Made a special trip to Clitheroe to visit Doe, as on social media, the doughnuts look AMAZING!!! What a disappointment, the shop is beyond tatty and really needs sprucing up. The doughnuts I suspect are cheap wholesale mass purchased and all Doe Bakehouse do is decorate them. I doubt the doughnuts are made by them, they are just decorators! The doughnuts were a huge disappointment!! They are ring doughnuts so cant have a filling, then they slap a load of tasteless filling on top to hide the hole. They were dry, stale, tasteless and quite frankly in-edible, and after spending £24 i was astonished!! don't get sucked in to the hype people! What's that saying?? you cant polish a turd... sorry I mean doughnut!!! which is exactly what these guys are trying to do!!

1 star – Unless You’re Craving Disappointment, Avoid Like the Plague Popped into Moonlight Crosby for what should’ve been a simple, sweet treat — two waffles. Nothing extravagant. Just waffles. Fast-forward 50 minutes later… still no waffles, just the crushing realisation that we’d aged a decade and developed a mild case of hanger. We ended up asking for a refund because our food clearly got lost in some dessert-based black hole. Now, let’s talk customer service — or lack thereof. The woman serving us was giving serious “main character in a villain origin story” energy. Rude? Check. Sarcastic? Check. Refused to give her name like she was protecting state secrets? Also check. strutted around like she was doing the Moonwalk — literally — wearing one blue glove like she was auditioning for a tribute act. Food hygiene clearly not part of the show. I mentioned the whole ordeal to another staff member, who literally laughed and said, “That’s just how she is.” Ah, lovely. Nothing says “we value our customers” like turning a hygiene hazard with attitude into a personality quirk. If you enjoy being ignored, insulted, and possibly given food handled with bare hands, then this is the place for you. As for me? I’ll be satisfying my dessert cravings somewhere that doesn’t feel like a customer service horror movie.

Placed order for delivery; told it would be within 45 minutes. 1 hour 20 minutes later, not yet arrived. Phoned to query; the woman on the phone laughed before telling me it had left the restaurant. Food eventually arrived 1 hour 40 minutes after order was placed. Upon arrival asked for £2 more than the price stated when order placed. Money not the issue but after the pathetic service, the nerve surprised me. Needless to say, food was cold and it was average at best. Used to order from here nearly every weekend. Not been for a while... standards have slumped! Will not be ordering from here again. Many local places which provide much better food and much better service.

Saima is the Heart of Your Store I just wanted to take a moment to shout out the absolute GEM of a woman who served us today—Saima. Honestly, I’ve never left a fast food place feeling this cared for and warm inside. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience—and she made it that way. From the second we walked in, Saima was patient, kind, and genuinely lovely. When we mentioned we were students, she immediately lit up and made conversation about how much she empathises with students—like she actually cared, not just small talk. She even went out of her way to offer us free snacks with our meal, which we absolutely didn’t expect. Her energy was so sweet and comforting, it felt like being looked after by a kind older sister—or the coolest mum ever (even though she looked way too young to be one!). We even had the chance to meet her daughter during our visit, and honestly? The kindness runs in the family. You can tell Saima is not just a wonderful worker, but also a wonderful human being, and that warmth shines through in everything she does. This wasn’t just great service—it was standout. Saima made us feel welcomed, valued, and seen. She turned a simple visit to KFC into something special. I really hope this reaches someone who can recognise how much of an asset she is to your team. Please appreciate her the way she deserves—Saima is a star.

It's just a McDonald's, almost like everywhere else. Luckily you can still order normally from one person and don't have to go to such an annoying column.

Staff not friendly at all when we all walked in. Loads of lads in there shouting and drunk very loud. Food wasn't up to parr at all sent food back twice. Not child friendly at all. Went toilet also my male family members did and found empty bags in floor and 2 male male members taking drugs. Wouldn't ever recommend this roo anyone.
