The best restaurants serving American food in North West

Lovely place and staff were friendly. However we were disappointed by the service, we were there for almost 2 hours and only got a starter and main, majority of it was waiting. By the time our mains came, we weren’t hungry as we had waited so long. We asked for some vinegar and a knife and never received it. Wanted to stay for a dessert however we were extremely dissatisfied with the slow service. The man next to us also asked for the bill and never received it. As someone who works in hospitality I understand how hard it is to keep up with tables sometimes but I would never let a table wait that long or forget when a table requests something. Food was average, unfortunately will not be returning. The experience and food is not worth what you are paying. Really disappointing as many people have good things to say about this pub.

We arrived at Pappy’s on a Saturday evening on a whim to get a table, but were told (politely) they were fully booked until 8:30pm. Fair enough. We agreed to return the following day instead and booked a table for 6:30pm. When we arrived the next evening, the same gentleman who took our booking couldn’t find it. He apologised and asked us to come back at 7:15pm, assuring us we’d be seated. Hungry but hopeful, we returned - only to be told again by the same person that they didn’t have capacity for us. Very disappointing and honestly frustrating. A bit more transparency and professionalism from front-of-house staff would go a long way, especially when people are making the effort to return. On a brighter note: Pedro’s Casa (down the road) saved our night. They fit us in last minute, the food was AMAZING, and the staff were warm and attentive. Highly recommended.

Our wedding celebration was incredible in the beautiful room at the saddle club, staff were all so accommodating, helpful and friendly especially Karen and Leah. Our new go to event venue. Fabulous in every way. ✨⭐️💫

Had a vegan bagel (cant remember exactly what was in it - I think it was on the Christmas menu as opposed to their regular menu) but it was the best, most delicious bagel I have ever had.

Brilliant burgers, tasty, fresh ingredients which you can see the lads who work there prepare from the seating as is open kitchen. Good selection of burgers for all some more adventurous, some classic and even an option for those who don't like meat. Fair prices for the quality but best thing is their lunch deal any burger lower than the burger of the month and one or two of the more expensive ones, a side e.g. fries or onion rings and a soft drink or can for £10. Well worth it for the quality and the lads in there were always friendly used to be reg customer, need to go back to be honest sometime as been missing my burger fix. Definitely best burger place in Crewe.

Had a lovely breakfast for my partners mothers birthday. All staff were so welcoming and friendly, especially our waitress Maddison. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, will definitely be back again!

This place has been shut for months. It Isn't open. You can't get in. Because it's shut. It's closed. Not open. Not having a break.

When he’s hangry, we go to Shakey J’s because my partner can eat a burger the size of his head. Absolutely amazing food! Staff are friendly, attentive & pleasant. I can’t rate this restaurant highly enough. If you’ve not been yet, go!

So I placed an order for here for delivery, when it come I took a bite out of my burger then I noticed it had MOULD on the burger bun! I instantly felt sick and threw up! Then I thought I’ll just have some garlic bread…. I then find a hair embedded into the cheese so it couldn’t have come from us I also have long hair so it’s definitely not mine! I can’t believe I have just spent over £40 on absolute sh*t food and nearly ate mould!!! I am absolutely raging

La comida era muy sabrosa, llegó a tiempo y a un precio más razonable. Comí la hamburguesa de pollo Dorito, el queso no estaba sobrecargado y la salsa de mayo complementaba su sabor general. Mi compañero tenía la hamburguesa de ternera por la que el restaurante se adaptó a su petición de no queso. De nuevo realmente disfrutó de su hamburguesa. En consecuencia, el precio y el servicio de calidad fue excelente.
