The best restaurants in Caerphilly South Wales

Always ordered from here as the food has always been great. However, I’d much rather honesty in being able to fulfil orders - don’t bother quoting within an hour if I’m still sat here waiting over 2 hours later!!! Seriously disappointed as I’ve got family over and this has ruined the evening - thanks!

I would.like to thank the Maes Manor Hotel & Wedding Venue for the amazing service, from the staff and for the amazing food we had at my wife's 50th birthday last night it was fantastic. Thank you, I definitely 150% recommend you to anyone.

It gave me the poos! The cheap, low quality breakfast (cheap sausages, cheap hash browns etc) arrived swimming in oil. It must have been old oil as an hour later it gave me the the worst upset stomach in recent memory. Its also very run down and tatty with a smell of oil and fat feom the kitchen waffting through. I will not be going back.

This pub is now called the Gelli bear o know how stupid. We came here Mother’s Day o never seen such carnage disorganised team ever . Shambles no food after 2 hrs when we seen the garlic bread with dairy lea slices on maybe it wasn’t a bad thing avoid

Went to the haven last night avnt been there for a long time a new owner is taking over in the next 2 weeks and what a lovely person she is wish them all the very best and really hope she gets rid of the dead wood and brings her own team in.

Absolutely terrible food didn't even eat it asked for extra bean sprouts but didn't get them I will never order from here again food was freezing not even my dog would eat it shocking from what it used to be

I've ordered from here quite a few times. Its average at best really. The food is pretty decent most of the time but its highly let down by delivery times.There's been quite a few times I've had to call up to chase the order or its been delayed, One time I ordered at 9PM and it didn't arrive till 12, Not really acceptable considering I live about 15 minutes away from the place. Also most of the time I've recently tried to order they've been closed, Despite being within there opening hours and being marked as open on FoodHub and JustEat. Honestly I'd just go to domino's instead, They are always on time and really quick delivery. Only giving 3 stars as I do like the food.

Great coffee shop food is always fresh and staff are excellent very clean shop - dogs allowed (paws on floor) and everyone is respectful of this

This place has REALLY gone downhill. I used to get cheese and coleslaw baguettes, which came with lots of grated cheese. I ordered a couple of weeks ago and it was a tiny amount of melted cheese with warm coleslaw. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were previously good, so I ordered again today. Now the cheese is a couple of slices of the orange plastic American cheese that comes in sachets. I’ve never seen that from anywhere before. I think at this point I’m just going to stop ordering from there.

Food is good but both drinks and food are quite expensive for Caerphilly, more like Cardiff prices. Staff are always really friendly, the atmosphere is good although it would be nice if they changed the starting acts songs around for open Mic (every Wednesday) not in staff control that one!!
