The best restaurants in Denbighshire North Wales

Our meal we bought was unfortunately awful !...the sweet and sour chicken was big battered balls with a small piece of chicken in the middle . The chicken in black bean sauce was gloopy and stuck together . The ok sauce was to strong with nothingness in it ...no onions or anything ...the chips were soggy and also stuck together very unappetising. We ended up throwing it away . We had great expectations of this take away because the young lady who worked there was lovely knew her job and was very attentive . .the place was clean and tidy and it has a 4 star ...it was just such a terrible meal and a big dissapointment ....

We ve been twice over the last 3 weeks, the first time we had a breakfast, the food was only luke warm and the toast was anaemic, how difficult is it to serve a hot breakfast. Went again yesterday and we both had a bacon sandwich and a tea, the tea was great a nice big mug, however the bacon sandwich was a dissapointment, we did nt want butter on it, when it came it was on thick sliced bread that was,nt very fresh there were 2 slices of bacon on which were not very warm, it was awful, for a supermarket to produce food like that when they have all the means available to serve the best food, I certainly would not recommend it or go there again.

Not very happy! Arrived on my lunch asked if they did takeaway, yes they do, ordered a simple Toasties sandwich as I only had an hour break, 45 mins later I made a face to question where my food is she had noticed and checked, only to realize it been sat on the side and no one has noticed for God knows how long. Opened it to realize it was a sandwich not a Toastie which I had ordered..... but had no time to even wait to change hour later I have had to leave my food and return to work without eating lunch. Will not be returning.

After spending over £30 for the 3 of us disappointment is an understatement, first of all what we paid did not match the price of the menu we took away as it was a bit more , the fish was slightly undercooked the chips and gravy were absolutely tasteless and chips were hard it came across to me as though they were rushing hence why nothing was cooked properly I've made better at home , honestly this was by far the worst chippy I've ever tasted and i’m not exaggerating either , my friend’s daughter who absolutely loves her food and as a great appetite even left hers and she loves chippy teas, after reading this review and you decide to go then more fool you , best thing about this was filling the bin up , I would’ve given it the dog but I didn’t want her to be ill neither , any takeaway for us is a real treat and something to look forward to but when spending this amount of money only to throw them away and make our own i feel robbed , YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Popped in for dinner after a swim at the Nova. The prices are great, the portions good and the staff were so friendly. We got two meals for the kids, drinks all around for little over a tenner and the kids enjoyed the arcade. It's definitely going to become one of our regulars. The menu is pretty classic beachside cafe food, they have soft serve ice creams and they do pup cups 😍

I ordered 1 fish(my hand is bigger) 1 small chips(when they mean small,they MEAN small,iv'e had bigger starters) 1 large carton of curry(if that was LARGE i would hate to see the small cartons) and a jumbo sausage(which was a jumbo sausage) all that for £16.00......I would say it was worth about £6.00..........FINNS ALL THE WAY FROM NOW ON !!!!!

The food was tastless. Portions good. Chips tasted like fat was very dirty. Chicken curry was tastless and chicken had look of beef.

Lovely room with old books and comfy seating, mixed so you can look out onto the gardens or have a cosy corner. Staff excellent and friendly. Probably not the best time to have an evening meal but wanted a change from the restaurant and nothing open in Ruthin Boxing Day. Rarebit was burnt at the corners and when my son complained he was told that was how it came.

Overpriced and not great quality. We went to try the takeaway for the first time and although we saw the prices were more expensive than other local takeaways we thought it would be better quality. We were very much mistaken. Not good value at all for the price - items were low on meat and the quality was not good. We will not go back.

Amazing food an great service would highly recommend...food was lovely an hot..an full of wonderful flavors........

I never really take notice of trip advisor these days as it's a well known fact that most reviews are faked to improve a rating or are done by individuals who try to blackmail establishment by giving a bad review. However seeing as this place has so few negative or faked good reviews and the fact every time we drive past they are usually packed, we decided to give it a try, and to be honest my family were not disappointed! Very good food and very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will be returning.

Went after work at 5.30. Served by a lad named Lewis. Very helpful and went out of his way to help me. Food was good as usual. Very impressed.

Had to write a review due to the amount of ridiculous bs in amongst other reviews. This is my local, I’ve been going for years now and I have never once found a single hair in my food let alone ever had an issue. Never waited more than an hour for my food either. I genuinely think those other reviews are just doing it out of malice or stupidity.
