Unfortunately not impressed here at all. The lady who served us at the till us more interested in serving and chatting with another member of staff that she left me waiting for 5 minutes while my coffee and the milk she had begun to steam sat waiting, both getting cold. The food arrived relatively quickly but the bacon was undercooked and for the most part inedible. We left soon after because we didn’t enjoy our cold coffees, mediocre breakfast and despite choosing an unoccupied area to sit in, we were having having to sit listening to another member of staff who sat behind us, giggling at TikTok videos she was playing on her phone. Overall an awful experience and we won’t be returning.

I'm disappointed with the fish and chips the batter was so hard not crispy. The chips are hard. I only enjoyed the green peas. It's not worth the money

With I had taken a photo before sending it back DISGUSTING £3 for a Bacon Sandwich with 2 Tiny Burnt Cold pieces of bacon.I eat her alot and today has made me Re think paying thay price at least should be Warm and Not burnt and when I stated all other times I've had my same we got 4 bacon not just 2.

Ordered a jacket potato with cheese. The potato was cold and black inside. The cheese was just grated cheese on the side. Not cooked with the potato. Bit of green leaf on the side. Not nice at all. Just don’t know how they get away with it. Awful

Visited on Friday the 15th. Terrible visit, dirty cutlery, uninterested staff and the food! Well....We both had beer battered cod & chips. Worst meal EVER!! Horrible processed fish that, for a £6 meal looked and tasted like the 2 pieces for 99p sainsbury basic fodder. The chips, all 12 of them looked and tasted like they'd just been shown the fryer as apposed to actually put inside it.mine were just about passable but the wifes tasted like no chip ive ever tasted and when I took them back and told them what was wrong she looked at me as if id just told her id killed her pig. When they came back you could seeŕ I had garden peas with mine and the wife had baked beans which I can only guess at them being sainsburys basics again! Also, no hint of any bread or butter. Morrisons fish and chips look and taste like they should cost much more than the £1 that they do!! The only saving grace was the coffee was nice but expensive compared to morrisons. We used to go to the sainsburys quite regular until lockdown closed everything but after this, unless the cafe has a serious look at itself and the management overhaul the menu and facilities we won't be going back but will continue on to morrisons for some quality food! The picture isn't what we got but what was expected.

The food was really poor. The scampi were like bullets, chips on one plate were ok over cooked peas…… Second plate came with a hair, after being sent back the chips were under cooked, scampi like bullets and clearly under portioned to the other plate and over cooked peas. No tartare sauce given this had to be asked for. NO ONE asked if our meal was ok. Very very poor considering the price and considering the store. Will definitely not be going back.

Had painters in our house so came here for breakfast for a couple of mornings. The full breakfast looked tempting and well priced but as we have small appetites went for the bacon and egg option. At 9 a.m. no problems with waiting. Friendly staff and tasty food.

Sainsbury’s offer a great breakfast at such a good price thay also do a vegetarian breakfast it’s really good .lovely friendly staff and a very clean place.

Me and my mum often have lunch at this cafe we enjoy the food and the cups of teas are nice tasting as well , nice place to catch up and have a chat can get busy at lunch times 12/1 but always manage to get a seat , service good as well never had to wait too long good on the staff 😀

A group of eight went for drinks earlier today. Some of the group bought food, and everyone bought a drink.After a while a female member of staff approached the table, cleared it and asked if we wanted anymore drinks, we all said no, with the reply we need these tables its getting busy!! . We got the hint our cue to leave!!! Quite rude, There are ways to ask without being bad mannered after all we are helping to pay the wages of the staff by using the cafe!! Shame one member of staff let's it down for the rest of the staff working there.

Stopped for a quick refreshment and loo break. Quite a long wait to get served with drinks which were OK and reasonably priced. Toasted teacake was excellent with plenty of fruit. Cakes looked ok and reasonable priced but didn't try them . Seating is typical supermarket area which looked a bit tired.

Popped in for a few items of shopping and a cappuccino but were told in quite a loud manner that we could only have tea or filter coffee! Ordered the coffee option and received a luke warm mug. Cafe was dirty with cups and plates of leftovers on most of the empty tables. It’s a shame as the store itself is great, can the manager retrain the cafe staff?

