It is a great place to enjoy shakes and sweets and to chill. I had the maoam shake it was delicious

We loved our visit here, big selection of milkshakes. We enjoyed drinking ours in the outside seating area at the back of the shop. We also bought sweets, again a big selection and very friendly staff. Well worth going there, highly recommend.

Love the variety of shakes and the massive choice of quirky sweets! We got teacher presents from here which were lovely. I needed them earlier and they were happy to arrange this for me which I was grateful for! If you have never been its worth going.

The Grandchildren love this place, I recently purchased a voucher to use after Christmas for each for them. I wasn't aware there were vegan options as the writing is easily missed on the menu... So, next time we pay a visit, NAnnie can have one too! :)

Took my two grandchildren into the shake shop for their treat .. it was very close to closing time but as always the staff were lovely as were the shakes I had a healthy green smoothie.. didn’t rush us .. perfect place for after school fun ...

Me and my sister love 💗 it here there so many sweets 🍬 and treats 🍬 to chose from as well as the best milkshakes ever it’s a reasonable price although quite small and crowded when it gets busy.

If you can’t find a milk shake flavour that you like here then you need help!..... They have an enormous amount to choose from... Nice little garden to sit out in out the back too if the weather is good.

This is a super place to go for a special ice cream or milkshake or treat! They also have lots of American sweets and treats so expats can indulge themselves and buy goods they might not have tried for years. An excellent and novel place to visit. This is an essential place to visit, especially in this warm weather!

Lots of flavours for their drinks and lots of sweets in jars along the walls. Shake was very nice but quite expensive, sweets were a pound per one hundred grams.Not much space between the counter and the wall so would be "fun" if it was busy.

Wow wow wow. This little shop has a milkshake menu to rival any. It is fantastic and now they have the little American style sitting area upstairs, you can enjoy a sit down with your shake and take the weight off for a while

Love going for a shake with my kids! Always try and go every time in Witney. Loads of different flavours and they have specials which are customers combinations. Worth a visit.

This place has all the sweet treats you know and love and some extras you never thought of as well, ice creams and shakes to blow the mind. There is a little room to sit inside or a lovely rear patio outback for those nicer days. My only real criticism is the shops layout, they have limited space but it’s not overly customer friendly especially when it’s busy and people are waiting for orders to be prepared. Kids will love it whatever their age and it’s nice for somewhere to offer a change.

The kids love it here. with lots of International confectionery in plentiful supply. The system works well with ordering and paying. A great little shop - wish Id thought of it!

Right in the centre of Witney, with an new upstairs area. Great milkshakes and lots of choice. Friendly staff. Very busy venue and loads going on. Great atmosphere and special offers available, Always new things happening. Well worth a visit whatever time of year and whatever the weather.

We visited in April, and February. Both visits were good. The younger members of the family love the milkshakes, sweets and chocolate. I love the diner and juke box. A great place to rest your feet for half an hour. The staff are friendly.

Needed some rhubarb and custard, this was the only place that I could find them in 2 days. I paid £1 per 100g, I paid for £5 for 500g, Quite expensive to pay for sweets when I found a 180g bag for a £1 the day after.

Excellent shakes, selection if sweets from the UK and the US. Lively garden and upstairs, now also a traditional penny arcade. One not to be missed for kids and adults alike. 👍

I've only ever had a sip of the shakes here and I have to say that 2 Mars Bars blended with foam banana sweets is not my idea of heaven. But the kids love it, and I'm an extremely uncool dude as far as they are concerned, so what do I know? Ask any kid within a 10-mile radius what their favourite place to go is, and here you have the answer. The Shake Shop is legendary.

The staff are so helpful and nice and if you like milkshakes then this is a must. Every chocolate bar flavour under the sun plus hot drinks and sweets.

Haven't been since they've opened the seating/outdoor area, but all the photos look fab! Every shake is reasonably priced and they always have good offers on that change every time you go in there! Love the addition of the sweets and American candy that is available, also. There are infinite combinations of flavours with syrups and toppings and I can imagine that everything is delicious! I especially love the cake flavoured ones!

