My favourite Chinese! Wouldn't go anywhere else!

First time going here and I'll definitely be going back! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, good was great too

Ordered King prawns in garlic and butter sauce. Recieved a tub of nasty yellow sauce with chunks of raw garlic and soggy battered king prawns. Took one bite and chucked the rest. Gross and disgusting.

The food is lovely... When it finally arrives. The last 3 times we've ordered, it's been over an hour late, and despite repeated calls to them where we're assured 'it's on the way', we still wait upwards of another 30 minutes. It's really disappointing, as the food is great - but I like to eat my meal within the same evening as I've ordered it, not hours and hours later. When you also add in the fact that we spend upwards of £30 each time, the service is just not good enough.

A great Chinese Takeaway/delivery, ingredients taste and look fresh and very tasty, for a Chinese Cuisine in Caerphilly, you cannot beat it.

My new go to for Chinese takeaway. Food is always lovely delivered early and always piping hot. You can't beat it, definetly the best place about. I highly recommend everyone try their food at least once and it will be better than any place about.

On holiday in Caerphilly and looking for good takeaway. Wasn’t to impressed with the neglected look of Dragon City takeaway which was close by. However decided to trust the reviews it had. Ordered online and the food was brilliant. Sweet & sour chicken balls best we have ever had. Other dishes Shezuan Chicken and ginger and spring onion chicken were also well received. Meal was ready on time. We would definitely recommend this takeaway.

just had £30 odd pounds worth of rubbish food couldnt tell if it was meat or wood cant be bothered to write more

Reccommend the hot & sour and the wonton soups, the starters and lettuce wraps are really good too

Placed my order at 19:20 and it finally arrived at 9:45!! With no update from staff until i requested one! Woman was rude on the phone and just replied with a "its on its way, just patience"... and when it arrived the order was wrong and extremely salty i couldnt finish it, i have requested a refund but have not yet recieved it. Will not be going back

Fabulous food! We have a local Chinese and as it was closed tonight decided to try and new one and was so impressed. Our children thought it was lovely and every dish tasted authentic,we have Chinese friends who cook for us and this was on par. Will definitely order again. Great food and delivery. Thank you! Chicken fried rice and the chicken balls were really nice. The staff were very polite and friendly. The food was very tasty and I would highly recommend to family and friends. The price was also average

Delivery over an hour late no apology food was ok not very hot as it was so late

The women is always lovely and smiling and the food is amazing, it's the only place I eat at now. Would definitely recommend Dragon city 100%, delivery is also good I dont think they have ever been late.

The best Chinese by far. I’ve travelled and lived in China and love Chinese food. The service is great and so is the food. It is not the cheapest because you get great quality. I’ll keep coming back.

We had a selection - a chicken curry, fried rice, stewed mushrooms, bean curd with vegetables and seaweed. All well cooked and delicious . I will be back

My new favourite chinese now. Full of flavours, quality is not the best, but the flavours are unbeatable for most towns around the area. Very friendly staff/owners, always smiling. Very nice people. My new regular Chinese now. And I live nearly 5 miles away!

I called in here for a quick takeaway the other day - when I first entered I didn't know if I was in someone's front room or something at first as the restaraunt part has now gone and it's one big room with a tv and sofas and there was a young lad having his tea in there watching the tv. Anyway, the owner and the little lad were super friendly and I ordered the 'all in one tray' dishes - one with chicken curry and rice, and the other with the crispy shredded beef on egg fried rice and chips. I have to say the crispy shredded beef dish was absolutely superb, I think the best I've had! So crispy and tasty, and loads of it. I would definitely go back and have that again, I'd like to try some of the other things too if it matches up to that as it was really lovely.

Omg just had a delivery meal which was quite expensive . One of my items was a steak. Never have I ever been delivered by anyone such an horrendous meal. Steak, I could not even cut into it. No taste, absolute leather. I tried picking it up to bite it. Not even chewable. I rang only to be told the manager would not speak with me, that is the way they cook steak. Could not cut, in chewable and no taste. I totally have wasted money with nothing in return and when I complained attitude terrible

Take away meal for 86 people we collected on a Sunday. We had a selection of dishes ,catering for every taste, piping hot freshly cooked.