I dont Like this Supermarket, But the Café is Fantastic. The Staff are so Friendly Food is always Cheap and Good, Perfectly Cooked and Hot. And its Always Clean. Clean 8/10. Staff 9/10. Drinks 8/10. Food 10/10. Priced 10/10. As far as a Supermarket Café goes this is One of the Best around. Get the X-Mas Dinner, or Pasta or a Lovely Omelette all for Next to Nothing with Friendly Staff and a Clean Place to go. So what you waitting for.... GO 😁 But also Love Cinnamon so get a Toasted Teacake with your Latte.

We haven't been here for a while, so we thought we'd go again.

I was in here on Thursday 25th and whilst in the queue waiting to be served (for at least 15 minutes) the lady on the till asked for help from the people in the back and another young lady came out to help. However the ladies cooking (whom I later got the names of - Val and Caz apparently) were extremely rude and were shouting rather loudly at the ladies on the till saying they didn't need 2 people. By this time I had been waiting almost 25 minutes in the queue so it was obvious that they did need 2 people on the tills. The ladies on the till were extremely friendly and I can't fault them, they were working as fast as possible and as fast as the machines seemed to allow - they were positive and friendly despite the awful tirade coming from the 2 cooks. There was also a lady serving meals (her name was Moira as I could see from the badge) and upon returning back to the kitchens she was slamming the table numbers down on the section where they seemed to be put, at one point almost taking a gentlemens head off. This awful attitude by these 3 ladies will now make me think twice before returning here, something I will also communicate to friends and family. There is obviously a serious need to train these women on customer service skills as this was atrocious and rude - not something I expect from Sainsburys!

At the cafe about 10.30am so quite busy for breakfast. One young girl on the till and making drinks, everyone in the que complaining about the wait. Eventually someone approached one of store managers to voice her concerns about the situation, he was having his meal with a colleague. He addressed the problem and another member of staff came to make the drinks. We eventually got our cappuccinos which were very tepid, I took them back and asked for them to be heated, the staff member said she would make more drinks but advised the machine wasn't working properly so couldn't guarantee they would be hot, this is very unacceptable. After a period of time we eventually had our drinks which were hot. There seemed to be a general problem today, people complaining about their food, tables not cleared, we sat next to a half eaten breakfast on the next table for at least 3o minutes, not very pleasant. We heard several customers saying they wouldn't be coming to the cafe again, what a shame, it used to be really good

Just been here with my husband for tea left everything after one mouthful of food! Ordered cod fillet, baby potatoes and peas, staff said they’ll have to check if the ovens are on...at 5pm?! Anyway they brought the food out and half the plate was salad, sent it back as I hadn’t ordered salad and the picture clearly shows peas. Second attempt and the fish was cold and swimming in water, the potatoes were shrivelled up and hard obviously over cooked and the peas were hard and cold. The tables were absolutely filthy food all over them and the floor, rubbish all over. I do not recommend and would advise a new chef be hired. Now on the way to the chippy for some proper food!

Saturday morning visit, 15 to 20 minute wait to order followed by another 15 minute wait for food but cafe actually only half full. Taking in to account your paying about 30% more than an independent cafe in town then avoid if you can.

This cafe is handy if you want a meal before or after doing your shopping, The toilets are at the entrance to the cafe. Plenty of car parking spaces.

Earlier today we shopped and also ate at Sainsbury's, Rhyl. We eat here quite often and it is always decent food at a good price. However, today's meals we found to be of a particularly high standard. My wife had 'her usual' of cottage pie, whilst I tried a new offering, the salmon fillet, which I had with chips and peas. It was really lovely. Hence why I am taking the trouble to write this. Credit should be given, where credit is due! Clare, a delightful lady took our order and the cooking staff did the rest. They are to be congratulated for their food, drinks and the standard of service provided.

This is a good place to eat before doing the weekly shopping or afterwards, The toilets are near the entrance to the cafe, On the right side as you enter the cafe'.

Thought we'd try a breakfast £4.50, we thought the price for it was good aswel, the lady that served us with blonde hair was very nice as were all the staff, we really enjoyed the food had the extras mushroom, black pudding, fried bread, the drinks tea and coffee came with the breakfast as did toast, definitely recommend! certainly filled us up for the day! All tables clean and tidy

Have eaten there on many occasions and always nice . But today had a breakfast and very disappointed. The food had been reheated it was hard and dry . Won't be having that again

Called here on the last Monday afternoon in November. We had 4 teacakes,2 flat whites and hot chocolate .Very friendly service at counter and everything tasted great

I love sainsburys and the cafe is really good too, the service is excellent and th e food is really good. Great choice on the menu and fantastic value for money I would recommend this place to eat.

