Good friendly staff and fast service the food was excellent Especially recommend the grilled chicken burger and the steak salad

Valentine’s Day made perfect by 5th avenue ! Roses on the tables, perfect set menu at brilliant value for money, Outstanding service, always with a smile food was 10/10 would highly recommend for any occasion

If I could give 0 stars I would! We booked for our whole family to celebrate my birthday and from start to finish was a utter disgrace. It took newrly a week to get hold of them to book the table then they do not disclose you have to pay £10 per head. This establishment is completely unprofessional in all aspects! There lack of customer service there unprofessional threatening behaviour is something I was shocked by! After over a 2hr wait for food that never arrived and a drinks order that also didn't arrive we were not prepared to pay for food we didn't receive only what we had consumed they proceeded to lock half of our family illegally in the restaurant and call the local criminal thugs for back up. I cannot express the disappointment and embarrsment we all felt. I would avoid this restaurant and the management at all costs! Clearly they have no morals or due diligence to any customer! Vile and disgraceful establishment and behaviour on all levels!

Set menu for bottomless brunch was ok but topping drinks was slow it seems to be a family run business the father figure seems to be always around working around the kitchen while I don't see much of a managers presence in the Restaurant .My second visit and probably my last ....Be surprised if this business be there next year spent alot on the interior not backed up by a more interesting menu and service .

Disappointed with this venue. Staff were polite however front of house were disorganised and require training, the chef appeared to be working on his own in the kitchen and simply couldn’t keep up with demand and it wasn’t a busy service. 20minutes to get our drinks and nearly 2 hours to be presented with our mains only to find 3 out of six were incorrect or poorly cooked (yes we could of sent it back but considering the time taken to be presented with our food , it was a case of eat and go couldn’t wait another 2 hrs ). We were 1hr 45 in before offered a complementary drink however this never appeared, to be honest if they approached us and offered us more drinks whilst we were waiting we would have bought some. A disappointing evening and certainly would not recommend or return. Presumably the lack of booked tables this time of year would suggest others have already realised that 5th Avenue have a long we to go before they can be considered as a place to eat in Eastbourne.

Food was basic, over salted, lacked flavour, service was ok to a point but waiting over an hour for mains to come out to be told it was ‘literally on its way’ twice. The restaurant wasn’t busy, serving people who came in after us is just below par, needs major service training, kitchen need actually chefs and help we saw one chef and a server cooking. When main food came out it was after 9pm (7.30pm reservation totally unacceptable and late) to late at the point people didn’t want to eat, garlic prawns I had 3 prawns and and extra prawn head, don’t think it was worth the cost and certainly wasn’t any garlic to say the least, food ordered without sauce came with sauce, fries with truffle and parmesan came normal but tried to charge extra and then when quieted at th eboll tjeu had to ask permission from the manager, I would have liked to have spoken to the actual manager, then brought the correct food out after, sirloin steak was certainly not sirloin now rump which was mainly fat was sent back, again all the food over salted or no flavour, the 5th Avenue burger was horrible. Tried to say for and service was poor hit the servers didn’t seem to be bothered which to be fair the food isn’t their issue as they weren’t cooking it but there are standards and this restaurant is not up there at all. No lobster (main reason I booked it) which was disappointed. We’re offered a free round of drinks we first ordered, then told we couldn’t have a bottle but could have a glass, 1 hour until mains arrived then a further 30mins for the bill no signs of ‘free drinks’ place is a joke. I won’t be going back, I wouldn’t recommend and I’m fuming that amount we paid for a crap meal, great way to ruin our works Xmas meal when just trying to treat my staff. If I haven’t already said rubbish, awful food, don’t bother wasting your money and go somewhere else, may have a better meal at Whetherspoons opposite, which was majorly busy.

Went here for bottomless brunch. Atmosphere was a bit boring, probably due to it not being busy, food was nice and as for bottomless brunch we had to ask for top ups for the Prosecco, the staff were not forth coming with the drinks. We’ve been to a few bottomless brunches and this wasn’t the best

We had a great experience, well mostly, there was no lobster and we weren't told as we sat down, had to re-think our choice when the waiter came to take our order. We booked a table and were seated straight away, the garlic bread was delicious and my partners steak was good. My calamari was great too. The chips and potato gratin, and salad that it was served with was also very good. The drinks were well prepared and served quickly. Staff were great. Good luck to this new restaurant.
