Always love coming to friez and burgz! Despite the fact that they are very popular and always busy food comes out really quick and piping hot! I always tell people to come here as the food is just so lovely

My partner and I couldn’t be bothered to cook so decided to go for a drive and ended up here. Chicken burger and chips with chicken tenders on the side. Portion was more than enough! We were going to get cheesecakes but had sold out, will be back to try again

Burgers are amazing (had the chicken mozzarella special (Milanese Chix Burgz I think it was called) was £12 odd with fries (mediocre to be honest but well seasoned if a bit cold) and a small tub of sauce (huge selection) but couldn’t fault that burger it was amazing, there’s also a board with a list of optional extras to add in box with your meal

This is THE best smashed burger place in the North East. Absolute perfection. Always served quickly and the food is always amazing. 😎😎 Would be here everyday of I could. 🤣

Chicken was solid and not tender the chips were cold and no season at all was a pretty disappointing meal. binned the chips and gave the birds the chicken . Anything like that just go to slim chickens for chicken and chips

Second visit. The burger tasted fatty (like lard), compared to the first time, when it was lovely. It’s definitely gone downhill. Would not return. Fries okay.

Great prices for such a high quality of food. Burgers and fries are always top notch, also comes with a good selection of sauces and dips. Desserts look great, and there's always a great special on the menu.

Friez&Burgz is such a great spot! The burgers were juicy and full of flavour, and I loved that you get to season your own fries – makes it so much more personal. The atmosphere was chill, and the staff were super friendly. I'm definitely going back again!

In the past the burgers were great, however I've noticed a drop in quality. The buns are always soggy and overly greasy and their chicken burger recently gave me salmonella. What a shame

Amazing food at amazing prices!! Never been disappointed. The burgers are unreal! Lovely clean place and the lass on the till is always great as well! Can't recommend enough for a delicious meal that won't hurt ya wallet!

What smash burgers are all about. Super thin crispy yet juicy patties, tasty proper pastrami. Shoe string onions were nice and crispy, garlic parm sauce was delicious. Great value. Great menu concept. Well worth a bus ride from the city centre. You'll seriously struggle to find a better quality to value ratio in the rest of the UK.

Burger and fries for £6.50 is an incredible deal in this economy And the quality of the food is pretty decent as well Although the customer service was not great and there are only 2 tables for eating in. Otherwise a great place for cheap american style smash burgers.

Absolutely amazing food. The portion sizes are perfect. I am stuffed with a regular burger and fries. They hit the mark with quality, portion sizes and pricing. I felt it was value for money and would 100 percent go back. The service was great and the food didn't take that long to make. If your hungry and looking for food that will hit the mark...this is your place.

Probably heaven of Burgers and it's another 10 stars all around i go for the Americano and it beats a Maccy D, i spent 8 and a half pounds with a drink and its the best burger this lad has ever had

Got myself The Delicate burger with spicy mayo! This was the third visit and I have to say the quality of the food was perfect each time. Staff seemed friendly enough and the prices are perfect.

We had the Classic burger set(with plain chicken) and American burger set, and they were so juicy and filling. Almost the same price as McDonalds but better quality.

The best casual burger place in Newcastle and I’ve tried a lot of them. This one I come back to. Doesn’t cut corners with any of its ingredients as well and is much much better value for money than its counterparts.

OK so the exterior looked very uninspiring and the music was soooo loud that the lady serving couldn't hear us which irritated me. I actually walked out but my husband stayed to order something and I obviously tried it and BLIMEY IT WAS THE BEST BURGER WE HAVE EVER TASTED. EVER. LITERALLY EVER. IT WAS TRULY AMAZING. THE CHIPS WERE HEAVENLY AS WELL. JUST WOW...... FLAVOURS UNBELIEVABLE. Would drive a loooong way to come back here..... it was phenomenal.

Absolutely loved the American burger I ordered. I'm a foodie person and intermediate home cook, I used to do lots of burgers from scratch, including the buns and the minced meat. I have to say that this burger made me smile. I loved the taste, the freshness and the portion. Everything was how it should be. I will order from now on every second Thursday. Love it. 👌👌👌👌

So glad this place has opened up while I've been living here. One of the best burgers in Newcastle and for the price I have no complaints. Food is usually always banging especially the beef and chips! Only ever had one sub par burger in all the times I've been. Over all can't beat it for price and a great burger

Popped in one afternoon after wanting to try for a while. Decided to go for the Delicate and wasn’t disappointed. One of the tastiest burgers Ive ever had.

Good portions, cheap cost, with a range of tasty beef and chicken burgers and fries, extras like chicken strips. And a choice of great dipping sauces free with a meal. & all less than £10, there’s no better deal going anywhere!

Burgers are always good from here. Chips really nice too. Also the chicken tenders you can add on are tasty. Prices are pretty reasonable

I went there tonight the food is amazing and the staff are really friendly.the staff are good at what they do I will definitely be going back. I recommend this place if you like a good burger. They also do dessert and cold drinks.

This place is brilliant. Cheaper than McDonalds with better burgers, better fries, and a really simple menu. I eat here atleast twice a month. It's one of the best takeaways I've eaten from.

The burgers are absolutely delicious and come with fries and sauce. Value for money is exceptional. Only downside is no delivery.

All around a nice place food is nice too You get no drink with the food you have to add this on. £1.50 for extra things on your burger Can get cheese cake for £3.50 You can sit outside if you would like to eat it there.

If you are after a quick tasty meal, this is your place. I you like Bouncy music while you wait for your meal, then this is definitely your place. If you like Chicken & Chips go here, If I could say anything negative it would be three tiny Fillets & Chips is a bit small for the price as I am still hungry once I finish my food... I know I can order 6 fillets & Chips but the price is higher than I am willing to pay, aspecially when KFC is at the bottom of the hill & the quantity & quality is better & just enjoy the Fries more here than I do at KFC. The lass at the till is super friendly & helpful, really pretty too so that helps & will have a laugh with you when the place isn't packed out which that has been the case on multiple occasions I have been there, actually more often than not if I'm honest,that in itself should tell you how good the place is from the food to the atmosphere, it is in my top 3 places to eat. The other two are restaurants not fast food places so.... I must go here far to often as they already have my order on the screen before I get from the front door to the counter, the only info they ask is how many portions as #1 we all order the same thing & #2 if I want sauces with my order as only one of us has any sauce & he is not always with me. Then it is rang up & I am given a ticket with a number on it which they shout out when your order is up. Simples...

Best burger place around here. Nice sized menu, and prices are great for what you get. Fresh local produce used too. The burgers are nicely seasoned and juicy and melt in the mouth. The premises are spotless and the staff are awesome.

Ordered from your south sheilds shop tonight instead of foresthall because it was are mistake we decide to travel to get are order we spent a lot of money when we arrived home we were meals missing we rang shop but they were not very helpful didn’t seem bothered at all if this is how you treat your customers I wouldn’t want to be one of them so it’s a 0 from me won’t be going back to any if your shops

Had a trip up from Hartlepool tonight Got two burgers for the £6 menu and one of today’s specials for me and special it was everything on point super quick service and food ready in 5 mins will definitely be making the trip again 100% good honest value for money food
