A lovely large cafe upstairs from.the Portmeirion shop. The staff are friendly and efficient and the items available to order are on open display. A thoroughly recommended place for a coffee and a bun, or a cooked meal.should you want it.

This is a lovely pub. We stayed for 3 nights, had breakfast every day and an evening meal on each evening. The room was very comfortable and the meals were very good. The staff could not have been more helpful, unobtrusive but all of them friendly. We intend to return. Mae rhan fwyaf o staff yn siarad cymraeg - cyfle i ymarfer yr iaith!

Amazing little find on the outskirts of Abersoch. We sat outside and was served by the wonderful Sue. She was so friendly and helpful. The menu had great choice and the food was so fresh. Best coffee in Wales !

We had such a great meal here we went back again 2 days later. The bar was busy both nights, dogs welcome. Friendly staff, fast service of the food. Large choice of specials. We had sweet and sour beef which came with prawn crackers, beef tagine with garlic bread. With each main we then had loads of choices of what we wanted it served with, but chips and rice was an easy choice. Food very well presented, delicious and filling. Good choice of traditional puddings. It's an informal eating venue with a pool table as well. We strongly recommend this as high quality, excellent value food.

Called for a drink, friendly leading us to the table, drinks were expensive and when I went inside to look for the loo the owner was very ‘off’ the place needs a good scrub down. Glad we weren’t eating there after I’d seen the toilet hygiene

Toda mi familia (los 17 de nosotros) acaba de disfrutar de otro magnífico banquete vegetariano del Sitar. La comida estaba caliente, y absolutamente delicioso. También tenía un precio muy realista para una comida tan buena y auténtica, que valía cada centavo. Todo el mundo en The Sitar es súper servicial, amable y eficiente. No puedo recomendarlos demasiado.

Wow wow wow stayed here for a night instead of camping due to a bad storm forecast Had the family penthouse on top floor fantastic decor very clean and cosy. Staff was really pleasant and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Evening meal was excellent and more than we could eat and very reasonably priced, the breakfast was fab and plentiful. Thanks to all the staff that made our brief stay so enjoyable. It is definitely the best value for money in Barmouth Graham and Beverley

Vinimos aquí después de un día ocupado en Zipworld y la comida era preciosa. Recomendaría el curry y el arroz, así que muy agradable! Personal amable y agradable también

…and other assorted bakery products, this is clearly a Criccieth institution judging by busy it was. My beef bun and chicken tikka bun were both delicious and my apple and rhubarb crumble for afters was just as tasty.

Fuimos anoche, llegamos a la hora reservada de las 7. 00 pm esperó una buena media hora antes de que nuestro pedido de bebidas y alimentos se tomó a las 8 . 00 mi esposa preguntó cuándo nos servirían ya que ni siquiera habíamos tomado nuestras bebidas. Starter finalmente llegó alrededor de las 8. 15 . Nuestra red llega después de otra queja después de las 9. 00 . No éramos los únicos en el restaurante con problemas de servicio. Parece que las comidas para llevar tienen prioridad. Dicho esto, la comida era excelente muy fresca y sabrosa. Les daría una segunda oportunidad debido a la comida, pero necesitan concentrarse en el servicio de restaurante.

Very busy - lovely coffee & scones Such a shame that people feel the need to bring dogs into eating places - more like a "doggy playground.".......can't believe their mentality.

We just wanted something quick and convenient and were delighted by the quality of the curried chick pea and veg pasty. We are quite particular healthy eaters who can, though, be relaxed about such things when the need arises. But these were moist, delicious, veg filled, wholemeal pastry and ticked a lot of boxes. Washed down with a big cup of tea. The puds also looked good, especially the almond cake, but we managed to resist because the pasties were spot on.

Fantastic food, value for money. Staff and students are amazing!

Tiny ice cream shop, just after crossing the bridge on the right hand side, serving up a great selection of local flavoured (Glasu) ice creams. Rhubarb crumble in particular was delicious!

Started off with Courage Directors. A really good pint here. Had to have a second just to be sure. The fish pie was superb. Recommend this place for drinks, dinner or both.
