High quality food. Had the California Burger. Really good, perfect size without being too much of a handful. Chips are triple cooked and taste great. A nice selection of beers as well behind the bar.

Estuve en la lista por un tiempo y eventualmente metí esa caja - apareció antes del concierto de Paul Weller en el Ayuntamiento y ambos fuimos por diferentes hamburguesas galardonadas y el mejor lado de queso mac n - las hamburguesas no decepcionaron, pero el lado fue una agradable sorpresa. Disfrutamos de nuestra visita, la comida era genial y sin duda es uno que volveremos.

Muy buena onda y excelente comida. Ligero malentendido con los cócteles cuando llegamos, pero todo fue arreglado inmediatamente por el personal amable y la comida era excelente. Sin duda recomendaría una visita:

The best burgers I have ever had hands down. My first ever experience was in Tynemouth after a trip to the beach. Stumbled across this place when we couldn't find anywhere we liked the look of. Went for a burger of the year, the California burger I think it was called, genuinely the most flavoursome, well crafted & presented burgers I have had. Service is really good, they're patient and give us plenty of time to decide. The food, just wow. I tipped the chef & the waiter because it was the best restaurant experience I've had to date. I took my parents to the Newcastle Lola Jeans and it did not disappoint. Next time I've a friend in Newcastle, this is where I'm going.

After a recommendation we went for my son’s birthday tea, and the food, atmosphere and staff were nothing short of fantastic. They even let us take our own cake and sang happy birthday with us!

Disappointed in the food very bland, greasy, chicken tenders very dry 😕 not worth the prices! Cocktails were lovely tho and nice atmosphere

I came here for my 21st and it was also our first time coming to lola jeans. nothing more to say then wow. the thing that stood out above all was the customer service. the staff here really do go above and beyond to make sure you’re okay and having a good time, the gentleman that was serving us kindly gave me a cocktail on the house for my birthday which he didn’t have to do at all, and it’s acts of kindness like this that really make a place stand out above all. the guys were massively attentive and always making sure we had what we needed and checking on us for drinks. the food was phenomenal, priced very well and portioned well. Will definitely be back again as this place really stood out, as well as having gorg interior!

We just arrived off a flight from the US. The food was on point, FRESH and FLAVORFUL. We experienced the work of wonderful wait staff. If we weren't leaving in the morning, we would be back for tomorrow nights dinner! You won't be disappointed

Dining room is lovely, service was decent if not stellar. Everyone in our party seemed to really enjoy their food but I think I just managed to select the two items I was unlikely to enjoy. To start I had the Cheese Steak spring rolls which sounded amazing. However these arrived doused in Barbecue Sauce which has no place within 100 miles of a Philly Cheese Steak. The sauce dominated the dish, and the bland queso was unable to make it's presence felt with the cloying BBQ. For my main I had the Buffalo Soldier which sounded great on paper but failed due to the overbearing blue cheese mayo, I literally couldn't tase the buffalo sauce, the chicken or anything else due to quantity of blue cheese. The triple cooked chips were, I thought a little soggy and under seasoned, perhaps due to the current fashion for serving fries in a receptacle meaning they steam on the way to the table rather than retaining their crisp exterior. Sorry this isnt a better review as I was really looking forward to eating here, but was really disappointed.

Visited today, food really good but shocking service. Had to ask numerous times for drinks, waited ages to be asked if we wanted to order anything else, we had already ordered our full meal from starters to desserts. £17 service charge added to the bill, which was not earned. No air con or any form of air within the restaurant, had to ask for menus to cool us down, very uncomfortable when sitting eating. Wouldn't rush back.

I was here on a wednesday for lunch. Had the chicken platter, spicy version. Everything was prepared perfectly. Staff came asking if everything was alright. Finished with an ultimate hot chocolate. Delicious. Will go here next time.

Let down by Revolution so ended up here for food. The selection of food is amazing. We got 2 platters and mac and cheese to share between 3. We were absolutely stuffed afterwards. Staff were lovely and attentive

We held our daughter's birth party in the room downstairs. The staff service and food were all excellent, she was made to feel really special which made it a great night.

Visited with my daughter for lunch on her graduation day. Hayley served us and was lovely, made us feel very welcome and was extremely polite and pleasant. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Overall a very good experience on a special day for us. We will be back Special call out for Hayley!!

Pros - Food was decent lovely tatter tots // good vibes // pretty toilets Cons - So I was shocked with the service there - the staff look miserable and their customer service skills aren't the best as they are quite blunt and don't smile - you can tell they hate their job, I overheard one of the girls who had a black ear piece in her ear and she is blonde shout at a delivery man on Wednesday saying "I've told you already idiot!" This is unacceptable as there are customers about. Have patience with your staff and people in general. Don't think I'll go there again regardless of the good food. After that incident - female staff made me feel anxious due to that altercation.

