Lovely friendly welcome. It’s been renovated since our last visit, many years ago. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was great too.

Outstanding food - everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Food was fresh, well cooked and beautifully presented. Lots of choice. Great service too. It was so good we returned for a second time.

Lovely, tasty food and well presented. First class customer service from all the staff. Great ambience. The pub has been tastefully refurbished but still has a homely feel to it. Excellent amenity for the local community. Well worth a visit. Diolch yn fawr.

We visited as a family of seven after our usual restaurant in the area was unexpectedly closed. I’m glad it was. It was a quiet Tuesday evening, but the atmosphere was still very warm. We took our dog who was very welcome in the back room. The food was beautiful, the staff were warm and welcoming. We all cleared our plates and went home happy.

My daughter and her husband and 2 children took me here for supper. We all had a lovely meal couldn't fault it. Delicious puddings too. As a housekeeping Manager of 2 busy holiday parks I'm always looking at cleanliness of places, and I couldn't fault a thing. The ladies toilets were gleaming..well impressed 👏. Keep up the good work everyone your a credit to the area..

Always lovely to eat in a family run business. The Lion has changed hands after many years in the hands of a local family … but it’s managed to keep that same old tradition. Simple foods, cooked well, good portions and locally sourced produce … that’s all you need when you’re away for a few days. btw the desserts are delicious too 👌👌

We’ve been eating the wonderful hot beef and onion baguette here since about 1375. Under new owners, this has become a truly splendid dish: a warm, crusty baguette, splendid fried onions and thick, thick slices of cooked beef with excellent crisps and salad on the side. Plus probably the best chips I’ve ever eaten out. And the homemade Chocolate Orange cheesecake is sooo good.

We stayed here in November on a business trip. This is the first opportunity I have had to write a review and say we enjoyed both a tasty dinner and breakfast here and the accommodation was extremely clean. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Visited for a family meal with 2 small dogs and 2 children We had struggled to find anywhere that would accommodate us but the Lion was perfect Very welcoming Much work has been done by new owners which has Really enhanced the place Excellent staff and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal, good menu well cooked and presented So pleased we chose to eat here and will most certainly be back!

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch carvery here today. Great choice of meats and vegetables, with Yorkshire puddings, pigs in blankets and stuffing balls. Lovely personal service at the carvery and Donna is here from the Ship at Edern! Keenly priced wine as well. We will be back as soon as we can!

Well, well. The Lion is unrecognisable. Should have been dragged into modernity years ago. My haunt as a teenager is now a haven of charm. Today, my kids and two grandkids were treating me to a meal there. The dramatic change was a sight to see to say the least, so onto the food. I chose "posh fish fingers" baguette with homemade tartar sauce, side salad, chips and homemade colslaw. It was delecious. The homemade batter on succulent cod was a delight.....so different to the soggy, grease filled beef baguette I had three years prior when under the old management. Everyone, apart from myself had dessert; all though seemed lovely! When I saw my daughter-in-law's fruit crumble and custard, I had to ask for take away puds!! Great job Mari. Excellent pub and food

It’s a challenge to find a good place to eat with a large family group of 12 including 4 under-5s, but the Lion came up trumps. No bookings needed or taken, really friendly and accommodating welcome, lots of comfortable space in the big family dining area, good range of beers for the ale drinkers, and fast service too - impressively so. Delicious food and big portions too - and a couple of good vegetarian options too including some delicious home made kale and hemp burgers. A great find, easy parking and plenty of outdoor space for when the weather’s better than it was today! Strongly recommended.

