Doe Bakehouse in Ribble Valley

Made a special trip to Clitheroe to visit Doe, as on social media, the doughnuts look AMAZING!!! What a disappointment, the shop is beyond tatty and really needs sprucing up. The doughnuts I suspect are cheap wholesale mass purchased and all Doe Bakehouse do is decorate them. I doubt the doughnuts are made by them, they are just decorators! The doughnuts were a huge disappointment!! They are ring doughnuts so cant have a filling, then they slap a load of tasteless filling on top to hide the hole. They were dry, stale, tasteless and quite frankly in-edible, and after spending £24 i was astonished!! don't get sucked in to the hype people! What's that saying?? you cant polish a turd... sorry I mean doughnut!!! which is exactly what these guys are trying to do!!

Loved it what a wonderful place food was fantastic 👌 staff all lovely aswell will definitely be back. The food was tasty fresh and good quality.

Although the place lacks atmosphere,the food we had was top quality and service was quick,the seats need a bit of sprucing up.