We had a lovely birthday lunch wit my mother in law and family there was 5 of us we didn’t book a table and that wasn’t a problem. We were served by a lovely member of staff called Hayley she looked after us so well and nothing was a problem she really made our day. Now on to the food… I could have chosen everything on the menu if only I could fit it all in in the end I had a burger I can’t remember what it was called (it was the baby got back burger) but let me tell you it was absolutely awesome I also upgraded to the loaded potato tots it was probably the best decision I have made all year they were lush I can’t recommend this place enough we will definitely be back lots of times so I can try all the things on the amazing menu this place ROCKS 🤘🏻

I had a gluten free burger and my friend had a taco dish both were really nice and tasty. The service was good and out waitress had a good knowledge of gluten-free dishes. The atmosphere was nice, we had a table in the corner at the back which was nice and private. We had a nice time and would recommend it.

Spent my birthday meal here and oh wow!! the cocktails were amazing! the burgers were so so good! i had a tickle the pickle burger and loved it! the triple cooked chips that came with it were fab and tasted homemade for sure, my friend only had a side of the ultimate mac and cheese as she had already eaten but my goodness it was huge! the staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming and the surrondings just gorgeous, will definitely be back and soon!

This is a nice place with lovely staff and great food. I’ll definitely go again. Only downsides this time were the length of time it took. For food to arrive and my burger was pretty cold. Don’t be put off by that though we all loved our food.

We visited Lola jeans on a busy Saturday when Newcastle were at home. It was busy and we booked in advance, which is advisable. Service was brilliant. Cocktails were beautiful and didn’t take hours to make like some places. The food….was unreal. Between 4 of us we had the fish tacos, Korean chicken tacos, halloumi fries, chicken tenders, steak spring rolls, sweet potato fries and chunky chips I would order every dish again. I will 1000% return.

We visit often and always have a pleasant experience. Our order is always the steak platter and it is always fantastic. Today we noticed it had gone up in price but weren't fussed as it is always beautiful. Today it was inedible. The steak was so fatty and chewy both me and my mam left the full steak. The price has gone up yet the quality has gone down, really disappointed. We brought this to the waitresses attention who spoke to the manager who then took our drinks off the bill which wasn't what we expected at all and still paid for or poor meals. Won't be back in a hurry unfortunately.

Have been a few times to Lola Jeans - both in Newcastle and in Tynemouth. The restaurant is centrally located in Newcastle- so easy for a pre food meet in a local bar - Harry’s is our go-to. You have to try their burgers - delicious. They have a few award-winners - my favourite being the one with the pickled onion monster munch included! They also have some great meat platters for the non-burger eaters. Staff have always been really friendly.

Had an incredible experience at Lola Jeans, Newcastle. The service was outstanding, especially when it came to accommodating our tricky diet requirements—one vegetarian and the other allergic to almost everything. They went out of their way to separate our plates, making us feel comfortable and cared for. The cocktail menu, particularly the Tequila Old Fashioned, was a delightful surprise, especially for someone who doesn't usually enjoy tequila. The Fried Broccoli was a standout dish, and the Tickle My Pickle burger was nothing short of amazing. The only slight letdown was the fried chicken, which was a bit soggy, but this was a minor issue in an otherwise perfect dining experience. Highly recommend for both the food and the considerate service!

In fairness to Lola Jean's, it wasn't the place for a family to dine. Its more of a pre drinks kind of place. The food was average and over priced for what it was. The steak platter should have been called the sauce platter. The calamari really was flavourless. The service was very good.

I ordered the Clancy Wiggum burger from the menu and it did not disappoint. I've been twice now and will be going again. The cocktails are decent and so are the pints.

Went there with high expectations having read all the 5 star reviews, and having looked at the menu. Burgers were nothing special and you need 6 - as a starter!! Chips were soggy and salad - well, what salad?? Not a place to go for food

ordered on uber eats… order got rejected 10 minutes before they stop serving food. chefs obviously wanted an early night so declined it. must of had their kitchen cleaned down and waiting to leave… have a word or atleast just turn your uber tablet off it’s literally one button to pause orders saves people being on hold to uber for 30 minutes trying to get a refund. then again they probably keep it turned on cause their not aloud to turn it off from management. just have the bottle to turn it off

Food was soooo good, can't recommend the steak spring rolls enough!!! The server we had was lovely, and the decor inside suited the place well. Can't wait to go back!! Hopefully get to try the cocktails next time too (had the car this time)

I went to Lola Jeans Newcastle tonight and had the best service from Sandra and Haley on the bar :) Both so kind and helpful, and went out of their way to give me and my boyfriend amazing service and made us feel so welcomed. Also Lola Jeans does the best gluten free burgers and is honestly just my favourite restaurant to go in general. 10/10 all around, will always recommend. Special thanks to Sandra and Haley again :))

I had a really delicious burger. However, the fries or fried potatoes were a bit limp. Good friendly and fast service. Neat and trendy place, clean toilets, it looked great. It's a shame that it was terribly hot inside. And maybe it's an English tradition but the Christmas music was way too loud and therefore a normal conversation could not be had.

Nice place last time I did a Review 5 Stars, nice staff good service at the bar unfortunately this time 1 star for food would be no stars if I could, went for xmas works do, had room down stairs to ourselves which was nice, paid £35 per head I got 2 drinks an NO food, I was not alone two other colleague's the same.my advice go but do NOT book as a large group for a Buffy as they do NOT provided much food.

