Ordered from this place so many times and it’s always been excellent but tonight because I’ve ordered using a discount I’d actually claimed by using the place multiple times they’ve cancelled and refused it will never ever use the place again the greedy staff probably eat it themselves

If i could give a 0 i would kids hotdog meal chips undercooked hotdog hard unedible everything cold had to call 3 times order was very late have they changed hands wasn't this bad last time i went there cook it properly or don't bother even the bread was hard left in microwave to long not good not worth it plus we didn't get any ice cream and very thin on topping on waffles

Ordered 2 Nutella and strawberry crepes today at about half past 8 for collection as we was outside the shop anyways, went in and said we placed an order for collection was sat waiting for touching half an hour after being told it would take about 10 minutes ish, when we got the order we got to the car to check it and what a shambles! Food was touching cold and there was absolutely NO Nutella in the crepe and a sprinkle of strawberries and we got a little drizzle of Nutella on top of the crepe how thoughtful 😂 we’ll never be going here again and certainly will not be recommending this place to ANYONE!

Food was okay little cold but could still eat it , my issue was with service , so we placed an order and we was suppose to receive a free ice cream due to spending over a certain amount with them our order was £25 , once I sat down and realised I thought I’ll pop them a call and let them know , I told the lady that I’d placed an order and the ice cream wasn’t in it and she asked me to give her a minute, I could hear what was going on I heard someone asking where the delivery was delivered to and she gave the location the staff started laughing while I was sat on the phone then hung up , I wouldn’t of minded if they politely delt with this and shown one of there customers a little respect , they could of even said I’m really sorry we’re a little busy and unable to head back up that way I would of been okay but u didn’t think to treat a customer that way was okay

Placed an order at 22.05 for delivery which said it would be delivered by 23.30 which was a push but decided to proceed. Waited up until 1am and still no delivery. By this time there was no way of contacting the shop and on the delivery update it stated that it was delivered by 23.15 which it wasn't. Took my payment and had no intentions of delivering the food. What an absolute joke. Never again. We will be visiting the shop for our refund

Got a burger with onions when wanted just lettuce phoned they sent a new one once again with onions .Spoke to girl on the phone rudely said she doesn’t know what to do then buttoned the phone

Food was nearly an hour late turned up cold like it was kept in the fridge then just delivered waste of money will never order from here again.

food is absolutely awful it takes hours and comes stone cold, paid for my food online and at the door the driver was asking for more money so we’ve ended up paying twice. called the shop and they said the driver would be back to drop it off, and after that just completely ignores us, what a shambles of a business. the reviews tell you all you need to know🤣🤣

Ordered at around 7pm didn’t arrive till 8:40. Once received the gravy had turned solid it looks like they have dumped dried up chocolate on top of the chips

AVOID!! Ordered for delivery ASAP at 19.35 for 20.35 delivery app was updated at 20.56 saying complete so I rang at 21.11 to find out where the delivery was as I still hadn't had it got told it was on the way. Delivery finally turned up at 21.48 completely melted disgraceful service and lack of communication between driver and Sweet Steve's. Shouldn't take 52 minutes to deliver and clwyd eats will never know as they mark it as complete when it isn't.

Ordered at about half 6, the food arrived around 8. The waffles were cold and ice cream was completely melted to liquid so must have been out on delivery a while. We ordered two waffles and two milkshakes but for some reason they only brought one milkshake. The driver said he'd bring a milkshake straight back, 3 hours later I heard nothing and had to phone back. The milkshake finally arrived at 11:30, 5 hours after it was ordered and then it was the wrong size. They might be ok if you go in but i'd avoid delivery!

Ordered on ClwydEats at 10PM and still not had the food that I ordered it’s is now 11:21pm and on their ClwydEats it said that were still open and it also says they are still preparing the food

Food is poor. Tiny portions and everything is poorly made and set out. The pictures online don’t show what you really get. Do not get your moneys worth and wait way over an hour for delivery. EDIT DUE TO COMPANY RUDE RESPONSE- I phoned as soon as I got home that they’d given me the wrong toppings they said they’d deliver them to my address. I phoned again an hour later they said they’d be on the way in a minute. Waited another hour - no order. Eventually gave up. Will not order again. No wonder there’s so many negative reviews recently.

Avoid this place if you want your order the same day, service is an absolute joke. I rang twice to find out what happened and was told both times it’s on its way, and It never turned up. Pathetic shop

Ordered a school cake tray ...the cake was not friends was flat and was not even the full height of the tray ....terrible value for money ....disgusting more like a flat cookie biscuit .

