Was told to wait until we could be seated. Took over 10 minutes just to order. Food comes at different times at least 5 minutes apart. Lots of shouting across the restaurant from one member of staff which wasn’t the nicest. Some lovely members of staff but unfortunately wasn’t a good visit.

Disappointing experience and far from value for money. When you buy a Combo Dish with a sausage, you don’t expect to ask the waiter why you’re sharing the sausage with another customer. Portion sizes are below par for the novelty expense. £34 for a measly portion of two meatless ribs, half a sausage (a month ago they served a full sausage), pickles are a couple of slices and the brisket and pork are an airy heap. The brisket was the only nice thing on the plate. The staff member serving us agreed with the portion and price issue and it’s a regular complaint they said - the owner either had to put prices up or reduce quantities recently. I’d prefer the menu be honest.

We walked in to a very snappy manageress who was extremely unfriendly and blunt, pointed to a table then walked off sat for nearly 20 minutes while staff all standing together with their backs to customers were chatting and leaning on service counter, finally put an order in took 10 minutes to make a coffee, when food arrived omg disgusting my husband had New York bbq chicken I had bbq rack of ribs everything was so dry and no bbq sauce, the chips were over cooked and hard had to ask twice for my onion rings which were cold due to being left on side had to ask for cutlery and sauce, when asked for manageress she came over with a really bad attitude and as she walked off mumbled have a good day Not, not very professional is it having worked in hospitality for 40 years I think they seriously need retraining as for returning to F&B SPALDING Definitely not

Travelling north to Cumbria decided to stop at ok diner at Tickencote for a break on the A1 parked and entered diner was asked to enter reg number in a wall machine apparently for permission to park, staff were welcoming and pleasant, food was ok, stayed about an hour then continued our journey, three weeks later received £100 parking fine through the post, apparently we are not the only ones to have been scammed like this, did not see any warnings anywhere so will in future stay away from ok diners.

I called into this diner for breakfast in September and thoroughly enjoyed the veggie breakfast. Very cheap too. On another trip with a friend in October we again called in for breakfast and she was impressed. Nothing fancy but good, cheap breakfast. Washroom was very clean too. I don't know why people complained about the parking fines as there are signs everywhere warning you and there is a screen on the wall next to where you stand to be seated to enter your details for free parking?

We ate here for the last night of our honeymoon and despite some quite bad reviews we thought we’d give it a try. When we sat down, we ordered drinks and asked for some water and were given glasses with dirt crusted on them. We thought that’s a simple mistake and asked for new ones — still dirty. My starter was burned at the edges and somehow cold in the middle, I couldn’t finish it but didn’t say anything and just ate the good parts which were okay and then my main came and tasted like uncooked flour - it was vile. I couldn’t get anyone’s attention so when someone came over they asked if it was good and I said I couldn’t eat this, they took it and said they’d bring me over something - I just ordered an extra starter as my party had eaten some of their food and didnt want to stay any longer than needed. I appreciate they were rushing but it was clearly rushed when the replacement “starter” arrived so I just gave up. In the end I did get my meals taken off, but then still had to pay for the other meals and then lost time on the last day of my trip because I had to then cancel an activity to go and find another dinner reservation which was practically impossible as everywhere was busy. The worst part is I tried to get the manager to actually look at the fact we kept getting brought dirty items and they just said sorry and got them taken away without even looking so I’m a little concerned. The servers themselves were great but they seemed stressed and stretched a little thin. Not 100% blaming hucks as I can’t prove anything but funnily enough we both started feeling unwell that evening.

Scammed me out of £65.30, then denied all knowledge. Me and my husband went for a cheeky breakfast ( usually go to this Frankie and Benny's once or twice a month ). This time when I came to pay, I used Google pay and the lady said it had declined ( never saw the machine nor got a receipt saying it had though ), so I got my card out and used contactless. Again the lady said it had declined ( still no evidence provided to myself ). I went on my app and showed the lady that both the amounts were showing as pending. The lady said it will bounce back into my account in the next couple of days. I used my pin and that went through. A couple of days later I noticed that ALL 3 the payments had came out, so on the Saturday I went back into F&B's and told the lady what had happened, and let her see my statement. She told me to email because she was busy, but once she gets my email she would forward it onto head office and let them know she had seen proof, and I had to send a copy of my receipt and statement in the email also. The email address I was given was wrong so my husband found the one that it should be, and I sent the bits I was asked to. I had to keep chasing for updates on where my money was, what was happening, when I was going to get it back. I only got a reply after messaging ( never forthcoming with any info ). I spoke with my card provider who could see it had landed in their account. In the end F&B's denied having my money after my sending the evidence a few times to them. My card issuer ended up doing a charge back, but F&B's tried disputing my charge back ( how can they dispute something they claim they never had ? ). Luckily I had everything in emails, so they couldn't really deny it. Looks like they've lost me and my husband as customers. We used to go in around lunch time usually once a month. Never again. There was no apology from anyone, basically I was made out to be lying even though I could prove otherwise. Then the fact they disputed my charge back is disgusting. There's no customer care at all. IF THEY SAY YOUR CARD IS DECLINED MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THAT IT ACTUALLY IS.
