Came here 2 years ago when in Cardiff and came back 2 years later- still amazing. Their breakfast is phenomenal, dessert is one of the best I've tried. Staff are all so lovely- create an amazing atmosphere. Sad they dont have a shop in london! Would definitely recommend
We were told not to be too loud when just talking and laughing, by the manager who was extremely rude .
Spoilt our evening, I can understand why the restaurant was so empty if that was his attitude x just out to enjoy our evening x
We called in for a meal after walking the Huw Tom Walk from Penmaenmawr to Rowen. Very welcoming and the food was great. The Ty Gwyn at Rowen is now being run by a local family, well recommended. Great place to visit after a long walk.
Had a family party on Saturday the food staff and room were amazing thankyou phoebe for all your hard work my parents celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary and were totally impressed

What can I say - excellent in every way! I was staying here on my own for 5 nights while my husband was having a major operation at the hospital nearby. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and going the extra mile in sorting another nights' accommodation at short notice and helping me carry my luggage on departure. It means a lot when you're far away from home and a bit emotional! You should all be proud of yourselves -))
Never heard of this place but glad I do now. Proper home cooked pub food is apt but this deserves more. Pie is amazing. Burger juicy and so tasty. Again clearly homemade. Not often you see slices of stake and ale pie anymore. The desserts are plentiful and nice to see a vegan dessert as one dairy intolerant could join in. (Said it was delicious) staff as good as the food. Now on our to return list.

Had the BEST hen do day out here,
We did the 2h spa session and then afternoon tea. So pleased with the service and the facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed the inside and outdoor hot tubs, egg chairs and sun loungers.
Service was good but on this occasion the food was poor. The wife and I ordered steak pie peas and chips . The pie was so salty my wife could not eat most of it , the chips looked like they had been cooked in old oil and the peas were cold. The only positive the meat was tender but salty. Hope this is a one off previous meals have been fine.
Oh dear, here we go again, it’s been bought out from the original successful and unique operation and the range of food has reduced and the coffee cup sizes shrunk to unbelievable tiny takeaway cups.
We had to have two rounds to get enough quantity and vowed never to return until it’s restored to its former glory.
Despite its unique location at the southern end of the main beach.
Head for Zinc in town for excellent valued and presented coffees.