We have been coming to this establishment for over 15 years and always end our family/friends summer holiday with a meal together at the Lion. We turned up early (3.30pm) as with needing a table for 10 we knew was better to arrive early. Had a drink & spoke to a lady regarding a table. Lady said we couldn’t book/ or go to sit down yet & to come back to the bar at around 4pm. We all went to play pool, have a drink etc .. 4pm I went to the bar asked a young man regarding the other lady to which another lady came. Said she had just started her shift & we cannot book. I explained the previous conversation & was told yes we could sit in the back room after 4.30pm not an issue continued with playing pool.Lady came to find me to show where we would be seated tables had been moved to accommodate us all .We all sat down decided on starters & mains. 4 of us went to order .. went to where always order & was told to order at the bar. Stood there awhile & was told to order at where we were originally. A different young man took food orders for each of us (2,3,3,2) .. sat down & here it changed. Some of the starters came, then some mains came (which we sent back as we’re not ready for them) .. mine & husbands starter (soup) was lovely !! Son (17) ordered tempura prawns off the specials board but after waiting & waiting & all but 3 others receiving their starters asked regarding starters missing as half had finished. Sons prawns came, wrong prawns but by then he just wanted food and had them !! Middle son (22) & partner we’re still awaiting their nachos to be told had been on side waiting .. once received they enjoyed. Two friends ordered the tempura prawns on the special board, one was nice the other noticed all the prawns still had poo pipe in them. Asked to speak to someone & was told that that is how they are served with tails ! Friend again explained wasn’t the tails was the poo pipe that was the issue and could not eat them. Staff member was abrupt to the point friend asked for her plate back & to leave it. Mains came. My sweet potato and chick pea curry was incredible, amazing flavours and huge portion !! Chicken curry was loved by husband until he discovered a large bone which had cut his lip but this did not stop him finishing the curry. Daughter in laws burger was a bit over done so couldn’t eat all. Lamb Bulti (2), gammon steaks (2) additional chicken curry, scampi & fish and chips were all thoroughly enjoyed. A young blond waitress was very accommodating and polite, a credit to the staff. Giving 4/5 as the food was incredible (apart from one tempura prawn starter and a large bone discovered) , full of flavour, large portions. The minus 1 was due to how the prawn situation was handled. There was no understanding or apology, or offer of something else. Friend was made to feel not listened to and £7.95 wasted The new decor is lovely clean and fresh just service of one let it down and due to the service we did not stay to order deserts.

Wanted to eat here for a while - we pass it every time we head to our place. Lovely friendly welcome. Table for 4 available for 6pm. Good menu and choice. Shared 2 starters - be tempura was nicely crispy. Calamari was good as well (portion a bit small though). Mains were mahoosive. Mum and wifey both went for ocean pie and loved it. Chips were unnecessary for them so of course we had to help out right ? I had the coconut chicken which was excellent. Little explosion of flavour and v tender meat. Half rice /chips was a good option. Son went for lion burger which I got a taste of. Good choice ! Local beer was great. Bar again v friendly. Recommended !

We have been visiting the Lion for a number of years now during the summer and it really is one of our favourite places - mostly for the beer garden and the local ales - Ysgawen is a favourite. The recent refurbishment has kept much of the character but brought it up to date. The reduced menu is a great improvement focussing on fresh local ingredients. We’ve had a couple of evening meals which have been good but the lunches and lighter meals are excellent. The sandwiches are made with delicious home cooked meats! Being able to take the dogs in the back room has been a real plus for us and has meant we’ve spent more time there this year when the weather hasn’t been the best The management is really customer focused and responsive to suggestions- wasps were a bit of an issue in the garden but they quickly looked at solutions and got traps in. It can be really busy but staff are always welcoming and really pleasant. Will certainly be back over what is left of the summer.

We called after a long & got walk, looking for a nice cold drink & some decent pub food.The drink was very good with 3 cask ales which hit the spot as I tried all of them.The food was average pub grub which came quickly but needed something to lift it a little.We enjoyed our stop but we thought the pub could make a better effort

On visiting the Lion over bank Holiday weekend,I enjoyed the traditional beer but that's when it went down hill.Quite wait for food, which I never mind because it normally means food is being cooked freshly. But on this occasion the food served was not that appetising. Everyone did their best to eat it as they was being treated, but far from being fresh it was more like it had been reheated at least once the only exception was the chips which where fresh.Shame as beautiful venue, after leaving other venues we passed where heaving with customers obviously those knew where to go

Our food was so delicious, so fresh and tasty. So much choice we couldn’t believe it. We were expecting standard ‘pub grub’ but our expectations were exceeded! Food was gorgeous. Highly recommend the squid rings to start!!!

Whilst I appreciate the efforts of the staff in these difficult Covid times the food we were served was very poor. I opted for the Lasagne...I can honestly say that it looked very unappetizing and resembled a school dinner, it did indeed taste as bad. My partner opted for the roast chicken and said it was very dry although he did at least manage to eat his meal...I couldnt. I waited for staff to enquire if we were enjoying our meal and failed in trying to attract their attention even though the restaurant wasnt particularly busy at all...being asked only when our plates were set aside...how was the meal? The staff member promptly said she would only charge for the one meal. I only realised on leaving that our visit was during the eat out to help out qualifying days, so felt further cheated and still not worth even a fiver. The pub might do well to order their Lasagnes from the Pit Stop Garage nearby...superb tasty take away Lasagne that did not look like slops.

