The best restaurants serving American food in Eastbourne South East

This restaurant truly is one of the best I have ever been to. I had the steak burger previously with a bonoffee pie for pudding and it was 10 out of 10. This time we came for my partners little girls birthday as this is where she said she wanted to come. There is a lady called Rose that works there and she absolutely loves her to bits and she specifically asks after her so she was really happy that she was working that eveing. All the staff are amazing, attentative and friendly. The food is exceptional! Me and my partner both had double rib eye steaks that were cooked to absolute perfection! We also had chocolate fudge cake and bonoffee pie for puddings. Both were absolutely incredible. By far the best steak and the best pudding I have ever eaten out anywhere. The chef and staff really are amazing. Along with the outstanding food, what more could you ask for!? This is definitely my number 1 place to go if we are looking for a treat or somewhere to have a really nice meal out. It's been difficult for us to get there as much as we would like to but we all can't wait to return as soon as possible.

I’ve gone out of my way to write a review which means to me one thing. This a worth while burger. I’ve never seen a photo match the burger arriving. Then you taste the eyes and taste buds match. This is winner , winner - ramo’s dinner. Enjoy! Happy Lady.

On a family visit to England (we live in Canada) We didn’t get the time with family as planned due to my father suddenly passing. We decided to meet our family at their local for a fair -well drink. We didn’t book as emotions were high so honestly didn’t think about it. On arrival I was greeted with “ did you book?” I replied no sorry then i was told well we don’t have room. We asked if we could just have a drink at the bar Of which just got an eye roll. Yes it was busy, but no-one acknowledged us to serve us a drink. And we kept getting shouted at to move as they were running food. “No excuse me” I asked where best to stand and she shouted at the other bar area. I hadnt been before and didn’t know where that was. I asked for direction she just said “there “ Zero customer service Zero smiles Zero Manners I appreciate we had arrived on quiz night but if the staff just said i’m really sorry we are fully booked. We have a bar area over here if you wouldn’t mind standing here so we can run food clearly & and we can serve you a drink. Or even tell us unfortunately we are full and not able to accommodate you this evening . Nothing just blatant rudeness. . Top tip….. Never arrive to the Rodmill without booking as you will not be treated well. My brother, mum & mum in law live in walking distance and use the pub for lunch. Sadly that was their last visit as they were completely shocked with the rudeness! We ended up leaving without ordering and going to the wheatseath who were busy but so friendly, fantastic service and food and made room for us to laugh & cry and say goodbye to each other after the hardest & unexpected week. Im totally shocked at the rudeness we received for having the ordacity to walk into a pub for a drink not realizing its quiz night.

Poped in as we were on a few days awsy but Very poor service walked out after cold coffee served would not go back at all ....

This used to be my favourite place to go for breakfast and I always recommend it to people. Amazing pancakes and great fried breakfast. Unfortunately I’m not sure what’s happened. We used to walk in be offered a table but no acknowledgement so we sat down and no one came over so I went to order the food at the counter. Firstly the pancakes had been taken off the menu which was very disappointing so we decided to go for the donut breakfast only to be told we couldn’t have that as they had no donuts??? We were in a donut shop and I could see donuts so I asked again and yes we couldn’t have it as there was no donuts. We decided to leave at that point I did email the company when I got home but got no reply.

It was really cool there, we were there with our language travel group, they probably rented the place for tons of money. DJ was actually strong, drinks weren't that good, well. Otherwise there is a big bar in the middle, a first floor and lots of seating. Bouncers are often unfriendly

Restaurant menus in pieces. No wine or beer available, only 4 on tap alcoholic cocktails available. Made aware of extended wait for food due to trainee chef. Accepted this. Food arrived, ok presentation however burgers wrongly matched with fries/tater tots. No tomato ketchup available, just recently run out. Food tasty and staff pleasant and apologetic.
