Walk through the door and you get a fantastic welcome. The owners are friendly and helpful, and when the food arrives everyone was so happy - it was absolutely delicious. Can’t recommend Poons enough!

Went for dinner with family - the steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked. From the outside the pub looks a bit innocuous but great chef and lovely friendly staff.

Lovely setting and decor. Friendly and accommodating staff. All the family, 6 adults and 3 kids, had Sunday roast dinner and pudding. Food very tasty and plenty of it especially the gravy. Will have no hesitation in returning to Caffi Traeth. Excellent.

Such a cute little cafe, beautiful paintings on the walls and the light decor is so lovely. The breakfast was amazing! So fresh and delicious, coffee was also very nice, staff were very friendly, will definitely be back

My husband and I stopped here for a to go lunch while on our NC500 drive. We both ordered a deli sandwich and homemade chips. We both raved about our meals and how great the sandwiches were

A very comfortable room, with friendly and helpful hosts. A choice of breakfasts either cooked or continental. We had the continental which had a large warm croissant and a lovely selection of fruit, together with homemade yogurt which was delicious. Everything you would want in a B&B

My new favourite place to eat, quality ingredients, lovely kind friendly staff, delicious food, massive portions (I’m eating the leftovers at home now) So nice to have easy access with loads of parking and vanilla custard slices that are so big they look like they are meant for the whole family. I’m an ex chef and I can honestly say this is simple food done to a standard that is unbeaten in the area. In these tough times it’s a treat to eat out for many but at least you won’t be disappointed here

Just rounded off a lovely day in Pendine & Laugharne with a stunning Thai meal in Poon’s. We had skewers, Pad Thai & Beef curry - all cooked freshly to perfection. The flavours were excellent, beef was ‘melt in the mouth’, prawns were meaty & tender. To cap it all, the welcome was glowing (unlike the cold, damp, windy evening). Also, great value. Thank you so much.

I've been cycling around England, Wales and Ireland this summer and this is the single best coffee I've had, by a long shot! Is that a pun ?

We had lunch in The Coffee Shop during our stay walking the coastline, and we can thoroughly recommend eating here as the food was very tasty and well served. Polite and friendly owners/staff, who care about their food. Would definitely visit again.

Fabulous food, staff, ambience, view and value for Money! From the moment you step inside you feel welcome and treated like a valued customer (rare these days). We had a lovely table by the window with a fabulous views out over the bay. Good choice of drinks with a reasonably priced beer on draught and lovely New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. We weren’t rushed, nice to be able to finish starter course before ordering mains. The meal was of the highest quality, one of the best we’ve had and at a reasonable price! The staff were respectful, friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone at Lotus for making our meal with you so memorable. We are looking forward to coming back again soon! They mentioned they are closed from 27Jan25 to 1Mar25 so check it’s open…