Aquí cuando compras en POP. Personal amable. Siempre comida aceptable y caliente si es una comida casera ordenados. Normalmente tienen un pastel o pan tostado la sopa a la hora del almuerzo. La zona de comedor está limpio, aunque en ocasiones puede ser ocupado las mesas sucias si el personal ocupado. Usted puede poner su bandejas en un rack que la mayoría de la gente. Los inodoros justo afuera del Café siempre están limpias y ordenadas

good for a quick drink and snack. Staff are friendly. Bright decor, however mens toilet although clean looking always stinks !! so much so that it pervades the toilets foyer and some days the entrance to the cafe.

Siempre parar aquí después de visitar el hospital de aperitivos. Siempre tendrás el mismo chico en la bebida o hasta y es muy amable y eficiente. La tarta de chocolate y torta de zanahoria son muy buenas. Siempre hay que buscar en el armario para más servilletas aunque como siempre parece necesitar reponiendo. Se pone bastante concurrida alrededor de 4, 30 y tiene algunas ofertas de la comida caliente. Café y té siempre es sabrosa.

Cuando llegamos a las 11. 55:00, el café estaba muy concurrido, con casi nada de mesas a la izquierda. Creo que siempre es una buena señal. Es un menú muy limitado, pero perfecto para un almuerzo rápido. Tuve jamón, huevos y patatas fritas y mi marido tenía el pescado y patatas fritas. Ambos disfrutamos de las comidas. La orden salió a menos de 15 minutos y con periódicos de cortesía a leer es un toque muy agradable. He estado aquí varias veces y siempre encontré que el personal era muy amable y eficiente. Creo que están haciendo "s Sainsbury un trabajo realmente bueno.

Parece agradable a la vista, con mesas bien separadas y cómodos asientos. Mi marido tenía la tortilla con jamón y queso. Gratamente sorprendido, ya que era una tortilla bien hecha con un montón de el elegido de llenado. Tuve la Sopa de Lentejas y espinacas. Un gran plato lleno de ingredientes bien cocinados, muy sabroso y muy agradable. Un rollo marrón acompañada mi sopa. Había una variedad de papel marrón o blanco. Café y pastel seguido. Tuve el toque de jarabe de arce y pecan con mi marido optando por un trozo de tarta de chocolate fudge. Ambos eran agradable aunque obviamente granel hizo.

I went to the cafe on a Sunday morning at about 10:45 - 45 minutes after opening. There was no queue at the till point and my order was taken quickly. There was a slight delay at the drinks counter, possibly due to the colleague serving the drinks being new.The big breakfast butty arrived within 10 minutes and was excellent. However, the cappuccino was a disappointment. I think there is a training opportunity being missed here. Cafes invest thousands of pounds on coffee machines, but then don't put the time into training. My cappuccino was best described as warm milk on a couple of shots of coffee - the milk hadn't been frothed properly and it had little flavour of coffee..The cafe itself is light, clean and airy and is on the ground floor. There are facilities for the disabled close by.

Been here several times service is bad not what you would expect from Sainsbury's hardly enough sandwiches choice and how many times I've been shopping then went to cafe chose something from menu board and they haven't got item left this is usually at lunch time! Service is bad also so slow you can have your drink straight away and then wait 30 mins for something to be cooked complained a few times on deaf ears. This restaurant used to be packed full all day everyday now it's been changed service is terrible and food has gone down aswell .

Heard good things about Sainsburys café and I wasn't disappointed, I had the fish and chips it arrived nice and hot and was very tasty.

