Bake Station in Caerphilly

Very poor service I would not recommend ordering from here! Ordered online where they said delivery was available to then accept the order and cancel it 5 minutes later after taking my money also not getting my money back straight away for a big order very unhappy!

40 minutes late, everything was that was meant to be hot was completely stone cold, no explanation or apology driver just rushed off, absolute waste of £35.

Value for money wasn’t great. Quality of the food was very low.

chips was stale and cold but tasted nice.burger was nice, it stayed hot. I paid under £8 odd for that meal. I added on bbq chicken wings which was £9.80. It turned up and it was just 5 small sfc chicken wings spicy batter covered in bbq sauce??

Ordered from bake station for the first time after hearing good things about it. Food took 2 hours to arrive. Ordered a full English baguette & replaced it with toast, without any reasoning. Mushrooms were burnt & undercooked? Food arrived cold; quality of food was dreadful. Overall a cuisine I won’t order from again.

Although it was late, the food was amazing and hot! Proper bacon, sausages and eggs were cooked perfectly! these reviews are a cheap blow. Will definitely order again in the future. Ordered on JustEat, driver was welcoming and polite!

Excellent quality food at affordable prices. Juicy fresh beef burger with tasty salad and crispy chips. Chicken burger was moist and crispy,full of flavour and cooked well. Thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter and myself. Will definitely be ordering again.

Food is excellent but taking more than 1.5 hours to deliver at lunchtime is unacceptable. Orders shouldn't be accepted if they don't have the drivers available to deliver

Order from here at least once per week and never an issue, today we had items missing, cold wet soggy food nothing like the standards we have had over the last 2 years of ordering from here not sure what's happened but it was terrible

I really used to love bake station … I’m guessing it’s just a problem with the drivers recently really disappointing last time I ordered it came cold no issue I just threw it in the microwave .but this time I ordered it did not even turn up … absolutely gutted :(

Was so disappointed with this. When the food did finally arrive after taking nearly 2 hours to get to us it was stone cold. There was no communication about the fact the delivery driver couldn't find out house and the lamb burger was so spicy but didn't state this on the menu. Tried to get a refund but restaurant declined so won't be going here again.

Ordered 2 burgers and chips. Took over two hours to arrive, and when it did, I had to go looking for the driver who was in the wrong street. Arrived stone cold and soggy

I wil never get food there again after a genuine mistake I ordered food for delivery but I was told it has been there for have hour already that was at 10pm I finally had after paying extra 3.00 for delivery at 12 and that food sat there in the warmer for the last 3 hours the food was hard the runny egg was solid so no they were no help would not le me have refund and order again oh there was 2 slices off mushrooms over over cooked disgusting had to warm my coffee in microwave it was so cold lol so 16 quid was a waste they normally nice very small portions but nice but I won't buy from there again the woman could off helped me in the begining inside of making me ring her 3-4 times

Dont order from here!!!!! They dont deliver on time and it was cold. There menu is not correct. I ordered bacon baguatte and they send me turkey bacon baguatte. They could make this clearly in there menu. Its a waste of money!

Took almost three hours for three baguettes, two of the “bacon” ones were freezing cold with three tiny, cold, fatty pieces of turkey rashers - I hate leaving bad reviews but I don’t even know what to say worst £22 I’ve ever spent

Went on a quiet weekday the seating area was clean and relaxing. We ordered 2 meal deals. Food was good quality saw the staff wearing gloves which we appreciated. Service was quick and easy. Paying was a bit weird but didn't cause much issue. Have ordered before online but this was our first time visiting. Would come again!

I visited Bake station today on my lunch break. The baguette I ordered was really tasty. I will be visiting again. The place was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommended it.

Ordered for delivery and I put on the notes in CAPITAL LETTERS let me add that wha I wanted on the salad because it wouldn’t let me choose on Uber eats, it came with all the stuff I don’t want so I threw it all in the bin. START READING YOUR NOTES THATS WHAT THEIR THERE FOR!!! Definitely won’t be ordering there again

The lady on the phone was polite but it doesn’t changed the fact the I ordered for delivery at 12:54 and it turned up at 14:25 with the wrong fillings in the baguettes massively disappointed won’t be ordering from here again! I could of quite literally drove and had a meal in England by the time my order arrived!

