Went for a drive and stopped off for a pint and some food.
Starter of whitebait was good, my haddock main was OK but nothing special, the chicken tasty was a little overcooked and not succulent.
Nothing overall wrong but there's nothing to make me want to go back.
My 10 year old daughter and I popped in for an afternoon drink when passing and the Landlord, Landlady and a regular customer could not have been friendlier. A lovely old fashioned proper pub. They are not doing food at the moment, just excellent beer and service. Recommended.
This Bistro was very busy it has indoor seating and outdoor seating we only called on because our regular coffee shop was closed we ordered two coffees which came quickly and was lovely the staff are very good and the ambience was good I checked the menu which was quite extensive and very affordable we will definitively call again for food
Turning up at peak time on a Saturday night and receiving a welcome and a table even though the pub was packed is a sign of an excellent pub!
The young woman who served us was friendly and efficient, great atmosphere, clearly a very well managed business
Will definitely be back 5*
Just had fish bites and chips. Absolutely stunning!! The inside of the chips were fluffy and soft and the fish tasted so good. Will definitely call in again
Lovely seafront cafe, excellent service, very dog friendly ( our 2 pups loved the little pot of chopped up sausages!) And the best fish and chips I've ever tasted! 😋
Stumbled across this gem whilst looking for somewhere to get a breakfast pre-9am which was difficult in Cardigan. This is a modern building embedded into the old castle site. Nice views of the tidal river from the panoramic windows. The cooked breakfast was a knockout and was served by a very friendly and welcoming young lady. Great breakfast , great service, smart surroundings. I will be back.
This was not what we were expecting having read the reviews. Very limited menu with average at best food. Service was willing but appeared to be in training and the bar staff didn't know what a Wine Spritzer was. Has the ownership changed recently?