What a find. 4 of us (adults) stopped here for Tuesday lunch on our way to the beach at Whistling Sands. All 4 meals and the puds were all really delicious -and arrived remarkably quickly, particularly given the place seemed quite busy. It was also clearly well set up for children (we didn't have any with us today). Spacious garden, very pleasant staff. We thought the prices on the menu very good, and the food exceeded that expectation. However, because it was one of the government's "eat out to help out" days, we ended up with 2 generous courses each, coffee, and 1 round of alcohol for £37 (about £32 off). Remarkable!! We will be back. Businesses like this really DESERVE to succeed, and be supported in these difficult times. Thoroughly recommended.

Fabulous food, fabulous staff in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Very COVID safe, too. We holiday in this are regularly and are annoyed with ourselves for not trying it before. We arrived at the end of a hot day and sat outside in the garden which was lovely. A thunder storm approached and everyone got a bit anxious that they were going to get caught and not be able to go inside because of COVID etc. Well the staff here obviously were aware so they’d arranged tables inside for those that needed it and came out to move us as the rain started. Fabulous service. Other establishments could learn a great deal from the staff, here. Thank you and well done!

Superb service and delicious food as always. Love coming back here and having my pub favourites. The menu is great with something for everyone. Outside area is wonderful on a summers evening. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. Thanks again!

Have visited The Lion for years as we love this part of Wales. The staff are welcoming with a good range of Beers and food. If you have a dog they are welcome in the front of the pub if your eating. The food is good pub grub and the last time I had the duck which was delicious. All reasonably priced as well.

A pleasant and friendly family hotel. We had a meal for 19 in the evening, the food and service was great.

Wit hatten zwei Einzelzimmer gebucht. Beide waren sehr liebevoll und charmant eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeiter und Inhaberinnen waren extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Pub sowie das Frühstück waren gut.Einziger Nachteil: Die Zimmer sind hellhörig und man hört den Pub.

Was staying locally and this was in walking distance. Traditional pub. Great atmosphere. Staff very friendly. We ate here 3 nights out of 6. It was great value for money. We ate various meals between us and all were delicious. I loved the gammon steak and not forgetting the fudge cake. If you are looking for a good meal at affordable prices then go here. We visited the Lion in Tudweliog on Christmas eve thinking it would be full but were very surprised to be the only ones in the lounge bar at 1.30 pm on a Monday lunchtime. There were a few people in the public bar playing pool/darts. The food was a typical pub bar meal menu offering the usual fayer. The service was friendly and prompt and the meals were hot and tasty, freshly cooked to order with a good choice of accompanying vegetables or salad. This is a busy, popular pub usually, especially in the summer. It was a shame that the atmosphere was lacking in customers! I will return though!

Myself and family headed to the Lion recently for some food and it was just what we were after. Classic pub food, decent atmosphere and one of the guests at the hotel even jumped on the piano which added to the fun of the evening. Steak maybe slightly over priced as it just comes with chips and some peas but other than that it was fab! Cheers!

It's a pub, that does food, and the food is good value, and actually pretty nice.

We've been coming to the Lion for over 30 years. The rooms are really comfortable, clean with fresh towels on daily basis. The staff are amazing who will do anything to help and has been run by the same family since the 1970's. Guests are treated with courtesy and the allocated dining room ensures you are well looked after. Just recently a Gin Menu has been introduced serving amazing gins with appropriate mixers and fruit, they were really yummy. The food menu changes every day with home cooked locally sourced produce. What else can I say about the great little inn except you can't beat the breakfasts either, they set you up for the day.

The Lion Hotel has a pleasant dining room, located away from the bar area and very peaceful.The seating area is pleasant and well presented. The menu is limited but most people should find something they like - look out for the "specials". The food is well cooked and of excellent quality, portions are adequate but not excessive. The prices are very reasonable. Oddly, the Lion does not do table reservations so diners just have to turn up and hope there is a table free.

Příjemné místo na pobyt. Rodinný hotel s příjemnou atmosférou, nedávno renovovaný. Je to stará budova, takže občas jsou slyšet různé zvuky - hotel jako kompenzaci poskytuje špunty do uší :). Skvělá snídaně, zvláště doporučuji vyzkoušet porrige - slanou ovesnou kaši - ač jsem k ní byla skeptická, velice příjemně mně překvapila. V hotelu je restaurace (v květnu ještě nebyla otevřená) a hospoda (ta fungovala). Takže stačí po pivě či cideru jen vyjít pár schodů a svalit se do pohodlné postele.

