Lunch time Menu is Superb Value For Money👌

Lovely restaurant, delicious food, friendly, helpful staff. Good vegetarian and vegan options. However, it was during a warm, sunny few days and we were a large group, seated upstairs, and it was unbearably warm. Thankfully a friend had a handheld fan i borrowed. If a fan can't be installed at the very least all windows need to be open to create a flow of air (they were finally all opened much later in the evening, which helped but a tad late). Still recommended for food and hospitality! :-)

First time visit here for my daughter’s 16th birthday meal, food was outstanding. Staff were amazing!! Thank you. we will be back soon.

Amazing pasta and seafood dish. Saturday lunchtime menu two courses for 12 pounds. Great value. Staff were excellent I highly recommend this establishment.

The food was okay, had a clazone, was slightly undercooked. The service was pretty poor, slow and poor quaility. The atmosphere was poor as other tables were also affected by the poor service. Probably won't go again, plenty of other options in the Neath Port Talbot area.

Good food and exceptional value, we had an excellent two course lunch at Bella Ciao for less money than you would spend in a Wetherspoons. Very good service.

Can't say enough good about this restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere were top notch. Even though we were simply passing through as tourists from America, the owner made a point to talk to us for a long time and even gave us a free dessert to show he appreciated us choosing his restaurant. Highly recommend for great, authentic Italian food. The lasagna was incredible.

Visited a few times now and always had a brilliant time. The food is excellent quality, well cooked and definitely value for money. There is something for everyone and they cater well for children too. Service is spot on and it's always clean. Definitely recommend!

I had ribeye steak cooked exactly as I asked and really tender. The vegetables were just right too. Others said that their meals were excellent. You will need to book well in advance as it is very popular.

Lvly visit last evening for a meal with my family. Food Service were all first class.

Excellent restaurant, delicious food with generous portion sizes, friendly staff and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I have travelled all round the world and was very pleasantly surprised that by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to is just 5 minutes walk from my home. 5/5 I will be going again and hopefully many more times in the future.

If you want real Italian food then come here. This has been the best restaurant I've ever been to. The food was perfect and the staff were amazing. Had a lovely chat with the owners and head chef. Been working in Port Talbot for 2 weeks and been here 6 times and every time was 10/10. Perfect. Me and my father came here and were treated like royalty. I would like to thank the chef for making us a surprise starter on our last night. I would like to thank the hole staff for an amazing experience xxx

Bella Ciao is absolutely stunning. We made the reservation a few days ago which was super easy to do on the website. The staff are so polite and lovely and really made sure we had everything we needed. The service was timed perfectly and the food was out of this world. The flavours, presentation and taste were all stunning! We we're rolling home by the time we left. It was out first time there today but certainly will not be the last! It made my birthday even better. I can't wait to go again 😊

Honestly, I cannot fault the service and the food in this place. Absolutely stunning food and you can tell it's cooked with passion and from the heart. Myself and my Mum had the 12 Hour Slow Cooked Lamb Shank with mashed potato and red wine sauce as it was on the Chef's Specials and it was simply divine. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone. Very attentive service from start to finish!

Fantastic service, very friendly staff, very efficient very helpful. Beautiful atmosphere and deco. Food was absolutely fabulous. My only complaint was I didn't have my portabello mushroom with my steak. Apart from that all the food we ordered was impeccable. Ideal for a romantic dinner. To take anyone you'd like to impress. Money wise it's not cheap, but you pay for what you get don't you. I thought it was very reasonable for the extremely high quality of food received. Highly recommend a visit, guarantee you'll re visit.

I visited Bella Ciao yesterday evening for a belated birthday meal with friends. This was my 1st visit, and I will definitely be returning. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is clean and nicely presented. It was quiet when we arrived but then got busier as the evening progressed but not too crowded. The staff were very hospitable and friendly, offering good advice and explanation of dishes. The food was absolutely delicious, probably the best meal I've had for a while. I had the Cacio e pepe, which was prepared table side. It was delishiously creamy, beautiful seasoned, and not too overpowering, certainly a dish I will try again. It paired very well with the Pane e aglio pizza (garlic bread), which was thin and crispy and not at all heavy. I really wanted to try their desserts, but the food was so good I had to finish every bite and was too full after my main. If you enjoy authentic Sicilian and Italian food, you must visit here.

