My partner and I had a takeaway from here whilst on holiday. Good was ready on time and super hot. Still scorching hot after a 15 mins drive back.ot was abolsutely delicious and great portion sizes. Ammanford are truly spoilt! I had the king do chicken which was lovley and succelent. The crispy chilli beef was fantastic. So nice to have crispy chilli beef where the crispy chilli beef is actually hot. The restaurants near us seem to sever cold crispy chilli beef and just dump warm sauce on it. 10/10 for the crispy chilli beef! My partner had barbecue pork chow mein, chicken noodle soup and crispy wontons which were also lovely.

Absolutely love this place ! Always receive a warm welcome which extends to my little dog ! Love the pay it forward scheme they run .so not only a great little cafe but supporting a really good cause too. Great 👌

A highlight of our Britain trip. I had the curry bowl and my girlfriend had the shrimp. Tasty and filling lunch. We really enjoyed it.

The meat was really tasty. I wish the restaurant had some form of seating for when your collection isn't quite ready. The venue seems nice and I may consider dining in at some point in the future. The saag curry was a bit different to what I usually had but it was still good.

I didn't stay the night but the establishment was spotlessly clean ,the food was well presented and tasty, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, will definitely call back in when I'm up there again

working for this company is not recommended! my daughter was offered a job, worked 24 hours in 4 days, she has not been given any more hours, they said it was not busy enough and "to bear with them" this was in September! they ignore messages and don't communicate with any their so called staff when asked what's happening with shifts, very poor employers!!

While Metchy's is a little more pricey than some other cafés around Cardiff, I guarantee the extra money is more than worth spending... The food is absolutely delicious - when I went last week (maybe my 3rd visit so far and my first one eating a proper meal there) I had the American Pancakes with egg (so yum), and my girlfriend had the Veggie Breakfast (divine), which I kept sneaking bites of. The food alone is worth the visit! On top of this the owner is so lovely, and the environment is very chill, making it a great place to study, brunch, or just grab a drink (alcoholic or not (the cocktails are very reasonably priced)). Outside seats make it an especially great spot to visit now that summer is fast approaching too! Overall a great spot in Cathays and I'd deffo recommend a visit (if you're not already a regular haha!)

We were on holiday in Fishguard and came on a Saturday evening for the middle eastern inspired menu - we shared a mezze board, baby potatoes and a burrata between 2 and we could even manage it all. All of the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was spot on. They even let us bring our 2 doggos which just makes it 10/10 for us! Would definitely recommend!

Called in Llandovery for a late lunch, knew most of the pubs but never eaten in any. Went into the Bear five minutes before they stopped serving food and they welcomed us. Had a wonderful lunch, really enjoyed it

Had a room booked to celebrate a birthday in December. Had a bit of an odd feeling about the place in August as the booking calendar suddenly disappeared. My wife called them and was assured that everything was fine and we would be welcomed in December. Had an email on 3rd September from a winding-up firm that the Unicorn ceased trading and went into voluntary liquidation from 1st September and I would join a list of creditors. I guess that's my deposit: the cost of a night's stay, is forfeit.

Extremely tasty Cornish pasty’s. Hot and delicious. Service was pleasant and prompt. Very handy place right on the harbour front. Highly recommend a visit if in the area