If you want a decent cool milk shake with a twist then this place delivers every time.The staff are very polite and the shop is clean and tidy the portions are generous and the prices of their goods is not too high.

if you have kids and you are in Witney, The Shake Shop is a must visit. It's an aladdin's cave of sweet-toothed delights. Every sweet imaginable is in there.But it's the milk shakes which make is place so special. Whether it's your favourite chocolate bar in a shake of an exotic blend of fruit, they are all amazing.If the sweetness isn't your thing, the coffee is pretty good also.Only down side - it's just too busy. But you can't really criticize somewhere for being so good, it's always busy.

Retro hideaway spot in Witney. The shakes come in every flavour imaginable using mainly chocolate bar and sweet options, but they also have protein and healthy options. The upstairs has just been redone to be an all American sweetshop and diner with real jukebox. Crowd an be a bit young, lots of children.

Oh my goodness! We LOVE this place.... The atmosphere, staff and range of treats are delightful! There are SO many varieties of shakes, it is very hard to choose - There is also a chance to win your own design of shake.. Ask at the counter or check it out on Facebook.My granddaughter is thrilled each time we visit, which I'm sure she would like more often than she does... It is a firm favourite with all the family and a definite must visit each time we travel to Witney.

My first review on Trip Advisor, I'd never normally do this but I feel that this place deserves the credit!I visited the shop last week for the first time and I was amazed at the wall to wall selection of goodies and shakes available.The shake menu is endless with something to suit everyone's taste. They provide the nutritional information for anyone that require it and can make low fat, low calorie smoothies and shakes for even the most health conscious of people.I visited 3 times in the same week and tried the Reese's, Kinder Bueno and Battenberg milkshakes. All of which were incredible with the latter being my favourite.One of the best shops in Witney and not to be missed, I'll be visiting again very soon!

Lovely quirky little shop which sells a wide range of shakes and smoothies, either with suggestions or to make up. Sells traditional and some American sweets and snacks. Lovely timbered interior and decor to make you smile! Only has a few seats including two in the window so you can look out over the High Street. Definitely worth a visit.

Truly the best in individuality. Fab oulu range of shakes, sweets etc. Good quality. They even have a dog bowl outside and a biscuit for the visiting hound. Kids love it. It's a winner every time.

This place serves some of the best shakes I have had outside of the USA. Really lovely and a brilliant range of flavours, some very unusual, some old familiar favourites. Worth a visit, although you will probably have a bit of a wait as there is nearly always a queue due to the place being so popular. Prices are completely reasonable for the quality you get - about £3For something really unusual try one of their Mocktail shakesThe other thing I really like about this place is they sell genuine, imported American sweets. Really nice touch

We visited on a boiling August day and ordered a banoffee split, warm cookie dough and a lemonade and everything was delicious!I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We are in every sunday for a surprise shake, its nice to not have to choose and yet get a different shake every week! Also not too expensive either :)

I love ice cream, the sundae menu was an embarrassment of riches and the slushies were quite exciting too. I never made it to the milkshakes as the queue was too long inside the little shop. The little garden area was very pleasant and the tropical sundae I ordered was fab.

This teeny tiny shop is a pure delight! They have an amazing range of delicious drinks, the kind of sweets that bring back fond memories from childhood and many american favourites you don't generally see on sale elsewhere. There's nothing I don't love about this quirky, fun, original little place. Be sure to call in if you're in Witney, you will not be disappointed!

My first visit to the Shake Shop and what an amazing treat. A huge variety items to choose from to make the perfect shake. I'm not a big fan of milkshake but they were fantastic. I'm slightly worried now mind as it will be hard to avoid on my next visit to Witney.

Never had one myself (slightly lactose intolerant) but whenever we go to Witney my children always ask for one (bubble-gum and Dairy Milk being their two flavours of choice). Shop is lovely (although very small) and also sells a large selection of American 'candy' (they type you also hear mentioned on US sitcoms whenever the visit the movies'). Not the cheapest in the world but as an occasional treat seems to go down very well.

I love to treat myself to a shake when i pop into town. Excellent firendly little shop, super quick service. Multitude of options available. and they sell retro sweets and american favourites. Excellent.

The little blue shop is an independent shake, fruit smoothie and treat shop. Large 'menu' of shake choices with toppings made while you wait. Shake of the week. Friendly and enthusiastic team. Soya milk and milk free ice cream available. Eat in or take away. They use real fruit and confectionery to create the shakes not added flavours.

My grandchildren always ask to visit the Shakeshop when we go to Witney. I'm not sure that it's good for their teeth but it's very popular. I've never seen so many different sweets that can be bought individually and the milkshakes are wonderful.

