The best restaurants serving American food in Newcastle upon Tyne North East

Another great visit. We had booked and it was busy - 4pm Saturday. Lovely helpful waiter. We had prawn cocktail & oysters to start. Both great. Loads of prawns in cocktail. Really fresh oysters. Shared big cut porterhouse for mains. Chips and salad included. Shared a delicious marrow bone gravy too. Steak was perfect. We ordered medium rare or as chef advised and it was slightly more towards medium. The rump side had perfectly rendered fat. Sirloin melted in the mouth. It’s an expensive meal but top quality food,service & wines.

High quality food. Had the California Burger. Really good, perfect size without being too much of a handful. Chips are triple cooked and taste great. A nice selection of beers as well behind the bar.

Bar staff were a disgrace they can’t take banter one of the girls on Saturday her attitude stunk

It was my favourite place in the past but it’s getting less inviting every time I go there. Some staff borderline rude. Drinks very expensive. Shame

I give this place 5 stars for it's Craft Beer selection in cans and bottles. A great selection of hazys, pales and lagers not to mention a really good selection of Belgium bottles. They even have a nice selection of drafts. Not overly adventurous but still better than the same ol stuff you find everywhere. I didn't eat here but I can whole heartedly recommend it for a place to relax and enjoy a pint. Be it Craft beers, Belgium triples, or drafts.

Great for wings and other food. Me and my mates came in on a Friday and enjoyed 50p wings with a drink. Good atmosphere and a good choice of beers.... Wingman/ Blue moon etc. will be going again

Food was average, took longer than would expect to get the food. Not sure I’d rush back, and there is plenty of options in the immediate vicinity too.

The manger did a mistake with our order and he reused to fix it up he say's you order that and we didn't . He haven't even apologies that thing happened 8:27 pm . It was very poor service it's the first and last time to come here .

Chicken Salad Box £5.5 A good option for chicken lovers at Newcastle University. The chicken salad was tasty, but it’s a bit overpriced.

Always had a decent experience, but recently a pretty poor one. Bacon cheesburger arrived with no bacon or the ordered jalapeños. Spoke with staff who gave me another burger with 2 jalapeños and 3 very small pieces of bacon. This is a £10 burger, not a £1.99 mcdonalds burger. By the time i came to eat it my fries were cold. Got to the point of just leaving most of it. Found a better place that will stick to now.

Excellent customer service, Axi was very friendly and nothing was too much. She made some good recommendations. The burgers are good but the wings and fries really stole the show. The were perfectly crispy and flavoured.

Wouldn’t come back. Dirty tables, selection very limited and they took over 15 mins to make a coffee. Ice cream wasn’t bad but staff were terrible

Excellent food, steak cooked to perfection. Table host very pleasant and attentive. Overall a very enjoyable evening.
