Food arrived in perfect condition, everything was as described and delicious. Delivery driver was very friendly.

Order took nearly 2 hours to come. Ice cream completely melted, milkshake completely melted cookie rock hard and cold. Fuming.

Food said would arrive 19:55, then said delivered which it wasn’t. Just arrived 20:42 and the chips and burger and freezing cold and soggy - never again!

We ordered burgers which are gorgeous and would order them every time, but the fries and curly fries are always like warm never hot. The burgers are always roasting hot so cannot see why the side is warm

Would not even give one star but you have to cold food late and missing food was disappointing freezing cold chips and pizza not even the dog would eat it

Tried here for first time tonight as my wife is obsessed with the cheetos burger. I ordered the chicken topped fries. Omg I wasn't expecting much with this being a dessert place but how wrong I was. The sauce, the chicken and fries where simply delicious!!! Finally understand the hype and will order again!!!

Didn't even arrive. Its usually a really good restaurant but the quality of the service is dealing recently. Hungry people who have been waiting too long, do not leave happy reviews.

Delivery was late but they was kind on the phone to tell me where the driver was that it was on its way I got dubi strawberry’s they where 10/10 excellent and Same with milkshake always order from moonlight never fail to disappoint thank you.

Usually gorgeous! Cold chips tonight and no cheese on curly fries. Burgers were amazing though so mostly made up for it.

Fries used to come with red salt or something on but came plain and burgers were just warm enough but not labelled as to which was which. Ice cream cups were lovely

The App told us that our food has been delivered but it hadn’t. I up to complain & was told they the food would be with us within 10mins. They blamed the App for saying the food was delivered & our food didn’t arrive for another hour. Never ordering again from here.

1 star – Unless You’re Craving Disappointment, Avoid Like the Plague Popped into Moonlight Crosby for what should’ve been a simple, sweet treat — two waffles. Nothing extravagant. Just waffles. Fast-forward 50 minutes later… still no waffles, just the crushing realisation that we’d aged a decade and developed a mild case of hanger. We ended up asking for a refund because our food clearly got lost in some dessert-based black hole. Now, let’s talk customer service — or lack thereof. The woman serving us was giving serious “main character in a villain origin story” energy. Rude? Check. Sarcastic? Check. Refused to give her name like she was protecting state secrets? Also check. strutted around like she was doing the Moonwalk — literally — wearing one blue glove like she was auditioning for a tribute act. Food hygiene clearly not part of the show. I mentioned the whole ordeal to another staff member, who literally laughed and said, “That’s just how she is.” Ah, lovely. Nothing says “we value our customers” like turning a hygiene hazard with attitude into a personality quirk. If you enjoy being ignored, insulted, and possibly given food handled with bare hands, then this is the place for you. As for me? I’ll be satisfying my dessert cravings somewhere that doesn’t feel like a customer service horror movie.

Tried to call the restaurant and they answered then buttoned the call and when I tried to redial it’s now engaged. Ordered £30 of food and it’s nearly half an hour late and I have no way to check to see what is going on.

Food was late food come cold and they forgot the loaded fries which had to wait a further 20 mins for it to come and it was very cold when arrived. The man on the phone was rude did not even apologise

this is our favourite take away and we are regulars, but unfortunately we will be ordering elsewhere from now on. our last order arrived an hour an 20 mins late, and cold. it's the 3rd order we've been unhappy with due to really late delivery and cold food. we love the food, but the service has slipped.

Didn’t receive anything when spent over £25

Delivery expected 20:40 - 21:00. At around 21:00 notification said ‘enjoy your food’ however it hadn’t turned up. Requested a text update never received. Phoned a couple of times -no response. Food finally arrived around 21:30 - no apology, delivery driver just handed to me and scurried off.

My visit to Moonlight Dessert Shop was a mixed experience. While the modern, self-service setup via the kiosk felt convenient, the lack of visible staff at the counter made the process feel impersonal. I ordered the baklava, but waited *12 minutes* for a small 4-inch roll—longer than expected for a single portion. To add to the confusion, the kiosk’s display showed *two pieces* included, but I received only one. The shop itself has a lovely, cool ambience with a welcoming vibe, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the baklava didn’t meet my expectations in terms of flavor—it lacked the rich, balanced sweetness and texture I was hoping for. While the concept is modern and the space is inviting, the inconsistency in service speed, portion clarity, and quality of the dessert left me disappointed. Some tweaks to efficiency and recipe could make a big difference!

I have tried to call rather than leave this review but there was no answer. We have used Moonlight on many occasions and always been pleased with our order. Tonight I ordered two meals and fries. We live about a five minute drive away but after a busy day we ordered online for delivery. The food arrived about 40 minutes later, which is fine. However, all of it was cold and the burgers were extremely thin, grey and very poor quality. What a total waste of money. Very disappointing

Moonlight’s estimated delivery times are always incorrect. You need to double the estimated delivery.

Took quite a long time to arrive, food was ok but few problems such as the pizza was freezing and there was no buffalo sauce on it, curly fries freezing and the crumble cup had hardly any Nutella or aero in, and hardly any white chocolate sauce on the popcorn compared to normal. so not the best tonight, very inconsistent in here which is a shame because it can be really nice.

1 hour and 45 minute wait for a freezing cold pizza. Luke warm chicken wrap with freezing cold chips. £32.02 for what feels like was taken straight out of the fridge.

Items cold on delivery. Wrong ice cream flavour arrived with the order, luckily my son liked the flavour upon tasting. Delivery was 25 minutes later than the latest time given. Poor all round for the expensive price paid for a birthday dessert for my son. Much better when we collect.

Stood at the counter waiting to be served.......waited and waited and waited. Gave up, went somewhere else up the road and got a wave from one of the staff, to say, I've acknowledged you, and 30 seconds later, I was being served......that's how it should be !!

Food never showed and it was ordered over an hour and a half ago delivery was expected over an hour ago from the times given by the shop. Unable to contact the store and apparently they are closed now this is the second time it’s just not showed up.
