The best restaurants in Harlech Gwynedd North Wales

Lovely hotel in Harlech. Host was one of the nicest people I've met - couldn't be more helpful! Room was great, and had the best scrambled egg for breakfast. Can't recommend this hotel enough 😊

Great gluten free cafe,had gluten free sausage and chips and curry sauce,all delicious and good portions,my wife had chicken and mushroom pie and gravy not gluten free but really good,thourghly recommend

The longest I've ever waited for black coffee and a sandwich that is already made, this is with four staff and only one serving the rest out the back, now I'm sure they were busy but one could have made my coffee whilst he served the only other customer who needed service. Now the coffee is an americano but this one is special " probably the best coffee in Cymru" but it's bloody expensive considering it's it's about the size of egg cup £12 for a tiny coffee that took ages to make and a pretty sandwich that was heated...

Amazing ice cream, I love ice cream and I might be bold enough to say this is the best ice cream ever! Fav was the lemon flavour but tried honeycomb, peanut and salted caramel and all were amazing! Portions were very generous! People who work/ run the shop and make the ice cream are lovely too!

Great coffee and wonderful homemade cakes, especially the bara brith. Looking forward to our next visit ☺️

If ever you visit Harlech Castle and need cash for the carpark, this is a must. "Cash machine" facility available inside that gives coins. The staff are excellent and friendly. The pumpkin soup is to die for. Cafe incorporates a gift shop, wool shop, comfy seating, terrific back ground music to eat your lunch/ tea to. Can't wait to go back.

Very cute little post office/cafe/shop - diversifying at its best. Pizza was very tasty and filling, toasties looked great. Staff were extremely friendly. Just a lovely place to spend your lunchtime really.

We did not eat here but just don’t want people to make the same mistake as we did, they are not dog friendly, the dogs can only stay outside on the terrace, not suitable in November!

Traditional pub with local atmosphere. We received a warm welcome when we arrived. Big screen football matches free to watch. Good selection of beers

We stayed for one night in this guest house which had excellent reviews but we were deeply disappointed, the room was very cold and the radiator was off to keep warm we used a small electric heater which was in the wardrobe hoping it wouldn't cause a fire; we had asked to have dinner and we were asked to go strictly at 6.40pm and no later, the dinner was nothing exceptional except the price was too high and not proportionate, the owner didn't give us time to finish eating as it was already ready to take away our plate; the breakfast was poor and nothing exceptional. It certainly does not reflect the reviews made by other guests and of all the places where we stayed this was truly terrible.

What a great place to stay centre of the town. Arrive in the evening and park, which avoids all the early morning traffic jams on the streets. Great host and locals in the pub. We had our best time in wales staying here. Definitely recommending this all 5’s⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely food, good atmosphere and background music and very friendly staff. Pizzas and garlic bread were delicious as was the salad bowl. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.
