A very comfortable room, with friendly and helpful hosts. A choice of breakfasts either cooked or continental. We had the continental which had a large warm croissant and a lovely selection of fruit, together with homemade yogurt which was delicious. Everything you would want in a B&B

Would highly recommend this B and B. Hosts were very welcoming and provided us with everything needed for our short break. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Delicious homemade vegetarian options for breakfast and excellent value for money. Will be booking again very soon.

The Boat House B&B is close to the access path to Dylan Thomas' writing shed. While on the main road, we did not have trouble with noise. The room was very large and comfortable. Keith and Jane are lovely hosts and could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, with locally sourced eggs and garden fresh tomatoes. I especially enjoyed Keith's special hash browns.

From the moment we booked we were provided with information re parking and the high tides expected. Jane also provided us with tele number of Fountain Inn in the village for a meal( unfortunately thet were not opening in the eveing for meals. On arrival we were greeted and shown our room and the facilities i Information about local area was no trouble to Keith and there was plenty of leaflets available including local walks The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, everything had been thought of ironing board and iron, hairdryer, and even an umbrella was in the room (not needed) Tea and coffee facilities including fresh milk ( a nice change from UHT) was available from the breakfast area. The delicious breakfast was freshly cooked to order and the home made vegetarian sausage was a pleasant revelation. On Easter Sunday on return to our room the Easter Bunny had left us an egg on our pillow! A pleasant relaxing break shall certainly return in the future

We had a lovely night here in July, the room was much larger than it looked from the outside, and had everything we wanted. Excellent, friendly hosts, offering a tasty breakfast. The Boat House is in a very convenient location for all the attractions of Laugharne; the castle, Dylan Thomas' boathouse and lots of country walks. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we visit this neighbourhood again.

What a fantastic surprise here ! After a night in Tenby we moved onto Laugharne and checked into The Boat House B&B, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A wonderful welcome from our hosts Jane & Keith with tea and cake offered pretty much as we walked through the door, just 4 superbly appointed and spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds and everything laid on including an emergency umbrella! Well lovely or not the Welsh weather is what it is eh? Contemporary and yet charming in the heart of the village you really can't go wrong . Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and best quality local produce. 100% will be back.

I'm a pretty detailed planner but for this quick trip I went with my gut and booked The Boathouse after reading only a couple of reviews. I'm SO glad I did! Keith and Jane are new owners and their enthusiasm for Laugharne is contagious! I absolutely wanted for nothing and can't say enough about the location of this B&B. Laugharne is small enough that you can walk from just about anywhere but The Boat House B&B has a front row view of the castle and is right around the corner from several of the restaurants. Truly can't beat the location. Breakfast is made to order and the fresh fruit and yoghurt was very tasty as well. I stayed in the largest room, the Purple Suite, but I toured the rest and they are all very nice sized and wonderfully kept. I highly recommend this B&B and am looking forward to seeing Keith and Jane again sometime! Not sure why this is coming up under restaurant instead of B&B's but will try to post there as well.

The Boathouse is a nice comfortable guest house with a warm welcome from anne, comfortable beds and all you'd expect in terms of free biscuits, bottled water, toiletries etc. The breakfasts are superb; good selection of fruit, cereal, muffins and then the hot stuff cooked to order using good quality ingredients. The property is right on the street and the guest rooms are all at the front which gave us concerns about traffic noise but the road isn't busy & the double glazing works well.

Only came across this hidden cafe with a community spirited hostess on our way back to South Wales & were smitten by how friendly and accommodating they were. If anyone in your group has a hidden need, for example avoiding cafes with a cabinet full of coca cola cans, Croes y Ceiliog at Llanwrda has the solution, making you feel like a family member. Their tasty home made food too = return visit a definite!

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

Plenty of parking, I liked the layout which didn’t put you too close to other diners and not cramped, amazing views and good ambiance, the service was spot on and the food was of a very good standard, plentiful and all arrived hot and beautiful presented. My first time visiting here, definitely won’t be the last and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Called in here at the weekend for a takeaway meal to enjoy on the beach, the food was far better than I expected, thought this was just a greasy spoon but I was very wrong. The cake especially was lovely. Will definitely be spending more of my money here rather than st elli bay from now on.
