Paddy welcomed my uni daughter and her friends back in Sept and they loved coming here regularly for a few drinks and a chat. My daughter even made sure to say goodbye at the end of term and said she will miss the people, atmosphere and fun. I know she will be back again in Sept

Great pub, very friendly and a good atmosphere. If you go you must try the chilli vodka it is incredible! A round of this with your mates and you will have an unforgettable night. Highly recommend.

Went for a Friday evening social for a change and stayed there all night as they had a live band on, (Adelphi ) which were great. Good atmosphere and staff. Cheers

Went on a day trip to Wales on Saturday to holyhead and got a train to Banger when we got there we called into a bar called Patrick's bar the bar man was a nice guy he talked to us about some interesting things to see in the City and places of interest.

It's a Irish bar, no food but great landlord, he made us very welcome

A great pub with amazing humorous commentary throughout the pub done by its owner Patrick! Visited and rented his Airbnb for 3 nights and was a pleasure, everything went smoothly and allowed us to eat pizza from next door at his pub! Highly recommend for a visit! :)

Real ale hot-spot in Bangor. The landlord aims to keep three ales on pump at any one time, with the selection very diverse. At weekends, the pub is unexpectedly popular as a stop-off on pub crawls, so may be busy, but the atmosphere remains convivial and friendly. Irish theme-pub decor. Overall a unique experience you shouldn't miss.

We were made very welcome by Patrick and his team. Beer excellent. He recommended the pizza nearby and even let us eat it in the pub. He also supplied fancy napkins by the roll. Sorry we left the pizza boxes behind. Well worth a visit.

Good place to start a night out. If you want a good deal though, make sure you ask paddy what the specials are that day! He gives deals to his regulars!

Best Irish bar in all of Wales! Guinness was perfect! Good value beer, nice atmosphere and great service, the legend landlord even let us order in pizzas from next door! 10/10 would recommend!

Superbly kept ales, entertaining landlord and an extraordinary (new) fresh, homemade, Italian kitchen run by the charismatic Rita. Patrick's and Rita's are reason enough to come to Bangor (as the song says..)

Go here occasionally in the night after finishing work. Generally a good atmosphere and good service at the bar whether it is from the Landlord or other Bar Staff.

Wasn't to busy but the students were away, still a good pub

We had dinner and the food is not bad. The restaurant run by an Italian lady and she is ok cool.

It's a nice place. Kinda cosy since it's usually not very crowded. It's also in a good location, near the pizza house.

Best pint of beer I've had for a long time the Cheshire cat is recommended but the landlord tells me to try the dark mild next time. We also enjoyed homemade pasta with a garlic + tomato sauce again everything made by Rita Scalas the Italian chef who prepares and serves the food. Recommended if your in Hightown Bangor.

What can I say, paddy's is a popular place, and now doing some fine dining as well. The landlord is a great fella, top banter, plus good friend.

Not really an Irish bar. but defo a good pub. Had a great few hours here. Really good choice of beer and lots of space. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were always working hard.

Friendly bar staff and good food. How you're supposed to order a 'Taco Dawg' without sounding like a gangsta wannabe is still beyond me but it tasted nice so can't really complain.

I like the style of this bar, one man with lots of drinks. The Gin are great, that what I drink. There are not lots of people in the bar, it's really quiet. When I walk in like only three people standing next to the bar, having a conversation. It's quiet, that why I kinda like it.

This place is great.....i highly recommend stopping in for an ale.

Paddy's the best in town, great guy. His bar plays sports on the tv (not just football, niche stuff like baseball too). Could not recommend this bar highly enough.
