The best restaurants in Drybridge Monmouthshire South Wales

Nice hot cup of coffee, managed to find a seat even though they were very busy. Reasonably priced when compared to coffee chains. Service with a smile too which was a bonus!

Popped in for lunch whilst in Monmouth visiting family.Very friendly staff...lovely lunch.My husband and son had sandwiches whilst I had a lovely quiche and salad.We took cake away with us to have in our hotel later on.Would Definately visit again.

So pleased we found this little bakers while on a visit to Monmouth. The Cornish pasties are excellent, plenty of filling and just the right amount of seasoning. Were able to sit outside, with our dog, and chat to the friendly locals at the next table. The staff were great to :) Would definitely visit again if in the area!

We purchased some goodies from their stall during an event. The cob was rustic and delicious and the vegan sausage rolls are probably the best we've ever eaten. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to try the yummy looking cakes because the dog stole them from the kitchen worktop. Due to the cake containing currants, we then had a horrible time at the vets waiting to see if this had impacted on her kidney function. I messaged the bakery for information about the ingredients of the cake and they were super helpful. They continued to show compassion and interest in the welfare of our pooch, who thankfully came out the other side healthy. They were even kind enough to offer us some free cake. Hoping we can visit in person one day.

Very, very dry baguette, didn't seem fresh at all. So disappointing. Not much filling either. Won't be returning.

A great coffee shop with good food. The cakes are delicious and all homemade, and the sandwiches are great too. The staff there are always so polite and keen to help. It's become our favourite place to stop.

Had the meal for 2 on Saturday as a sit down. Food was amazing and large portions, we ended taking some home. Service was amazing, will definitely be back

I ordered the meze from the vegan menu. This is my first choice at Portivo. The meze arrived without homous pomegranate seeds and Persian grains The greenery was just shredded cabbage. The server got me some homous and pomegranate seeds when I told her. This is the second time this has happened. How can they serve this without half the ingredients? No homous no seeds or grains. The first time I was given a credit note but I felt too embarrassed to complain a second time. However. I will not be returning to Estero. It's a rip off ..

Staff were rude 😒 😤 and unhelpful. They were more concerned about daily gossip.

Called in to eat with a friend. I need to avoid gluten. The menu was confusing. I could not work out which foods would be suitable. The waiter didnt understand the allergens at all and didnt even seem to understand the menu notes on allergens. I did not feel I could eat safely and so we left without ordering. Please, please arrange staff training on allergens in foods.

Had a takeaway from here and OMG the food was fantastic cooked to perfection chicken strips were incredible all food came hot and to the right taste we ordered definitely will be back

This branch of Wetherspoons is really good for food - service is fast and the food is properly cooked and well presented. It's our favourite one!

It's closed, all boarded up. The manager of our hotel tells us it has been like that for a couple of years.
