The Boot Inn - Northop in Flintshire

Absolutely loved this place. We were stopping at the holiday inn but were looking for a country type pub. Food was excellent and staff were so polite and friendly. Loved it!

Genuinely hands down THE best pub style food I’ve ever had! Came here totally on a whim not expecting anything, and the quality of the food is unreal!! A really nicely balanced menu to choose from and the quality is unreal!! Highly recommend upgrading your chips to the salt & chilli chips theyvwere phenomenal! The southern fried chicken burger wasn’t just a sad piece of a chicken patty like many other pubs, it was instead a thick juicy and really tasty chicken breast with fresh salad and buns! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! The staff were lovely the vibes were emasculate the decor was really cozy! I will be coming back!!

We were visiting the area & stumbled upon this pub. Staff were so friendly, kitchen didn’t open till 5pm so we grabbed our drinks & found a table. We both ordered the fish & chips….wow! Probably the best we’ve had home made chips, fresh fish & amazingly light batter. The lady that served us couldn’t do enough, made sure we had everything we needed & even asked if we would like more drinks . 10:10 for food & service Thank you Kim & mark

Recently went for a meal here with friends from my Welsh college of Horticulture days of 40 years ago, we had an excellent meal and drank some excellent Beer, I was able to leave two of my #Morgans Army ( Children's Cancer Charity )newly Painted Rocks at the Bar with very kind Permission from the landlord

A quiet day but very nice. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers. We're not great fans of roast dinners, so we were happy that they had other choices. We enjoyed lasagna, with lovely garlic bread. We went again for a roast dinner, excellent!

Had delicious Sunday Roast for birthday celebrations. Reasonable price. Good beer. Friendly staff. Lovely old fashioned pub. What more could you ask?

I love the Beer (OBB) but the atmosphere is unfortunately a little dull owing to the enforcement of Digital Detox. This is in no way the fault of the staff but merely an overbearing Mr Smith. Wetherspoons' easily achieves what Mr Smith craves - a pub where everyone talks to each other - without such restrictive measures, and in a much more inviting way.

Food was nice & cheap enough!! the wait time for the food was a little long considering it wasn’t very busy however I would say that it was worth the wait, will visit here again :)

Had a beautiful meal here today to celebrate a late Mother’s Day with my daughters. Bit dubious at first but wow was I proved wrong. The meal was absolutely beautiful. The service was fantastic and the place is just lovely and homely. Definately recommend Thai place. Best around here by far.

We visited the Boot to celebrate our granddaughters 16th birthday. We had a warm welcome from the staff when we arrived, the food was plentiful, well presented and very tasty and good value, additionally the waiting on staff were pleasant and efficient. The Boot is a great traditional pub that is comfortable, relaxed and friendly thanks to Andy, Jo and the team. 👌

Back in The Boot today after an incredible Sunday Lunch of recent too. I don't eat out much but I couldn't fault it either times and such lovely service too. I used to live in Northop and was a regular- it's still a great place to be... Thanks all and keep up the great work 👍😁.

My niece's 30th birthday party. Lovely pub, really good food and great atmosphere. Room looked lovely.

Spent a lovely week over Christmas, staying nearby at the Hayloft and the Boot Inn became our local for the time we were there. Good beer, food & atmosphere, especially Christmas Eve & Christmas Day lunchtime.

Had a gorgeous Christmas meal today at the boot , the table had been decorates beautifully the food was piping hot and delicious the staff were very friendly and attentive and I would recommend this to everyone and will be going back for another meal .

Last minute reservation. It's in lovely Welsh village. Beer garden out front and at rear. Well attended. Our 4 meals were excellent. Service so friendly. Also, next day, my hubby found he'd lost his wedding ring. Went back next day.... they had it safe. Wonderful. Thank you Boot people.

My family often eat in the Boot but today we were disappointed. The beef was tough and the yorkshire puddings were raw inside and burnt on the outside. Asked for new yorkshires and same again. The waitress and staff were polite and friendly as usual.

We called in for lunch with friends. The reception was very welcoming, and the food was lovely. I had a tandoori chicken wrap, which was delicious, with lovely, fresh, crunchy salad . My husband had a BLT on a sourdough baguette with some chips, and we can honestly say the chips were the most delicious chips that we have ever tasted. The BLT was very nice, too. Our friends had beer battered fish fingers in a sourdough baguette, which they really enjoyed. We will definitely return and just wish it was closer to home.

What a little gem. The food, service and ambience was spot on. We've eaten in lots of eateries -chains and independent, but we can say that the meal we had here was fabulous. Full marks. Will certainly be back-eat local.

Went for last minute evening meal with my wife , service and food was the best iv had , and believe me we have been to some tidy places but I don't think they could compete with the quality of food we had , be making ourselves regular from now on .

Lovely visit today. Very warm welcome, excellent Covid-19 precautions, and good atmosphere. Very nice chicken tikka curry with light fluffy rice, and super sausages and mash. Choice of draught beers as well.
