Abbey Fish Bar in Neath Port Talbot

Bought one of the meal deals food was cold when I got hone and the chips were under cooked more a mash of potatoes yuck! Not bother going again!

when we ordered they said it would be 20 minutes. Rang after an hour to see where our food was, after a few questions they said it was on its way. 20 minutes later it arrived...cold and inedible

The food was pretty good compared to most chip shop these days, just a shame they forgot to add the free can after spending £15 or £20 I think

Large chips and hot and spicy curry sauce were fantastic, fish bite was nice inside but hard batter and fishcake was only OK. Fast delivery tho. Bit disappointed tho with the fish.

Chips were over cooked rock hard and cod bite wasn't that great very very poor such a shame was looking forward to a nice meal and you supplied something I can't eat 😪

Absolutely amazing, massive cod which tastes fantastic, not too hard on batter, which I prefer, loads of chips, and curry sauce which is hot and spicy is absolutely delicious. Could have done with salt and vinegar on them in the shop but I added it. Great deal for large cod, chips, curry sauce and a can. Definitely will order again. Lovely delivery lady as well. Very happy. Thank you 😋😊

portion size was perfect and food quality and taste absolutely delicious especially the fish light crispy batter and the fish just melts in your mouth! Will come again.

Chicken pie was ice cold and delivery driver didn’t even knock the door just dropped it off, luckily I had my phone on me so saw it had been delivered.

original delivery time was amended to 30 minutes later. but did arrive then

missing 2 fish. and told that they couldn't bring them I had to go get them. wasn't offered any money back and was told to contact just eat with complaints as they are too busy to deal with it

Terrible experience… delivery driver refused to deliver items to the correct address and demanded additional fee for the delivery of the food. Be careful when ordering food. Even when your correct address is visible on your app!!!

Quite disappointed this evening. Original time of delivery was 16:50 latest but this was pushed back several times. In the end it was delivered at 17:50, resulting in having to rush eating before my son's care staff turned up at 18:00.

tried to get order delivered instead of collection. but couldn't get throught to anyone. just kept being passed over to different people. would like a refund plz thanks.

Coke can was forgotten, they asked if I wanted to go and collect it I said I couldn’t I have two babies and that is why I paid for delivery. No offer of sending it out with another driver. Very disappointed

We've been buying cod and chips from Abbey Fish Bar for years and we're very happy with the food, the portions, the service and the price.

Sadly not a touch on our 1st order, fish definately wasn't fresh and curry was cold. For the money we paid very very disappointed. Will not order again.

Delivery great. Unfortunately the chips were so hard that we couldn’t eat them, it’s normal to have the odd hard chip but this was absolutely ridiculous.

AMAZING CURRY and the chicken was banging

Very small portions, ordered large & small chips both were the same size. Pies were cold so was the cheesy rissole. Only thing was like warm was the gravy. Delivery isn’t very good either. Said it was gonna be 30-45mins arrived 1hr 15mins.

Delicious food . But delivery time kept changing to later .. and I wouldn't of had the correct order if I hadn't caught the driver in time to correct it

Absolutely enormous portions of chips with great value; they were also pretty tasty. The cheeseburger left something to be desired but it was okay. Would visit again. Note: the attached photo is a supposedly "small" portion of chips

My partner ordered a chicken breast, to which the girl working behind the counter went "is this cooked" the man working behind the counter. Who then looked at it, took it out the back and bought it back to the front. When we got home, the chicken was NOT cooked, and we had to put it in the airfier for 25 minutes. Absolutely disgusting, they should be shut down. Didn't even bother taking it back as we wasted enough money on the food as well as fuel.

Chips were awful, hot curry sauce was anything but. My advice is to avoid. If there was a zero or better yet a minus star option I'd choose it. Much better chip shops around, only tried it because my son wanted to. Awful, wish we hadn't.

Chilli was bland. Chips not cooked that came with it, and the burger was cold. Onion bhai was rubbery. Hot curry sauce was nice, as was the mushy pea fritter, and my chips were lovely.