Excellent place for a quiet lunch time meal with friends

I have been to this restaurant many times some years ago, it’s was a regular place to eat as the plaster is homemade and feels very authentic, Italian. The food remains wonderful so fresh, hit and tasty and plenty of it. However the service was very disappointing, a young lad bent over the table to serve rather than walk around, he clearly had no training… not his fault I’m sure, we sat with empty drinks for so long and it felt as though we couldn’t gain eye contact with any servers. The food came out at different times and my son had finished his meal before the rest of us had any food. My bolognaise had no meat and hardly any sauce, just awful today sorry. My husband ordered rump steak med/ rare and arrived med/ well and looked like it was dragged from the back of the fridge, he sent this back and decided not to eat there and just sat while we ate. However in their defence it was busy as there was a food festival on town that day. I felt a little embarrassed that I’d recommended the place as we had visitors from Australia in our group. So disappointed.

Lovely little Restaurant, first time we have visited and it will not be the last, lovely food great service and a nice atmosphere at lunch time. We had things fro. The Lunch Menu but we will definitely be trying their menu as well.

Excellent staff and food amazing

Beautiful meal from the set menu for my husband and I. The calzone was so filling and delicious but the Mozzarella Arancine was just amazing! The staff were very attentive and welcoming. We look forward to visiting for another meal very soon!

My date and I came here recently and it was absolutely beautiful. From the start until the end, our server was accommodating and lovely. The new evening menu offered a variety of choices, which was hard as it all looked so tempting! The food complimented by a glass or two of wine which was truly authentic, truly Italian! Both of us enjoyed each other's company in such a great setting. I would highly recommend this beautiful Italian to anyone who's looking for a true taste of Italy. Bella Ciao Thank you!

Food wasn’t great, lacked flavour. But it’s great to see that any notion of negativity in a review of this place is met with argumentative and patronising commentary from who I assume is the owner. Also, the toilets could do with a clean. I’m going to assume I’ll be told the toilets are cleaned regularly and I’m wrong for having this opinion. (Possibly saved the owner time by commenting on my own feedback, maybe use that time to clean the toilets, cobwebs suggest they aren’t cleaned very often)

What an amazing Italian Restaurant this is. I felt like I was dining out in Italy the food was so authentic. It really took me back to some wonderful times in Italy. I took my mother and niece who was 13, the waitress was amazing the chief came out and was chatting, good quality food, I will definitely go again.

Very limited menu, but lovely food. Desserts ended up being the best part, and looked gorgeous. 3 courses each and a couple of drinks came to around £54, so quite reasonably priced too. Personally, we might struggle to visit again quickly, only due to the limited menu. If it were to be expanded, we'd possibly make this a regular stop.

Terrible service,a couple of us had the pasta dish which was all curled and dry,one meal came when we had all finished eating ,which was the tagliatelle again aweful !!will not be returning

Evening meal with the family. We had a table of six. Very warm welcome. Plenty of affordable choices on the menu, attentive, knowledgeable staff. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Starters and accompaniments were amazing. Opted for the chefs recommendation of Sword fish for the main course, not something I would normally order. In fact, don’t normally order fish when I go out for a meal. I was not disappointed. Had to have the tiramisu for dessert. Well it is an Italian after all !! Amazing night will certainly be back soon.

Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff

Been twice for lunch, and first class both times. Tasty food and good wine at a reasonable price. Seems to me there are some bad people posting poor reviews in order to discredit the owner. Shame on you. We really enjoyed both times and the staff have been lovely. Booked again for next Friday evening.

Had a lovely meal Saturday service was slow but staff were very friendly and helpful. However some of the party ordered chips and only received 6 chips on a plate could have had more than that surely. As a previous suggestion vegetables would have been a nice addition added to some of the meals. Don't think I will be calling back too soon not value for money

Went there today, not a great start when you have to wait over 5 mins for someone to take your drinks order. Food was nice but some of it was over salted in particular the garlic bread, great way for them to get you to buy more drinks no doubt. No veg with any of our meals, used to having at least peas with a steak. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Great food - everyone was very satisfied. The only thing that disappointed us (and lost a star) was the disjointed service. Some of us were halfway through our main course and some had not yet received theirs yet.

Beautiful, authentic Italian food!!! The arancini and Lasagna is on another level! Best authentic Italian around port talbot and swansea ! Domina and her family as so welcoming and lovely. If you want real Italian food, go here !
