The best restaurants serving American food in England

This shop is, amaizng....I have never been to such a shake shop. I love the vibes, very retro. I have been here like 30 times in the past 5 years and have gotten the same thing every single time...bc I am too scared to try anything else 😛 regardless of my uninformed palate, the shake shop delivers quality each and every single time.. def would recommend 🤗

Stopped here for the first time for a cheese burger and skin on fries. Was fantastic! Will 100% be going again.

Great little spot ticked out of the way. The staff are always polite, friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. They have a good selection of beers on tap and in cans. The food menu has extensive choice of burgers, sides, mac n cheese, loaded fries and some good veggie options. Regular specials keep it interesting too. We've tried a lot of different things off the menu and all has been great but particularly some of the 'out there' stuff like the Vada Pav and Katsu burgers and the curry and mango chutney loaded fries. Highly recommend

Celebrated birthday party with friends and family. The food was excellent, the service was brilliant, very friendly atmosphere. We definitely will be going again.

Tuve un brunch encantador, visité hace un par de años y regresé el mes pasado, fue tan agradable estar en un café que no está demasiado lleno como otros lugares locales en Clifton, este fue un brunch muy agradable, el personal es tan acogedor y servicial. ¡Y la comida era tan sabrosa! ¡Los postres son tan buenos! I first came to and reviewed this burger van back in 2016 and was very impressed. It’s been a while but today I had to work in Borden and told my work colleague that we had to go here hoping it was still as good. I was not disappointed at all. Feeling adventurous I went for the volcano burger with my colleague opting for a bacon roll. The burger was fresh and delicious with the heat of fresh jalapeño and hot sauce. It was very hot but this did not detract from the taste at all. The owners were really friendly and the portions were generous for both the burger and bacon roll. I left extremely satisfied and I hope it won,t be as long until I return.

This business did not re-open in 2024. Whilst the staff and food were clearly excellent the least they could have done was close the web presence. Our stay at Beach Cove was partly based on the 100 % 5 star ratings on Hele’s Kitchen, gutted when we got here to find it shut down.

I've eating you a few times on different occasions from one to ones as well as family and small groups. Foot is always very good we particularly love the coating on the fried chicken and the chicken is always juicy never overcooked. Different varieties of burgers are always a hat as are the shakes. My kids are absolutely love the waffle fries for dessert. Services always very prompt, friendly and efficient and Kelly, I haven't forgotten that simple smile goes a very long way. Will be back for my fix

We booked the upstairs bar for a private party (at not additional cost). The decor is lovely it has a really warm and inviting feel. Mark the owner was super responsive to all my enquiries prior to the event and nothing was too much hassle on the evening. A great night was had by all the the music was great as well, perfect venue for birthday meals and party's or a hen do. Will definitely return. Thank you Mark and team.

After walking past Sim's several times, we finally 'took the plunge' and went in - we are so happy we did. Amazing steaks, great value - even if the decor is a little dated, it's still a great meal and saves you having to go intro central London and pay double

Once again, excellent. Mr & Mrs and staff, always friendly & helpful. Food perfect whether it's starter, main, desert. Good selection of drinks. Food cooked to perfection You need to book and if they can, they'll fit you in, and try their best to meet your needs.

Such a hidden gem, food was delicious, really good value and there’s a nhs discount. Very attentive and lovely owner who was incredibly humble, courteous and good at what he does. Heartily recommend a visit!