Visited for an early tea over Easter weekend. We visited based on other reviews but the food was terrible, it makes me sceptical of the other reviews. With young kids we had to sit in a back room as kids are not allowed in the bar areas, fair enough but the place looked like it hadn’t been touched since the early 90s, terrible decor to match the food. I had a fish dish which I could have done better myself. The menu is extensive which gives it away, doing that many dishes there is no chance they can do them well. Due to the location there is not much choice which is why they get away with such poor quality.

We were welcomed in on a cold evening, early around 5 pm. It was nice and quiet so we got our food quickly, which is good when you have 2 hungry kiddies! Excellent food, my steak was cooked maybe a little over medium but we all left very contented.

This place really doesn't get any better and I think its the best pub on the Llŷn Peninsula. The food is fantastic and the beers are superb. The staff are always friendly and really welcoming. High recommended!

This lively country pub/hotel is a great place to eat. The menu is extensive as is the wine cellar! The only downside of this place is its popularity as it's sometimes difficult to get a table, although in good weather the outside tables increases its capacity.

We visited here twice in a week whilst staying in the area. The staff are friendly and the food is very good. As a vegetarian, I was particularly pleased that the main menu offers 5 choices of main course plus there was one on the specials menu. We did have to wait quite a long time ( about 35 mins) to be served food on our second visit as they were busy but they did warn us and apologise. Very good value. Quite large car park. They cater for families with large playground.

El Lion Hotel es realmente confiable y amigable pub/restaurante (con habitaciones) donde los propietarios te hacen sentir bienvenido y la comida es muy sabrosa. . . El menú es amplio con una buena selección de Gluten y opciones vegetarianas (para aquellos que quieren estas opciones) puedo recomendar el Solomillo y mi mejor medio disfrutamos el Cordero Balti regados por un buen G&T; (8 varietales para elegir). . .

Más lamentable! Llegamos poco después de las 7. 30 y mucha gente en su camino de salida, pero había un montón de gente dentro! Obviamente una casa muy popular para comer con los lugareños y visitantes. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida, pero la espera por la comida fue inaceptable. . . 9. 00:00 h. Hemos estado antes y ha sido bien pero dijo que este es el peor semana del año. Evitar!

Mi esposa y yo comimos almuerzo aquí mientras viajábamos por la zona. El personal era acogedor y muy agradable y el interior estaba muy bien decorado. Sólo queríamos una comida ligera así que optamos por el casero de zanahoria y cilantro.

Visité hoy el león (Domingo 26 de febrero de 2017) como parte de un grupo de tres, uno que es vegetariano y el otro que tiene la alergia. Las opciones vegetarianas eran muchos y variados, así como las comidas a la persona que era evitar los productos lácteos. Los tres campos principales había sido recién preparado y llegó rápidamente, entregado a la mesa por un personal amable, con las raciones de ser abundante y muy sabrosa. Me las arreglé para encontrar habitación para un tierno pero buen postre (de nuevo, un montón de opciones disponibles), mientras que las mujeres seguido sus comidas con infusiones de un menú muy completo de té. Además de la excelente comida, también había de la ale disponible Purple Moose fábrica local. Para rematar, el coste de la comida resultó ser muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Estábamos buscando un lugar para comer el domingo y vimos este lugar. Tenía un menú completo, así que por desgracia no sirve el almuerzo de domingo pero comimos de todos modos. La comida era de buena calidad y el tamaño de las porciones eran adecuados.

Almacenamiento seguro para bicicletas en su garaje. Servicio de autobús a Nefyn utilizada para hacer un paseo lineal en el camino Lynn costa. Bus lineal costero es excelente para paseos, pero sólo funciona en determinados días y no los días que estuvimos allí.

Visitamos aquí con mi marido y mi hija bebé en vacaciones. Tuvimos una comida muy sabrosa aquí! El personal es muy simpático y amable hacia nuestra pequeña. He estado visitando aquí desde que era una niña y ha sido siempre muy buena. Volveré cuando de esta manera en el futuro.

Miembro del personal muy simpático, explicó que los niños son bienvenidos, pero no se les permitió comer en el bar. Por tanto, reservamos una mesa en la habitación trasera y nos sorprendió gratamente encontrar un buen ambiente y excelente comida.

