Excellent food and service highly reccomended

Very small portions for one of the most expensive takeways in longridge, i expected better. Also my wife had chicken chow mein, the sauce was awful watery and tasteless. Steer clear.

Charging £3.50 delivery for possibly the worst Chinese in the area is ridiculous.

Really rank I couldn't eat any of it and I left a tip when it was delivered and hour and half late 🤢

The chap serving is very friendly and very efficient, the food was ready on arrival ( which is rareity in take aways) and it was still hot when we got home 5 miles away, the crispy aromatic duck was excellent, we love the fact you make up your parcels its much more interesting than a plate of food and a fork. we also had a green tai curry which was also excellent and spicy as it should be, all in all a brilliant take away,

By far the worse Chinese I have had , would not recommend at all, the food was late and only warm when arrived. Very little flavour to the food, chicken was watery and tasteless, we ended up throwing most of it the bin

These guys deserve a 5 star review just for their special fried rice alone!!! We just visited family in longridge for 2wks from Australia and this shop was conveniently a few doors down from our accomodation. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming! We loved the special fried rice the most! The spring rolls weren’t great and neither were the chips, but I absolutely loved the chicken and corn soup! Fantastic value too! I highly recommend this place and wish we could steal them and bring them back to Australia with us. Thank you

I don't like to leave negative reviews and feel my 3* review is somewhat kinder than I should leave. The duck in lemon is decent and not breaded like others in the area. Thumbs up for the duck. The special chop suey is not so special. It smelt and tasted rather fishy. I like fish but I don't feel that this is what it should taste like and I have left most of it. My partner won't even try it. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was the worst. It lacks taste but the worst thing about it is the jelly like texture. I've left most of the soup too. Really feel I've wasted my money. At least the duck has filled me up. Sorry for leaving this review but I hope you improve your recipes from this. Delivery was on time though.

We ordered a 4 person set banquet and some other meals as part of a special birthday weekend. The food was amazing, arrived on time, all piping hot and delicious - everybody loved it - thank you! Would highly recommend!

1 star because the crispy shredded chicken tasted ok. Ordered salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper squid. Took over an hour for it all to arrive (which I don't mind) but it was cold and tasteless. The salt and pepper squid was sloppy and slimy. Waste of £30.

This takeaway offers a great range of dishes with options (e.g. noodles cooked dry or in sauce in a chow mein), and good value. Offers delivery, but we usually collect as we live nearby - also gives us the chance to see Koko's lovely smile! For our tastes, this is by far the best Chinese takeaway in the area.

Fantastic meal I have had a lot off Chinese meals 20+ years I have eaten all over this country I would say this is restaurant quality !!

By far one of the worst Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had to experience. All of it went in the bin. The chips are way over cooked. I understand some Chinese takeaways/restaurants use MSG, but this was full the chips couldn’t possibly be more brown. Chow mien tasted really oily and flavourless. The only reason I believe this takeaway is still standing is because it’s located in a small village being the only main Chinese takeaway out of the two that are operating. This business doesn’t stand a chance against competitors close to Preston. I think you guys really need to up your game.

I’ve been using this place for years and it was always good. Expensive but good. However, it’s been going down in quality over the last year or so and my last order was appalling. Very obviously reheated ribs, prawn toasts, everything. I was disgusted. For a premium price I expect premium quality. Happy valley from now on, even though they don’t deliver

Plenty of meat and vegetables in the dishes we ordered, but 3 of them had extremely bland sauce including the ribs. The fried rice was also pretty tasteless and more like boiled rice. Obviously this affects the taste and we were disappointed overall.

Meat awful. Chips terrible, yesterday's leftovers. Not a good experience.

I was absolutely horrified to find metal in my chicken! I couldn’t even finish eating I was that disgusted. I do not recommend ordering from here.

Got two meals could have fed 4 people

Ordered a delivery through Just Eat for our holiday cottage. Delivery was late as the poor chap couldn’t find us and Just Eat cancelled the order. However the lovely bloke carried on regardless trying to find us and it eventually arrived . Food was obviously not as hot as it should have been but nothing that a blast in the oven couldn’t sort out. One of the best Chinese that I have had for a while. So big thumbs up for the food and service from the driver, after a long journey up north with 2 hungry teenagers, to not get our food wouldn’t have been a good start to the holiday! I noticed that if you order direct with the restaurant that it is considerably cheaper and takes out the hassle of Just eat potentially cancelling your order. So order directly with them and enjoy a fab Chinese!

Not worth the money you pay at all. Cost me nearly 30 pounds for a minor meal for 3 people, would expect that price for a main course each however when it’s 3 lots of chips with curry and rice you’re taking the p1ss. Don’t go here, go to sonnys or somewhere else where you get value for money instead of this sh1t tip

Best Chinese takeaway in the area. Had another good meal. Ribs in Peking sauce, roast pork chow mein, large pancake rolls. Vegetables really crisp and tasty. You can tell that they are fresh. A delivery service is available.

I had my food from here last night it did take a bit to come but it defo was worth the wait it was just amazing not one bit I can say thst I did like about it

Not good to long a wait for food 2 hrs what was tea time is know supper and to late to eat they need to get a extra driver if demand is up as 2 hrs is to long a wait when you ordered just after 5 and I’m still waiting and it’s 7.40

Fantastic food, went while on holiday and food was 1000% better then anywere elsein the area meals and chips are amazing

Ordered twice here now, really enjoyed the meal. Tasty food, fast delivery, only issue was that they missed out our drinks when delivering however this was rectified straight away and once they were aware they re delivered the drinks within 10 minutes.

