stress this enough if you have the chance to visit them then do it !!!!

Me and misses decided to have a cheeky takeaway and boy oh boy the burgers we ordered where amazing. Juicy, full of flavour and just made me so happy when I was eating my mighty burger. Crispy onion and bbq sauce just made it come together expertly. My partner had a bbq burger which she said was wonderfull. Chips on point as well crispy, tasty. Cajun ones where just delight. I know already where ill be going for my birthday meal this year. Our delivery lady Harriet delivered our food bang on time and was so happy and enthusiastic. Can't wait to eat in next time.

Lovely lovely food - had a basic Smash, fries and coleslaw. It all tasted amazing! But a one patty didn’t really hit the mark and would recommend sizing up. Lovely servers and felt very welcome. Would defo eat here again!

Honestly I was expecting something better after all the hype about this said burger restaurant- it’s pricey £28 for burger and chips with a pot of gravey - But Thankyou for an easy to order online service and an hour delivery

Food is good, but we've tried to order for two birthdays now, both tiles phoning in our order a couple of days before, and they've messed it up twice. First time they were so late we ended up picking it up rather than waiting for delivery, second time they just flat out forgot our order altogether. Really disappointed.
