Wok Fish Bar in Denbighshire

Overpriced and not great quality. We went to try the takeaway for the first time and although we saw the prices were more expensive than other local takeaways we thought it would be better quality. We were very much mistaken. Not good value at all for the price - items were low on meat and the quality was not good. We will not go back.

Although the meal consisted of a Chinese takeaway and nothing exciting I ordered chicken chow main and chips. I was shocked to find out the price for a takeaway was £14.00 Chicken chowmein and chips, no frills processed chicken, will I visit again ...er no

I ordered chicken curry fried rice salt pepper chips was 👌 bit pricey but good food will return if husband paying lol tried a great chipshops around hete this is definitely best chicken curry

I ordered the food 10 mins prior to visit. Food not particularly special. curry not hot n spicy but tempereture warm. Very expensive for an every day chicken curry half rice half chips. Could of purchased a restaurant sit down meal for less.

We had a combination starter, sweet and sour chicken with fried rice -£27.40. The starter was ok, but not reflective of £16 cost. The portion size for the main was really small, same size as the fried rice tray which for £9 main was pricey as it was more of a child’s portion. The rice was crunchy and overall we were really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend

We ordered last night, we had salt and pepper chicken (tasted like it had a bucket of salt of it) salt and pepper chips were anaemic and soggy like they’ve been left there. Egg fried rice was bland, a tub of curry sauce Paid £18. Can’t give it zero stars otherwise I would. Won’t return

Its my birthday today and I decided to order from here, food was excellent, freshly cooked and piping hot. Thank you the excellent food made my birthday meal special. Excellent young lady taking orders x

Thought we’d try this one out as we’ve been to a few around the area already. The worse Chinese takeaway of all those tried in the Flintshire area to date! First and foremost, my son found a black hair in his chips!! Disgusting!! I had the chefs suggestion - beef in garlic and chilli sauce - the beef was very chewy, fatty and the sauce was awful. My wife had beef chow mein which she said was bland and had no mushrooms in it. I can honestly say that was a waste of £22.00 and will definitely NOT be returning!

Best takeaway in area portions a little smalml best ever salt and pepper chips a bit overpriced as been as you have to pick up, but I had one Friday and Saturday proper Chinese takeaway 😀

I have used this takeaway 4 times now having only found it in early 2021 having lived in Prestatyn for 10 years now. Every meal that we have had from there has been VERY good in my opinion. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the Wok.

ordered singapore noodles, got home it looked good till i tasted it.... SALT... it was all i could taste probably had more salt intake in a couple of mouthfuls of this takeaway than i’ll have all year.Do chefs taste there food?? very dissatisfied £8 for SALT.. won’t be back again and if it had been a resteraunt i’d have sent it back!!

Pure quality, very tasty, people on here saying its expensive, well you get what you pay for, nice friendly staff, on our to go to list when in Wales

We recently had a take away from this place fo 3 people I didn't click straight away when she charged my £40 but later on thought that was very expensive THe food wasnt that good either next time I will go to a better cheaper Chinese

This is a Lovely Clean Family Run Takeaway, Great Food and Fantastic Service, much needed in an Area Desperate for Decent Eateries..

My family and I are loyal customers to this takeaway as we've ordered from there for years, however I'm sad to say that after tonight that may no longer be the case.An order that we were told would take 30 minutes (understandable, it is a Saturday night) actually turned into an hour wait with the lad behind the counter using the excuse "I thought I'd called your order" he had not in fact, and as there was only 1 other person in the shop it was apparent that he was not being honest. He then gave us food that had been wating on the side over 10 minutes that he had clearly forgotten about. Nearly a £40 order, cold. No apology.. just no customer service skills whatsoever. Extremely disappointed.

Polite staff and clean. Very disappointed in the small portion and was very, very salty. Also the fried rice was cold

Ordered sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and Singapore fried rice with curry sauce and fried rice....fried rice very salty and no egg, sweet and sour very sour and not much chicken but veg, Singapore fried rice very bland and no spice, more like fried rice and ham pieces . Curry sauce like mango chutney......£18 is a joke....

Went here with my partner, portions very small. Small slithers of meat sauce very tangy. Singapore fried rice not spicy at all more like egg fried rice with small pieces of ham. Curry sauce was just like a fruity sauce.Sweet & sour chicken. Measly portion. Total waste of £18 Will not return or recommend.

Thought we would try this place as normal place we order from has gone downhill and I must say the food from wok was very tasty curry was thick,dark brown and had plenty of onions which is just the way we like it and chips were proper home cooked chippy style chipsmyself partner and children enjoyed our Saturday night take away only downfall was portions are much smaller than other Chinese take awaysChips were same price as our normal place but only half the amount and main meals were a little on the small side to but we did get free prawn crackersall in all was lovely and we will definitely be using this place as our new weekend treat

Nice clean place, not the cheapest but well worth the extra cost. Had house chow mein, lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls, egg fried rice altogether came to £22

Good food very tasty and fresh a bit more expensive than our usual place but well worth it will Defo be going there again

Some of the best Chinese food we have had on holiday. A great take-away with lots of choice. The crispy beef was ecellent.

Nice food. Reasonable portions. Friendly atmosphere. Been here quite often with family. Shop's been revamped so it's looking very modern and bright. Nothing to fault. Always service with a smile...

Elegí el especial chow mein. Tenía que ser la comida china más decepcionante que he tenido en mucho tiempo. En £7.00 no era barato. El estándar, especiales, las comidas eran de £6.00. La comida consistía en un montón de fideos con unos trozos de carne y pobre algo de verduras. Totalmente seco. sin ningún signo de jugos salsa de soja que se espera. No califican como un buen chow mein nunca importa un especial! Terrible? No. Extremadamente pobres? Sí. Por desgracia, no vamos a volver pronto.

The food from Here is not to bad, had chicken and mushroom. Would not go again though as it needs a good clean. The doors, floors, table and chairs. Everything was dirty

I love this chippy you get good portions and staff are really polite nothings a bother to them. I can't really recommend a particular meal but there curry really nice.

Well worth a try. I'll be as honest to say its not the best chinese in the area but its not far behind and the prices are probably the most competitive in the area. Friendly staff and fast service.

Stopped of for a takeaway and was happy with what I got. Different from what I'm used to but all the same it wad delicious. Good value for money and servicecwas nice and quick.

Not the best chippy in Prestatyn, slightly greasy, although is the nearest chippy to the beach.Chinese and English in one.