Bad experience at Lola Jeans Newcastle- having previously enjoyed a meal at the Tynemouth branch. Booked a table on Friday 3rd Nov at 7:15pm. The place was very loud and quite rowdy, however I understand on a Friday night this is to be expected. Our food arrived, we only had mains, I was disappointed with my meal choice- steak on chips, however had I had the cheaper burger, I'm sure it would have been ok. Anyway, the food was not the main issue with the night. As soon as our food was taken away the waitress (albeit politely) told us that they needed the table back in 15 minutes. Given we had booked, and weren't walk in customers I thought this was disgraceful, if we had a starter, or fancied a desert (we weren't offered the menu), or another cocktail, there wouldn't have been time. We left promptly, I will not be returning- there are much more hospitable places in town to enjoy a meal.

Had a lovely lunch here for a family Birthday. Food was amazing and the service was really special too. Had the Fish and the Chicken Tacos, Burgers and Steak Frites. All the food was delicious. Also had a little one with us and the kids meal was well worth the money ! Special mention to Aiden , his service was spot on and he was lovely to talk too . He was treated unkindly by another table while we were there by rude and arrogant guests. He didn't deserve the way they went on. Will definitely be back

A group of 5 came here for dinner and drinks one Thursday evening. The burgers were really tasty, like properly juicy and delicious. The drinks were good, if a bit pricey (where isn't in a city centre I suppose) and the staff were friendly too. We'd come back, for sure. The Clancy Wiggum and the Tickle the Pickle were the pick of the burgers.

Had a fantastic dinner there the other night. We ordered steak and chicken platters, both generous portions and the chips are to die for! The service was attentive and quick. Place was buzzing with many different people and groups. We did feel like it was the place to be for the night. And the coctails/moctails were amazing too.

Unfortunately no disabled toilet with access. However we're extremely helpful and offered to take to the toilet next door. Not ideal but at least tried.

Thoroughly recommend Lola Jeans. Staff were so helpful, friendly and the food was exemplorary. We'll be back for more.

Firstly the food is incredible, we have now tried a huge range of food from the menu and it is all cooked to perfection, truly tasty food that never disappoints. The main reason that we keep returning to this venue is due to the incredible service we always receive, it has been a long time since a local restaurant has provided such attentive service, checking in with us multiple times the staff are very well spoken and polite. The service is also extremely quick, drinks being brought to us after only a minute or so from ordering! I’d like to also give a special mention about Sandra (I believe she may be the manager) she always makes us feel so welcomed and special ❤️

Just returned from an excellent 3 course meal at Lola Jeans. Restaurant week. My daughter and I had Philly steak rolls to start with. These were delicious served with Lola’s special sauce. I then had steak platter. The steak was cooked to perfection. Beautiful chips and 3 different pots of sauce. The steak sauce was to die for. My daughter had Lola’s burger. We both had the waffle with syrup, banana and ice cream for dessert. The staff were very friendly too. Would highly recommend Lola Jeans and can’t wait to go back.

Visited prior to going to theatre next door. As soon as we walked we were instantly greeted and shown to our table. Couldn’t decide which platter to have so we got 3 different ones to share. Korean chicken wings are exceptional and so is the Lola’s sauce. They even made us cocktails that weren’t on the menu. Staff were very attentive but not in your space all the time. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to return!

Slightly more expensive than your Meat:Stacks or Fat Hippos but presented in a definitely more up-market venue. Excellent range of (award winning) burgers with some original flavour ideas which made it difficult to choose what to have because lots of options sounded good! Chips are also amazing. Burger was very good but despite being award winning wasn't quite on the level of the two places I've mentioned earlier for me. They also insist on playing very loud music which is a strange decision for a restaurant, probably tied to the overall restaurant/bar crossover thing they have going on, cocktails are nice and reasonably priced though.

Thanks to the fabulous staff at both Lola Jeans Newcastle and Tynemouth for looking after myself and my daughter recently. From making our initial reservation to the warm welcome, great food and drink in a relaxing atmosphere, we enjoyed every minute of our time ‘on the stools’. We had a table of 15 on Saturday lunch time and the service was absolutely amazing! We had pre ordered our food as it was a large table and everyone loved their meals, spoke about how good the food was all weekend. We all also had a few cocktails each and usually with a big group the wait time can be quite lengthy but no, all the cocktails tasted amazing and were served so quickly! Would rate Lola jeans a 10/10, thank you for such a lovely experience!

I celebrated my 50th birthday at Lola’s we booked the room downstairs for 25 people for the afternoon. All of the meals were preordered and we had our own bar, the day couldn’t have gone any better from every starter and main course being perfect, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the cocktails were amazing. I would highly recommend booking a party here, thanks Lola’s!!!

Called in for some food before the match, order a burger and fries, the burger was juicy, flavourful, chips thrice cooked were just ok, very soft and tasted a little oily, nevertheless still fine and enjoyable washed down with a beer.

Came in on Friday for drinks with my brother and the dogs. Was lovely to sit somewhere that was so dog friendly. Nice cocktails. We were going to have food ad menu looked lovely but we just weren’t that hungry. Will definitely be back.
