We have had great chips here in the past, yummy curry sauce and catch of the day fish. But during our weekend stay just couldn't find out from anywhere when they would be open. 😟 Common you can really do better! It's 2023, even if you change your hours spontaneously you can still post it, it only takes 1 minute .

Lovely fish and chips and nice cappuccino,good reasonable prices. Not like prices on sands holiday complex.

Lovely food. Atmosphere was good, staff extremely friendly. Water provided for bertie and had 2 sausages with our food.

Visited the new restaurant scoops today and was looking forward to a lovely treat. First off the welcome by the gentleman who served us can only be described as he wasn’t bothered about us being there. I ordered a Nutella crepe, on arrival it was placed in a triangle cardboard container. I can only describe it as a thick pancake. I asked the said gentleman if it came with anything as the picture I saw had cream and strawberries. He was quite abrupt in saying well what did you think it came with? And stated they were add ons . The cost of the dessert was £3.79 and on leaving I checked the menu and it should have come with whipped cream. Quite honestly it felt like an inconvenience to him that we were there. I shall not be returning.

Absolutely fabulous. Fantastic service. Clean rooms. Very well presented. You can feel like, Lord of the manor. Friendly helpful host. 5 minutes from Pendine Sands. Best value so far . 1200 miles.

Woman serving was so rude seems I’m not the only one that has this opinion looking at the reviews, don’t go here have no idea what is her problem there are plenty of other small businesses in the area to support that are nice and friendly it’s really unfortunate she was so rude. Also very unclean and unhygienic. Food tasted gross.

We came here for ice cream. It took them more than 30 minutes to bring the ice cream, and we had to remind them. They seemed surprised as if they forgot about our order. They said they were busy, but the restaurant was mostly empty. Ice creams came, in a tiny bowl - with a very tiny scoop. Absolutely not worth the price. The waiter also did not say a word. He just came and placed the bowls down, didn't even acknowledge us. He didn't even bring any spoons for the ice cream. We had to go back and get our own. We're not asking for much, these are all basic things that should've been delivered. Disappointing.

50/50 on the food, the easy simple stuff like chips and chicken dippers was obviously freshly deep fried but everything else else came out the microwave which we could hear pinging every 2 mins as we waited for food, the salad was also quite dire, no complaints about the staff though as he was very friendly and welcoming. Ok for a quick stop for some cheap grub but definitely not worth a trip out for.
