Krispy Kreme Liverpool Lime Street in Liverpool

My first time at a TGI Friday, and my first time eating out at Speke Retail. Won't be doing either again after this visit. I came in with my mum and daughter on a Sunday afternoon after trying Zizzi's and getting told they were closing down due to lack of customers and barely had any ingredients. TGI's similarly had very few people dining despite a busy shopping park outside. The atmosphere inside was was grim. More staff than customers, and we still got poor service with long waits on our drinks and food. Rather than once checking on us, the management where running around having loud, obnoxious conversations with each other and some of the customers about operational issues affecting the business. Really bizarre. Then the food. Shockingly bad value for money. £20 for a bog standard burger and chips. £7 for a side of onion rings. None of it was that good either. Really average. These restaurants are under a lot of pressure due to overheads and inflation, I get it. But nobody is eating in them because they're just too expensive for what they are.

Always a good brunch at the neighbourhood. Close to home and a nice Saturday morning walk. Ordered the neighbourhood breakfast and avo and feta toast and my standard iced coffee.

I recently tried KFC, hoping it would be a good option for fried chicken, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. I went for a full chicken bucket, which turned out to be a poor decision. After just one bite, I regretted not opting for a smaller portion to sample first. The chicken lacked flavor entirely aside from being overly salty, there was nothing distinctive or enjoyable about the taste. If you’re looking for something with Asian-style spices or a bit of depth in flavor, this definitely isn’t the place.

Absolutely Disappointed – Never Again! Ordered from Locked N Loaded Stafford and honestly, I’m beyond annoyed. I placed my order 15 minutes before closing, and when it finally arrived, the food was cold, more than half the order was missing, and the burger I got wasn’t even the one I ordered. To make it worse, because it was so close to closing time, I couldn’t even contact the restaurant to sort it out. I spent £35 on this order and got nothing close to what I paid for. It’s just not good enough. I won’t be ordering from here again – a total let down.