The dedicated passionate owners have got it just right. Plenty of choice, spotlessly clean and so much fun. A child and adult paradise. The shop owners are a big part of the local community and push the boat out on everything they do. They deserve the awards they constantly win

The Shake Shop is an Aladdin's cave of treats. My 'salted caramel and malteser' shake was thick, tasty and very moreish. The ladies who served us were friendly, helpful and clearly passionate about making the best shakes in town. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed...

The title says it all, the woman that owns it always seems quite grumpy. No smile or nice welcome, she just seems a bit cold and stern. You'd think she'd be greatful of the custom. The shakes are lovely though which is a bonus.

Highly recommend a visit. Cant wait till next summer for frozen yoghurt (bit to chilly for it now but thats my personal choice!)

Fantastic range of milkshakes, so many flavours it was difficult to choose! (Bubblegum and marshmallow was super sweet but super tasty!) they also had a good range of sweeties and other snacks.The shop was very busy but we were there on a Saturday afternoon so that's unsurprising, even so service was reasonably quick. Perfect way to indulge in a sweet treat, recommended!

Spent a day in Witney today and came across this lovely shop. It is called The Shake Shop but they have an amazing display of sweets too. There is every shake you can think of, we had a chocolate orange and a banana. Both yummy! There are old penny machines for the children to play on. Only negative is that the shop is a bit small and was very busy when we went in. Wish we had a shop like this in Burford

I have been here twice in a week, once with a friend and then with my husband. . The owner explained what he was aiming to deliver - fresh product and light meals in a rustic and comfortable setting, using local suppliers and producers wherever possible. We have already joined the coffee club and intend to go for brunch or lunch very soon.

Turns out I love Battenburg and Cherry Bakewell milkshakes better than chocolate! Didn't even know that there was anything better than chocolate. You can also ask for them in skinny so you can feel a little bit better about yourself when your drinking them. Gradually working my way through the different flavours, just don't know whether you can get any better milkshakes than these!

Cute little shop, but be careful! If you have a basic shake, the price is okay, however, if you have a small child with you, what are the chances they want a basic one when they are surrounded by branded chocolate bars etc!? I went in with 2 little ones and barely got change from a tenner by the time you've added this and that. Just be aware before you start ordering.

So nice to see a small business doing well, the staff are lovely and the shakes are excellent. There is a very wide range of Sweets, many are old style which is fun for nostalgia freaks and quite a few American treats.The Dog bowl outside and the biscuits are a good touch.

The Shake Shop is definitely loved by many people in the town. Staff are very friendly and the place, albeit small, has a lovely vintage atmosphere. Great range of American confectionary and tasty shakes. I do feel like The Shake Shop is quite pricey, especially for a soya milkshake. However I completely understand this as soya milk and ice cream isn't exactly cheap.

Wow. Had a cream egg shake full of loads and loads of whippy icecream. One of my favourites and worth every penny. Lovely treat. Great shop and staff.

As a milkshake lover my partner had to call in here to try one. He was really impressed with it.The staff seem really friendly and helpful. The shop also offers a great range of sweets ranging from retro to ones lesser known (ie from USA)

I love visiting the Shake Shop for the excellent shakes. The staff are very friendly even though the blonde one often gives me a hard time!I would like to thank them all for their support on Armed Forces Day. They spent ages on their window display, dressed in uniform and raised money for Help for Heroes.Great shop, lovely staff, lots of great stuff to eat and drink!

Fantastic little shop in the centre of Witney. Perfect place to take children for that special treat. The chocolate bars that go in to making some of the shakes are such generous measures. They also sell a great variety of sweets all displayed in glass jars. Although rather small and cramped inside it doesn't detract from the quality of the shakes and the excellent customer service. A real gem.

Amazing place for a children's treat in the holidays. Milkshakes are individually flavoured from your choice of favourite chocolate bars or sweets. Kids loved their shakes! The difficult decision was which sweets to choose from a vast array of old fashioned jars to modern American imports. Unfortunately the cappuccino coffee was mediocre, but this is not the main attraction. The shop is a victim of its own success however as the interior is very small with just a couple of tables and a bar to sit at in the window, and can become rather cramped. 5 star rating for the service- although we caused chaos by spilling a full shake, the generous staff promptly mopped up and replaced the drink free of charge. We'll be back soon!