Visitamos en 29 de agosto, esperaba que fuera ocupado como he estado viniendo aquí por un largo tiempo. Estaba lleno y nos dijeron por pedir una hora de espera, después de ordenar y costillas con patatas fritas dos filetes todos. Una hora y 45 minutos más tarde llegó nuestro pero todavía no condimentos de alimentos. Dos horas después de ordenar la comida llegó. Las costillas pueden ser grasos, pero estos fueron más allá, casi ninguna carne grasos. Las carnes eran buenas calidad de carne, pero fue recargado. Muy decepcionante después de una larga espera. No hubo disculpas, que era una vergüenza! Un pub antiguo que es incapaz de mantenerse al día con las demandas.

He estado viniendo aquí desde que era pequeño, ahora vivo aquí y visite en ocasiones, este lugar tiene la mejor comida y el servicio es siempre cálido y amable.

The food is great and staff are helpful. Wifi isn't great but still useable. Beer is great and the park outside is great for kids. Can get quite busy on rainy days but nevertheless it's brilliant for anyone

Este tiene que ser uno de los pubs más amable y cuidadoso en el norte de Gales. La comida es para morirse, todas caseras y gusto. No puedo recomendar sus costillas suficientemente tienen cada vez que vaya como uno de ellos como cocineros no lo hacen.

Classico pub gallese, birra locale favolosa, cibo ottimo e grande varietà, dal pesce alla carne, da ricette tailandesi a quelle britanniche, dal cinese all'indiano, insomma ce n'è per tutti i gusti. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale! Personale favoloso, abbiamo scherzato insieme tutta la serata, veloci ed efficienti le giovani cameriere, sempre col sorriso stampato in viso. Consigliato a tutti!!

Voy a Gales durante años, y visitamos el pub unas cuantas veces. Desafortunadamente, la calidad de la comida ha ido aumentando ido cuesta abajo. No me malinterpretéis, el personal es encantador, pero todo necesita una renovación. Pequeños detalles hacen la diferencia, a su experiencia para comer fuera. Los platos son horrible, y los sobrecitos de salsas son baratos y arruina una comida regular aún más. A lo largo de los años que tengo que saber qué platos para evita. En mi opinión el pollo es seco, la hamburguesa es barato y desagradable, y las costillas no son mucho mejores. La merluza es preformado, y no agradable para comer. Mi consejo es que se pegan a las ofertas especiales, o las gambas o sobresaliente. Me volveré puramente basado en la localidad. Creo que este pub sin duda mejorar si el menú y vajilla estaba actualizado.

Comimos aquí 4 noches en nuestras recientes vacaciones. A un precio muy razonable y con una buena variedad. Se pone muy, muy ocupados, pero el personal parece ser capaz al asiento rápidamente. Un comedor familiar funciona realmente bien. El personal es probablemente el mejor (y más trabajador) que me he encontrado y tienen una memoria excepcional, nos saludaron como viejos amigos y recuerdo todo lo que tuvimos conversamos sobre en visitas anteriores. Deseo que se encuentra más cerca de casa!

Fuimos con mi familia de 7 Al mediodía nos terminamos aquí porque otros pubs en la zona tenía un menú muy limitado en el almuerzo! El personal era servicial y complaciente! Tenía las costillas así como cuatro de nosotros y ellos eran fantásticos y los precios eran de gran valor. Uno de los del grupo tenía la mitad de pollo y dijo que estaba demasiado seco para comer. Mi hija no como ella langostinos langostinos ajo barato en una salsa de mantequilla salada. Pero mi vista era buena comida a un precio asequible.

Decidimos ir aquí, nuestra segunda comida en la zona. Selección limitada de locales.. Bienvenida agradable, visita guiada al bar como un lugar mejor comer que me decepcionó ya que era oscuro y lúgubre, en un día soleado. Un antiguo pub me doy cuenta, pero parece que tienen un área más ligera en la parte trasera. Nos dijeron que esta zona se llenará con gente que comenzaría diciendo palabrotas! Debo señalar que vivo en una zona muy rural en el norte de Gales y nuestro pub oscuro muy viejo es mucho mejor en el ambiente y la decoración.