Order my food at 8:58 and still not arrived i rang them at 11:10 and they said they was waiting for a delivery driver I call back at 11:40 and now there not answering

Been ordering here for well over a year now, never had a problem until now so unsure if it’s been taken over by new owners but disappointed tonight, ordered my usual kinda bueno king special waffle only to be greeted with 1 hippo and bueno split in half, from about the last 10 times I’ve had this waffle there’s been a lot more toppings on the waffle I’ve added photos what I got v what they show on Facebook

I’d give it a zero if I could. What a let down, this used to be our favourite spot as it was absolutely amazing but after the change of ownership it’s absolutely shocking! We won’t be returning spent £12.50 on pancakes to be given a stack of 55p pancakes from a pack I could’ve done it myself for cheaper. Then a hotdog with grilled onions to be given raw onions and a sausage thinner than my pinky finger ontop of a hard bun 👎🏻 Inedible “chips”that I wouldn’t even feed to my dog👎🏻 The burger was the only thing edible!! worst £36 I’ve ever spent. Now to go out and find something that’s actually edible 👎🏻 Not to mention the fact the new owner allows people to smoke instore! My partner was stood in front of a vaping indoors👎🏻 EDIT: due to no reply option, it’s funny how now 4 months later after ample shocking reviews you state you’ve reached out to rectify this however this simply isn’t true! You sent me a message which was later “unsent by sender”, you delete every single comment I make on your Facebook... I wonder why? The worst thing to ever happen to sweet Steve’s is the change of ownership.

Will not be ordering from this place again! Ordered 2 days ago a waffle and a cookie dough and both came stone cold so did not eat as didn’t know whether was cooked or not. Waited 2 days to speak to a manager and still heard nothing back. Gave the benefit of the doubt and ordered again tonight, cookie dough came stone cold again and to top it off FOUND A HAIR half way through eating it! Will not order from there again!

Paid £7.95 for cookie dough which tasted lovely but the portion size was an insult. Probably cost £1 to make. Won't be going again

Just had a delivery of waffles and American triple pancakes, well how disappointing are the pancakes and ice cream, ice cream was melted and there is no way the pancakes are American, there was hardly any syrup and they had folk marks in them they were very dark in colour and were the size of small shop bought from Tesco, I called the shop to speak to the owner or manager and told there isn’t a manager, and there was no management available, I was told to leave my phone no and they would pass it on for someone to get back to me, what a very disappointing pudding, I called a second time to ask if my phone no was passed onto the boss and had a backlash of a young woman who said she was the manager and accused me of calling again and asking if my no was passed on to the owner, there was a lack of communication skills as this woman (manager) did not handle the situation properly It ended up me returning the badly sized and prepared pancakes and ice cream and having to wait for a refund

Ordered deserts for the kids at 10pm was told at 23.15 my order left 10 mins earlier. 23.40 no order arrived, Resteraunt closed at 23.30. So obviously non intention of delivering my £35 order. Absolutely shocking and to be lied to on 2 occasions on the phone. Even Uber who we ordered through couldn’t get hold of them to find out where the order is Avoid at all costs. Rubbish

First time buying ice cream from this place and my god its disgusting. We ordered 2 whippy ice creams and what we got given looked like plastic... we couldn't eat it, it didn't even taste like ice cream!!!! I can't describe how sick I feel after just 2 tastes of it. Absolutely vile!

Sweet Steve's having a laugh?! Ordered us some treats at 9:20! It was pushing it already saying it would be here between 22:25-22:45, i phoned at 22:45 they were waiting on a driver getting back from Abergele! Then 23:23 and still not here! What a joke! Apparently its on its way (they just answered). I rang again at 23:40 they said it'll be there in less than 5 mins. They blamed the driver! The poor young guy bless him! Slushes and ice creams were like water and apple crumble and custard was barely luke warm! I'm fuming!!

Great staff, the till boy was very sweet and professional.

Quality, well presented desserts! Massively upgraded recently, highly recommend - satisfied my sweet tooth. Not to forget the burgers are delicious!

This place is way nicer than some of top 🍨 places in London, Manchester and other major cities. You would never think in small Rhyll you can find milkshakes this good. Honestly need to raise their prices because their milkshakes and waffles are to die for. Thank you so much guys, I'm coming back and I'm bringing my mum :)

Visited here by chance as one of the only places left open, honestly one of the best deserts we’ve ever had! Staff were very helpful and friendly, lovely vibe and flowers inside. The cookie dough was spot on with a wide range of flavours and choices. We had a milkshake each too and these were gorgeous. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely come back here again!

Just popped in as we wanted a sweet treat and milkshake. My daughter had the Oreo milkshake and it’s the best she’s had. I had the fruit cake and Vic sponge ❤️❤️ will be back to try the Battenberg ice cream

Amazing place. We had cookie dough - it was warm and tasty with loads of choice for toppings. Cafe was really clean and the staff were really friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Searched for a milkshake shop when visiting the area and I'm so glad we found this one! Shakes, waffles and icecream were all fab.

Awesome super shakes. I had the strawberry sensation and my daughter had the kinder, both really enjoyed them well worth it.

Went here tonight with family and had fantastic desserts very reasonably priced. The cheesecakes are amazing!! Would recommend 100%