So I’m a new bus driver and new to Caerphilly. Had a 2 hour break to kill so wanted to try this place. Sat down and a lady cleaned my table for me and gave me a menu and said she’ll come back in a few minutes but different lady came back about 10 minutes later to take my order. Ordered a latte with extra shot and she told me I should have a cappuccino because it’s stronger. So basically ended up with a weak cappuccino ! Ordered an omelette with sweet potato fries instead of fries that it came with. The coffee came out and the lady didn’t say anything to me. Just put it down. I took a sip and burnt 🔥 the inside and roof of my mouth. Anyway. Food came out about 10 minutes after the coffee and when I start to eat it i couldn't really enjoy it because my mouth being burnt. Food was ok Though

Service took well over 1hr , I'm not impressed , yes they refunded me but they lack of service is unreal

New to Caerphilly and found Bake Station next to Railway Station and Bus Station walking around. Two shops set out like a local Cafe. Ordered Full English, lunch time mid week and empty? Large with two of everything, all looked a bit strange, like ready dished up and then micro waved on the plate. Could not recognise the sausages, bacon or mushrooms, so left most of it will walk past next time.

The girl who served us was lovely and friendly, that unfortunately, was the nicest thing I could say about our experience here. The owner was sat in the cafe and not just ignored us but turned his back on us! The "cappuccino" was awful, it looked like a flat White and tasted weak. My breakfast was awful, the sausage were cheap and nasty and I'm not entirely convinced they were meat, the bacon was also cheap and nasty turkey rashers, all in all bland and tasteless. My husband ordered a cheese and ahem, "bacon" panini, it was again bland and tasteless. I can only say that if you advertise bacon, it should be bacon. Dreadful, would not recommend this place at all. The only pluses to our visit was that it was clean and the waitress was lovely.

Pleasant staff member. Food was reasonable price and piping hot. Salad in panini looked fresh. Personally I didn't like the cheese used on the chips but that's me. Bacon baguette looked great. Everyone tucked in happily. Would go back. Conveniently located opposite train station and bus station.

So haven't had this is a while i Ordered 3 meals two kids and one for my self..the kids meals.. they were a joke on size it wouldn't even fill a 2 year old. Food come cold. My kids didn't want to eat them and I spend over 18 pound for this

Customer service brilliant. Can't fault it, wait time was fine. I asked for a bacon baguette, absolutely vile. Doesn't look or taste like bacon. Tea was fine.

Only recently discovered Bake Station. I can only review on coffee and panini's as that's all we've tried. We didn't like the coffee but the panini's are excellent. We've had several. Excellent value for money, freshly made, soft and plenty of filling. Friendly staff too.

Disappointed as food was late supposed to arrive at 2:55 and arrived at 3:27 also i asked for cherry tango and got orange instead

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day and yesterday I thought I'd try the "Bake Station" in Cearphilly. I love to start of with a possitive, and I can definitely say that the staff are very friendly. I placed my order online and then went to collect. I was only staying a walk away from there so I walked over just after I'd ordered. When I got back I relised an Item of my order was missing so had to call them, it turns out they had forgotten to place my extra item in with the bag. So after going back over and retrieving my item I was ready to eat. I ordered a full English Breakfast as I thought you couldn't really go wrong with a classic... Boy was I WRONG. The beans were very obviously tinned and they managed to overcook them, the Sausages had a funny play-doe like taste and texture. I moved onto the bacon hoping that this could be the meat that saves the meal, again I was let down instantly the Bacon was truly Bizarre it stated and had the texture of Raw ham, was stone cold also. The hash browns were soggy but bareable. Honestly this was not the breakfast experience I was hoping for. It's truly awful that they could charge £7 for this meal. A store that looks like a lovely place to grab breakfast but in reality is a poor poor attempt at a classic meal. When I had enough of my meal I thought to myself "what's the best way to describe this food?" and I came up with the perfect sentence: It's like the artificial food you'd eat if you were going to Mars and had to replicate meals with chemicals.

Food was delicious and good value. Delivery was estimated to be 50 mins, but arrived in 30 mins. Opened the door to be greeted by the happiest delivery driver. Keep up the good work Bakestation.Will definitely use you again and recommend to others

Really disappointed in the food from here. The bacon was honestly disgusting, I couldn't eat it at all. The cheese and beans chips had no flavour and the very little bean sauce so it was just so dry. all of the food has very little or no flavour and was cold by the time it reached me. I won't be ordering again, waste of money as I quite literally couldn't eat it

Have used these multiple times for delivery orders. Absolutely fantastic food, fresh and tasty and delivered on time. Highly recommend them! A jewel in the crown of Caerphilly for some decent healthy (well providing you're not addicted to the delicious burgers they do like me) take away food!.