Una bienvenida muy cálida, excelente elección del menú y de las ofertas especiales. Tamaño de la porción realmente buena y sabrosa comida. Excelente menú para niños con opciones inusuales como curry, gambas ajo así como los nuggets habituales, hamburguesas, etc. Muy orientado a la familia, así que un lugar genial para familias.

Un lugar que no esperaba mucho, sin duda entregado. Tienes la sensación de un pub tradicional galés, el ambiente era relajado, servicio amable, el personal estaba más que feliz para charlar con usted, una gran zona exterior para los ocasionales días soleados y la comida era de alta calidad! Yo tenía las costillas y mi pareja y ambos eran sobresaliente y sabía grandes porciones genial!

We found food to be average but staff and the hotel are very good and it's in an excellent location. It was easy to park and there's a lot of sightseeing round about if you're visiting the area. You're not far from beaches and walks

Ambos disfrutamos de nuestra comida, pero me pareció que el plato le faltaba el toque final, es decir, Pan naan, popadum ni siquiera una guarnición para hacerlo más atractivo. Comida sabrosa

Really enjoyed our meal at The Lion - delicious Mackerel Pate followed by Duck Fillet and vegetables/Beef in Stilton sauce - good wholesome food

Eaten here many times, always a good experience. Friendly staff but not overpowering. Food has ranged from home made soup, garlic prawns, pate, ribs, fish and chips. Everyone commented on how delicious their meal was.

Tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa. Caminar en el viento y lluvia todo el día, estamos más que listos para una decente, abundante comida. No nos decepcionó. Llegamos 10 minutos antes del final de servicio - pero el personal fue muy amable y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. Entrábamos y salíamos a la hora. La comida era muy sabrosa, servicio rápido y cortés, y hasta nos dieron efectivo cuando pagas (un servicio muy conveniente para vacacionistas como nosotros!).

Lovely village pub! I have been a few times now and the food has always been lovely along with staff who are very polite and make you feel welcome. Can't wait to go back :-)

Tuvimos una excelente comida por la noche aquí el viernes con la familia. bienvenida cálida y acogedora con una opción de elegir dónde sentarse. Servicio rápido y eficaz. Todos disfrutamos muchísimo nuestras comidas - recomiendo encarecidamente el hongo y leek crumble. Los postres también eran un lujazo! Volveremos de nuevo cuando esté en la zona.

Un grupo de nosotros visitar este pub para el almuerzo en promedio una vez al mes y nunca nos ha decepcionado. Semana pasada la mayoría del grupo tenían la sopa casera pero, como la mayoría de las veces, tuve la patata de la chaqueta con atún que se sirve con una ensalada, muy abundante. Nos encanta ir a 'El Rey León" y lo recomendaría para sus almuerzos ... una buena relación calidad-precio.

My sister and I had lunch here on Thursday Stilton&Broccoli; and crusty baguette. 😃 made our own soup from recipe on BBC good food. Very nice🍵🍵.

Hemos ido a León durante muchos años, ya que tenemos una caravana localmente. Cada vez que te dan la bienvenida como si nunca has estado. Relajado, ambiente relajado, buena comida casera, precios razonables, cervezas locales fantásticos. (PD: mantener este es nuestro pequeño tesoro).

El Lion Hotel es probablemente la mejor/restaurante de cerveza relación calidad-precio en la mayor zona Nefyn, que ofrece una selección de cervezas Purple ratón Portmadoc [de] junto con comida decente por el dinero. El truco con Holiday pubs es no esperar demasiado y sin duda factor en el hecho de que puede ser muy ocupado [especiially si llueve]!

Visitamos un par de veces durante nuestras vacaciones y nos sentaron enseguida. El personal era amable y el menú tenía una buena selección de platos. No tienes que esperar mucho tiempo para la comida, que estaba caliente y sabroso. Este lugar es adecuado para los niños, con una pequeña zona de juegos exterior.

Aparecimos en una noche concurrida los días laborales pero no me impresionó incluso para comida de pub. El primer plato era normal, pero no podía comer el plato principal lasaña. dijo que era casero lasaña pero era la peor que he probado nunca. No podía comer. Flan estaba bien, pero eso fue todo para la comida.

Pub grub Sub-estándar. Llegamos en una noche de la semana durante las vacaciones recientemente. No esperábamos mucho para la cena, pero aún así nos pareció que la comida estaba por debajo de la media de un pub. Muy sosa y sin sabor. El servicio estaba muy bien y las camareras eran alegres, pero la calidad de la comida era menos de lo que esperábamos. Le vacaciones en la región otra vez, porque es una parte preciosa de Gales pero buscaremos alternativas para comer fuera la próxima vez.