A gem! With a 5 hygiene rating, don’t be put off by tired decor. The food is always fantastic and service polite, friendly and efficient. Wouldn’t go anywhere else (and I’ve tried all the local takeaways)

Food not that good at all get a special fried rice not good it was chicken and ham fried rice I have better

Had two take aways over a weekend and both were excellent - generous portions and very tasty. Brilliant value for money.

Great takeaway, quick service, cheap, great food, parking terrible.

Due too previous visits I wasn’t getting my hopes up, so just as a filler I ordered chips and spring rolls, surely can’t mess that order up, how wrong could I be, I need too visit the dentist on Monday after trying too eat those chips, and the spring rolls where absolutely awful, 1 bite was enough. Then on to my wife’s food, she was little more hopeful than me,wrong. Chicken & prawn curry, it had both chicken n prawn but curry was like water. We are not fussy eaters and have used this place numerous times over the years but over last 12 months has really gone poor/disappointing, I will not be giving the management any more of my money but my taste isn’t everyone’s. 1 plus ,prawn crackers ok. I would like too think the manager would take my comments on board, and would welcome any questions he/she has on my thoughts.

This husband and wife duo, work really hard and are always so friendly and the food is always so tasty. I don’t eat meat and he has created extra dishes, I especially enjoyed salt and pepper vegetables. My family enjoy the meat dishes especially ribs. The place has recently had a refresh paint, it was clean when I visited. A big thanks for my extra special dinner tonight and we’ve never had a bad meal and friendliest takeaway I’ve ever been too!!

Five star hygiene rating from the FDA. Food always tasty. Staff always friendly. Tried every other similar in Longridge and this one knocks the spots off them all. Would not go anywhere else for my Chinese takeaway

Food is lovely, but the place is filthy! Puts us off the food and makes you wonder if it's that dirty where the customers can see... How dirty is it where we can't...

Food is hit and miss, the fridge doesnt work decor is dirty wouldnt eat from here again.

This place makes excellent food and even if you have to wait its worth it.

Vile. Poured out my sweet and sour sauce to find a dead wasp in the middle of the pot. Staff gave full discount. However, they said they make a large vat of sauce and sometimes this happens. Needless to say, I shan't be going back.

Come here all of the time and usually ring up with a telephone order. The staff of Daniel and coco are lovely and the food is delicious. We live locally so this is our number 1 takeaway. Portion sizes are big and cooked fresh with any requirements you may have. Can have it delivered through just eat but prefer to go in. Would highly recommend.

Just had the most awful chips I have ever had they are pre cooked at 2 ouid a portion never had just rotten value in my life and I have lived a long time

Pretty good take away in Longridge. They take cards, unlike the other Chinese in Longridge. The Singapore noodles were good, with a nice spice. Prawn crackers were on the house, always a bonus!

Having previously praised this take away as best Chinese in longridge now left very disappointed after tonight’s take out. The chow mein (with sauce) was so tasteless I had to add soy sauce to it. The texture of the noodles were slimy and again no flavour. It was to me some tasteless noodles with a few bamboo shoots, broccoli onions, carrots and boiled chicken. I much prefer what I make at home. The hot and sour soup was far to vinegary. Don’t know what happened to this take out. Won’t be ordering any time soon.

Very good service but could do with a good paint job .

Having been brought up in longridge. I always until 2 years ago favoured Happy valley. However since trying all the Chinese I longridge this is now my absolute favourite. The best menu, they now deliver and the food tastes great. The best authentic Chinese with real flavours.

Great food and value. Was a little busy last visit. Usually order is ready at time indicated.

Ordered a takeaway from here it seems really popular, got some pretty standard things but was heavily disappointed by the taste. The sauces just left a really bad taste/coating on my tongue.

We have been eating here for over a year and have been surprised that this has not been listed before. Under new ownership, the chef uses quality ingredients and cooks them well. Hot and sour vegetable soup is spicy and full of chunky crisp vegetables. Crispy duck comes with plenty of vegetables and pancakes. Thai and English foods are also available.

These guys are the best! 10/10 super friendly staff! You walk in and your greeted by the lovely woman serving you, While the chef greets you! :). they all out massive effort in there food and l speedy delivery by the smart cool & cool driver! Love these guys! 100% Reccommed to all, I live near & I'm glad to be a customer, Ps!, there sweet n sour chicken balls are Amazing😜!, If you're visiting Longridge don't forget to stop by if you love your Chinese!;)x

Excellent but order sweet and sour sauce. But got curry sauce.

I went to the takeaway at about half 11 at night to find that it was closed despite the fact that it says it is open until 12 o'clock, I was very dissapointed and found it very misleading!

Good food rubbish owners and organisation

(RECENTLY THEY STARTED DOING DELIVERIES) I ordered at 5:30pm. The food still hadn't arrived at 7:00pm so I called them only to be told that 'we will just start it now'. I was told to wait a further 20 min, but nothing ever showed. I called them at 11:00pm to find out where the hell my food was (I was very busy at home so I couldn't call ealirer) and was simply given a small "very sorry, it's on its way". I called at 11:45 and got no anwser. They closed the shop and didn't give me my food. NOT HAPPY.

Friendly service, and best of all, offers the option of dishes (e.g. ribs or chow mein) being cooked dry !