Nice food nice people running it, but they no longer do seat down meals only take aways. So a little disappointed as we travelled a long way as we sat in before for a meal.

Food was delayed firstly for 25 mins then they were late by another 10 mins on the extended time given. Called and told the food was in the car and would be there in 15 mins called back 25 mins later and told it was still in the kitchen. The woman hung up on me and acted like a complete child at a legitimate complaint completely unprofessional. When you are spending a Saturday night in and just want a good quick and easy Chinese this is not the one to use. Just ordered with another down the road and they have got the food ready on 20 mins. Complete joke don’t waste your time especially if you’re hungry!

We ordered food at 7.30. It arrived at 9.45. We phoned to ask where the food was and were not offered apologies or complimentary fortune cookies (if only we’d had them before ordering, we might have been forewarned). Food was ok, but we were so hungry by that point we would have eaten anything. If they had told us about the LONG wait when booking, we’d have gone elsewhere. Poor customer service.

I usually use Dragon City when ordering a Chinese but I always collect as you have to spend quite a lot before they will deliver and have found that you can be waiting quite a while for it to be delivered.The food is always really nice and the staff are really friendly. Very really have any reason to complain when using Dragon City.

Good food fast delivery 👍 offers average prices for this type of cuisine located in a great part of caerphilly town just on the out skirts of Morrison's only rating three stars as when trying to order a few days later after collecting in person the order was abit messed up and didn't give receipt even after making clear I needed one

Grandes porciones, barato y muy agradable. La salsa de curry, huevo frito era increíble, era un poco sosa, pero aún así estaba bien.Un gran servicio al cliente. Recomendaría pedir desde aquí.

Pedimos una última noche para llevar. Llegó en la hora indicada y estaba bien caliente.La comida era fabulosa y muy sabroso. La carne satay no tienen un montón de cebolla en la mitad de la comida (sin embargo) que como era mi comida de socios y que no acate ellas no fue genial.Pedido de nuevo pero pedir menos de ciertos alimentos en la comida la próxima vez.

I really love the salt and chilli ribs! Loads of other goodies though with great satay chicken and lovely duck in plum sauce.

Caerphilly has a lot of really good eat outs this is not one of them. Food has left a horrible taste in my mouth. So dissatisfied

We moved to Caerphilly 3 years ago from Cardiff where we were spoilt for takeaways.It took us a while to find a Chinese takeaway that was decent. We have ordered delivery many times and never been disappointed. The squid is salt and chilli is fantastic.

La comida es buena. Yo tenía una para llevar. Fui a recoger. La decoración en ese lugar es un total desastre. Había un mensaje emergente de campaña con un niño zapatos fuera. Yo no podría decidir si había un niño. El lugar estaba helada! Pero la comida estaba bien. No vayas allí para una comida. Sólo llevar!

Had home delivery last night....when ordering had a happy lovely lady on the end of the phone....food didn't take long and as I was removing food from the bag I had a phone call from the above lady saying "we have forgotten to send ur free diet coke and im sending another driver to drop it off to you now ".....fab service and fab food (loads left over as amazing portions)....will be defo ordering again....thanx

Leave this place even if your starving.worst Chinese we have ever had.shredded beef was over flowing with onions no taste on the beef.curry sauce was like cream not like curry at all.bbq sauce was like jelly.chips were soggy.....prawn crackers were ok though so £17 for a packet of prawn crackers....tastless

After my food order was 20 minutes late, I discovered that the wrong order had been delivered. Phoned to inform them then had to wait a further 10 minutes for the right order. Not happy.

Lovely food however took 2 hours to arrive and after numerous attempts to call we kept getting "driver left 5mins ago" Delivery driver then couldn't find our address, tried explaining and just wouldn't bother so we had to walk down the street to collect our food.

The food was quick to arrive but some of it was unfortunately spiced to the point you could only taste the spices. The house special rice, soup and chicken balls were quick good though.

Only spoiled as asked for plain curry and had to spend 10 minutes picking out the onions peas and carrots, fortunately I don't have an allergy and was able to enjoy it, eventually!
