The Helm Asian Cuisine in Pembrokeshire

working for this company is not recommended! my daughter was offered a job, worked 24 hours in 4 days, she has not been given any more hours, they said it was not busy enough and "to bear with them" this was in September! they ignore messages and don't communicate with any their so called staff when asked what's happening with shifts, very poor employers!!

Booked for dinner on entering the staff were warm,welcoming and friendly,they came to our table and explained the menu's,there were plenty of options and they were happy to advise on what the meals were,I would happily recommend this place for a night out,also a large venue lots of space

Food was great! All served fresh and staff were very helpful on informing us what each dish was and encouraging us to try different dishes all for a very generous price.

Been here a few times now. Food is amazing. Price is so good for the amount you get. Staff are so helpful and attentive. Always offering more food and explaining the dishes. Would 100% recommend.

Absolutely lovely, been there twice and the staff are very kind, the food is banging, me and my boyfriend love going there, thankyou very much guys ❤

Good food, good service, was at a work's do, food was served efficiently and was hot and delicious.

Very cold as heating not working. Very little effort to decorate the room for Christmas parties. Food ok, turkey was a bit dry, but nice veg and plenty of it. For dessert I had Bailey's cheesecake - very rich and sickly, I couldn't eat it all.

We had our works Christmas do today 22nd Dec 2022,pre ordered breakfast,there was 24 of us,it was absolutely fantastic thanks very much Tony and team..

I've had a few meals at The Helm. I cannot fault the service. Excellent value for money for generous portion sizes and the staff go above and beyond for anything you need.

Oh my goodness.. what an absolutely delicious Sunday dinner. The lamb was so tender. And a huge range of vegetables cooked to perfection. My only negative was that the food was that there was so much delicious food that I didn't have any room for the delicious looking desserts. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing food, and very relaxed atmosphere Warm and friendly staff. My new favourite place to eat.

For how much you pay you get great portions, and the staff are always nice. Can be a bit loud at times, but I didn't mind

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Helm. The food was excellent, staff and service were very friendly, informative and professional. Also very helpful for the 'fussy eater' lol. Very generous portions and the meat was delicious and tender. Suitable for all ages and also wheelchair accessible. Will definitely visit again when we are next in the area.

You can drive past and miss this place. It sounds harsh, but it isn't much to look at outside or inside, but my god, the food...😍 It's delicious. Massive portions, PROPER chips, PROPER burgers(no oven ready junk), and PROPER portions.... There's a chain pub nearby, I've been to both. This place wins hands down.. Recommended

I went to The Helm for Sunday lunch with a friend around a month ago. The food was excellent, all fresh vegetables, beautiful roast lamb, really tasty and great portions. The staff were really friendly and there wasn't a long wait for our meal. We had a starter of prawn cocktail, that was delicious and again a big portion. The only problem was it was all so delicious and filling, we couldn't manage any of the lovely homemade desserts!!! Next time!! maybe no starter then a delicious dessert 😋 The Best Sunday Lunch around 😋

Had a sunday lunch again at the Helm. you cannot fault it. You get a great portion and great value and it tastes amazing. The creamy leeks are a favourite! The homemade cheesecake was amazing. I Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended but you will need to book.

Ate here today with my family and I can honestly say it is the best Sunday dinner I have had in a long time, the menu selection was amazing, as well as roasts they had separate kids menu, fish menu plus a vegie menu, and so much food came out, the deserts were also amazing highly recommended a***

Had an amazing Sunday lunch for father's Day.Meat was so tender and plentyful,veg was all fresh and tasty,Yorkshire huge and gravy just as I like it sticking to the spuds😊😊. Absolutely couldn't fault it the only thing wrong is I wish we had been there before.Cant recommend it enough.Staff despite being bowsed under were all smiling and very polite,well done and thank you.⭐⭐🌟🌟⭐

I can't say enough good things about the Helm the food is divine the service is impeccable. Made my sisters baby shower very special, always a great experience here. The food is also always incredible, their homemade chips are my favourite.

Omg where do I start. The Sunday lunch today was amazing. Piping hot and so much meat and vegetables. The staff were lovely and friendly. Will definitely be going back again soon.

A hidden gem in Pembroke Dock! First time visiting here and was really surprised. The lady behind the bar was lovely. Really friendly. Service was a little slow however, considering there were 2 other tables booked with quite a lare number of people, the staff did very well. The food was DELICIOUS!! Homemade chips which were superb. Portions are a very decent size and very well priced. I will definitely be visiting again and can't wait to introduce this place to my family.

4.7☆. Bit dissappointing beer selection. My view, it should sell at least one Ale. Had pulled pork, Beef burger. 9/10. Everything on the plate was fresh & homemade. I could have eaten just a plate of either it was all so good. No guerkin tho & lack of Ale loose's .3 points Service was slow, I put this down to all being cooked 'fresh', so overlooked waitin almost 1hr for food. Will go back

Great family room clean and spacious.

We have just had a super meal here tonight. Staff were very pleasent and the food was superb and plentiful. The fish pie, home made, was exceptional. Homemade chilli chutney with the hallumi fries was great. We will return.

Service very slow. Was sitting at a table by a window and there were cobwebs and a spider on the inside of the window right next to me.

Best Sunday Lunch, in a restaurant

It is such a rare thing these days to find home cooked food in a pub. Zero corners cut. First ate here for Sunday Roast. I had roast lamb and all the trimmings. Not a single item on the menu was processed or mass produced. Home made Yorkshires, lots of home made veg including creamy leeks, swede mash, home made roast potatoes, peas and carrots, topped off with a decent amount of gravy served in a gravy boat so you can pour your own. Tonight I had the garlic mushroom chicken with vegetables and chips. Best bit -they make home made chips. Not many places do that. Amazing food. Very friendly staff. And very nicely kept beer garden with flower pots and picnic benches. A gem in these parts 💎

Came here for dinner and had a very pleasant time! The staff were so friendly and polite, it didn’t matter that we were a bit early for our table and we were seated very quickly. The food arrived in good time and was hearty and extremely well cooked. Would have liked to try the homemade desserts but didn’t have any room left! Will definitely return as this was our favourite restaurant to visit from our weekly trip to Pembrokeshire. Would recommend to everyone.

I had booked a table for 19 family members. We pre-ordered our food as is their policy for large bookings. The food was lovely, piping hot and plenty of it. The desserts were huge and a good varied choice. The Helm is multi roomed and has a nice vibe to it and the staff were lovely. Overall we had a great time and would definitely go again.