Ate dinner here while on holiday. The food was disappointingly below par. The kitchen could and should devote more attention to providing value for money food rather than the tasteless fare that we experienced. The service was decent but we were disappointed with the food.

Llegamos en una noche concurrida y nos llevaron a una mesa inmediatamente. Compramos nuestras bebidas y elegimos nuestras comidas rápidamente. Después de darle nuestra orden nos dijeron que sería alrededor de una hora para la comida. Esto causó un pequeño problema en que estábamos en bicicletas y es necesario volver a nuestro B&B; antes de que oscurezca. Como resultado, no pudimos tener un dulce. Good choice of guest ales here. The staff were super friendly and the kids enjoyed the swings and slide. We are here once and food was decent and well priced. We were in the area for a week and went here about 4 times.

El pan naan era sólida, la lasaña probado fatal y el paté evidentemente ha estado en la nevera por un largo tiempo y sólo se han tomado. La división de postre banana habían visto inundada de espuma. El poco ambiente en el restaurante a pesar de que la atención y poco concurrida ha prestado a la decoración. Muy decepcionante.

This is definitely a family pub which serves fantastic food. We visited whilst on holiday in the area and really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty.

Habíamos visto este lugar recomendado por otros visitantes de la casa donde nos alojábamos en Nefyn y había conducido pasado unas cuantas veces. Decidimos almorzar ya que era un día húmedo bastante aburrida y estábamos tan contentos de haber hecho. El personal era amable y acogedor, con mucha variedad y un buen menú para mi mi sobrino de seis años. Mi hermana y mi pareja tenía el Deep fried solla, él tenía patatas fritas y ensalada muy saludable ja ja ella había patatas fritas, guisantes y judías verdes. Elegí el Scampi, delicioso, sabrosas patatas y verduras frescas como mis Sis. Comida de mi sobrino de patatas y judías de pollo, su favorito pronto desapareció! La solla europea fue una gran elección ambos piensan pero nos quedamos con infinidad de opciones, Ya que estábamos demasiado lleno de tener un flan y pensamos que las comidas eran fantástica relación calidad-precio. Me encantó el lugar y lo recomendaría. Ojalá no conducido pasado a principios de la semana, pero se llama!

Un viernes soleado, decidimos almorzar en El León, Tudweiliog con nuestra familia, cuatro de nosotros y dos nietos pequeños casi dos años y medio y ocho meses. Se trata de un lugar familiar donde el personal nos ayudó con poner la sombrilla y trajo una silla alta frente a la madera césped donde hay mesas de picnic y vuelta millstone mesas para elegir. Nuestra nieta disfrutaron su generosa porción de cocinilla. bol. que era compartida con su hermano mientras los adultos disfrutamos baguettes y sopa. Recomendaría el León para un almuerzo relajado con niños pequeños. Hay columpios y toboganes en el césped también para mantener a los más pequeños ocupados antes o después de comer.

Pub antiguo y pintoresco, buena selección en el menú y un número decente de especialidades a escoger. Lasaña fue en un plato poco profunda, que era un poco extraño porque prefiero mi lasaña a superponerse, pero tenía todos los contenidos apropiados. Un poco pequeña como consecuencia. Patatas fritas de la variedad masa fresca producida pero bien hecha. El personal es agradable y excelente tomó esta crítica hasta la 4/5 Mark. Sin duda volveremos, si sólo para probar un desierto como el menú de postres era muy tentador!

El León es el norte de Gales hotel perfecto. El alojamiento es muy cómodo y pintoresco, exactamente lo que estás esperando de una escapada a la Península Llyn. El servicio es excepcional, Iris, Caroline, Martin y todo el personal nos trató como si fuéramos de la familia. No puedo recomendar el León más altamente.

Arrived when busy but were very accommodating and squeezed us in. I'm gluten free so can't often have a proper pub meal, but here I could, really lovely and would recommend.

una vez más tuvimos que deambular por el sendero costero de Llyn para probar las delicias culinarias recién preparados y ale que son servidos con una sonrisa en cualquier momento en el Lion Hotel. Proporcionan un variado menú para satisfacer el paladar de los paladares más exigentes. Vamos, que la desviación del circuito turístico y regálense.

The food is always good at the Lion as is the beer. We've been going there for 20 years. It's friendly with plenty of room in the garden.
