I was skeptical I would like it because I’m not used to the foods here in the UK yet… but the Chicken Uno Burger is something else!!! I loved it so much that I think I’ll spend these two weeks ordering it every time I go there! I wouldn’t even try anything else. It’s crunchy with excellent proportion of chicken to bun, and the toppings match extremely well. The staff is very friendly & helpful as well!

This restaurant has only been open since April '24 as I understand it, however, many of the reviews are from a previous restaurant with the same name. This is extremely misleading as the reviews suggest A 4.5 star rating which really couldn't be further from the truth. The grounds around the building look beautiful but once you get closer you can see the sad tired building and the interior is worse. The crisp white table cloths on the photos were replaced with bare tables and sticky homemade table mats. It's very much a 'this will do' interior. The owner was very friendly but didn't seem to know how to run a restaurant which is surprising as I understand he has done for many years. No plates cleared so we had to balance one plate on another to eat. Plastic water glasses which should have been thrown away. Questionable quality/freshness of poppadoms and sauces. Portion sizes, very small. One of our party was given chips with a congealed white sauce which was supposed to be cheesy chips. Another had coconut chicken with no coconut. I could go on. Needless to say, we won't go back.

Called for a drink, friendly leading us to the table, drinks were expensive and when I went inside to look for the loo the owner was very ‘off’ the place needs a good scrub down. Glad we weren’t eating there after I’d seen the toilet hygiene

Visited the last inn for lunch. Was extremely disappointed, I ordered a ploughman’s. I have eaten here on numerous occasions in the past when in Barmouth. This was one of my favourite lunch time choices. The ploughman’s was always wonderful with Snowdonia cheeses, lovely meat, pate, nice fresh bread, pickled onions, chutney etc.. presented on a large board. This time the price has increased with little choice, only smoked cheese no Snowdonia cheeses, very limited in three items you could choose. The bread was a very cold, dry ciabatta which was just terrible. This is not a ploughman’s anymore!! Washed money will not eat here again extremely expensive, for poor quality food.

Stopped in for a quick beer on the way back to the camp site as the heavens opened, very busy little bar area which I believe is only open in the evening. Friendly staff & customers, nice beers only thing to be aware of is that you have to have a seat or you can't be served apparently, something one of the staff told me so that I could grab a seat quickly which was very nice of her. Would come back here again maybe to try the food
