Tiny ice cream shop, just after crossing the bridge on the right hand side, serving up a great selection of local flavoured (Glasu) ice creams. Rhubarb crumble in particular was delicious!

Visited their ice cream shop today with my 5 year old she waited patiently behind a man who was taking ages buying ice creams for his friends and family(lots of them) finally when my little girl got her turn the lady behind the counter said “we’re closed” I was furious and my little girl in tears being refused the ice cream she stood there patiently waiting at least 5 minutes for! Have been visiting this village every year for around 30 years never ever have we been treated in this manor will most definitely NOT be returning to this shop! Appalling attitude to a 5 year old! I understand they have a closing time which may I add we didn’t see but to refuse your last customer (a little girl is disgusting!!!) not even an apology either.

As a regular consumer of the Glasu ice cream at Siop Ken I feel well qualified to comment. I have my favourites ,Caramel and Eton Mess ( not together !) but I am often persuaded to try other flavours, not always enjoyably. Well worth trying this ice cream.

Oh my goodness! The dearly beloved and I rounded off our Scampi & chips (see separate review of Sblash ) with some delicious ice cream in a proper waffle cone. I had a double scoop of coffee which was rich smooth and strong, a perfect blend and Craig had raspberry & white chocolate. The shop is run from the cafe next door so just ring the bell for help when you’ve stopped dribbling over the delicious flavours there are to choose from. Decently priced too! We’ll be back.

Disappointing ! Didn't get to eat. Stood waiting to get a table for 5miniutes while numerous staff walked past a number of times and didn't even acknowledge we were waiting. We felt totally invisible. Even if they were busy it wouldn't have cost them anything to acknowledged us, not even a smile or a nod. We left!!!

Good service. Honestly the food was overpriced and overwhelmingly below average. ordered the pork belly and only half of it came and was incredibly chew . No staff about to tell them about it . Drink are good though only good thing about my meal . EDIT: After returning about 6 months later everything was so much better honestly seemed like a different restaurant. The food was really nice this time I had the fajitas under the recommendation of someone else guess the last time I visited we must have just come at a bad time.

The food is made by the staff/owner and it shows in quality. Everything I have tried has been very tasty. Now I go there 2 times a week to buy their delicious bread and usually end up having a cake as well. The owners work very hard and they deserve to be thanked. Hope they are going to be very successful in the years ahead. I would particularly recommend the seeded loaf.

Lovely little restaurant with a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Welsh tapas - sounds odd but it works :-) An interesting mix of typical Spanish style tapas dishes (cod baked with a tomato and olive sauce) and some with a Welsh twist (cockles and laver bread). The young lady who served us was really helpful and friendly. Thank you for being patient and supportive with my husband’s learner level Welsh!