Firstly, I hadn't thought about reviewing Sainburys Cafe before... Don't know why. I've visited three times within a six week period and had different experiences each time. My dad loves it there. Why? Because he can get fish and chips and recently he tried the fish finger butty. The fish finger butty for him was a one off. Now he's tried it he doesn't want another one as the bread was really thick. Now I know fish finger butties are a personal thing, so that is a matter of choice, but he's really happy with the fish and chips and he prefers there than the chippy.I am a caterers nightmare, as I am vegan. I shouldn't be a nightmare, but there is a very limited choice for vegans. A lot of the food advertised as vegetarian does contain dairy. On one of my trips to Sainsburys cafe we worked our way through the menu and realised there was nothing vegan. The mashed potato contained butter, lasagne and tarts etc contained cheese and even the veggie sausages contained dairy, Anyway, on request twice the staff immediately got me Linda McCartnerys sausages from the store as they were vegan - no quibble. The last time I specifically asked for LMc sausages I got the response that they couldn't get them for me as they were not standard. So I asked them to check what vegan food they could offer me... Many labels later, they relented and said the kitchen manager would allow me LMc sausages as they had nothing suitable for vegans. They could have saved themselves 10 minutes! Anyway, I'm happy they allowed me my vegan sausages but it would be much easier if they put vegan LMc on the menu rather than 'veggie' sausages containing dairy products, I wonder what my experience will be next time?

Me and my partner come here at least a couple of times a month with the children. The food is always very nice and not expensive. The one down side I would say is on occasions there is a long wait to receive your food. Also a lot of people who are sitting on there own take up a whole booth so there is not much seating for families.

I come here at least once a week with a ten year old who enjoys her sausage and chips . I have tried a couple of meals here on occasion and always wonder why I have bothered . Partner and I gave it another go tonight to save making a meal . My ' new ' fish finger sandwich ,chips and tartare sauce looked lovely on the billboard advertising it . I enquired which fish was in the finger and they thought it might be cod so I gave it a go . It was quite frankly horrible . There were some very hard bits of fish , the lettuce on which it was sandwiched was soggy / slimy and even the bread didn't pass muster . Partners chicken and ham pie looked quite impressive but his comment was ' it filled a hole ' and he said he wouldn't eat there again . It's a shame because the staff are lovely ,always so pleasant and helpful and the surroundings are nice and bright and clean .

Fine to have a coffee or a quick snack whilst shopping. Staff are pleasant, but there have been several mistakes when my granddaughter's had tea there.

Always a good place to eat and we often stop here. Can get quite busy at times although this shows its popularity. The foods good the service is good and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. Can't fault it. Nice, clean and light too.

I visited recently before I started a bit of shopping I ordered pulled pork baguette with chips and coleslaw and wow was lovely also staff are polite and everywhere clean and tidy

Las Sunday we visited Sainsbury's Cafe in Rhyl and althogh we have had toast, or toated teacakes and drinks on many occasions as we live locally, we had a Big Breakfast and it was good, weil cooked nicely presented and brought to our table by friendly staff.Even though it was busy, the wait time wasn't excessive as all meals are cooked to order.We have had their Fish and Chips too on other visits and this is also good quality.Not the cheapest meals, but very good quality. Worth trying!

i had fish and chips mushy peas and tartare sauce , when waiting for my lunch other people where being serverd and fish looked big on there plates , but mine is quite small in size and mushy peas where not nice , peas had little taste , fish a little taste ,but pictures are café said was selected with fresh batter , but was just out of packet of fish from the supermarket ,I know this because I may fish from supermarkets , so I was little dispointed with this ,I know wished I continue my bus trap to town and used a fish and chips instead.

Quick coffee and cake after weekly shop,very clean Cappuccino was good quality,nice comfortable seats,free newspapers.Staff polite and helpful

Food very good and the service is friendly (but obviously rehearsed) and they ask if they can take the sauces back from the table 2 minutes into the meal. About 5 people came to ask if our meals were ok too so bit disorganised but it was a busy time. Veg lasagne was delicious and so were the chips. Nice stop after a long shopping trip.

So we spend a while shopping, we did not have any lunch so we decided to give this place a go. So I ordered a Tikka Masala.. The tikka was ok. but ready made.. then my Friend had some coffee and the Milk was of. I will not come here again you have lost a customer...

I have visited the cafe quite a few times and have always enjoyed the food from having sandwiches a fresh salad to having a cooked meal. the staff are pleasant and helpful.it is a bright cafe and great for a quick chat either before or after your shop. there is an area to put your trolley while you are there. overall good cafe.

Popped in here while going to Rhyl, food was absolutely terrible. Had ham, egg and chips of which both the eggs and the chips were overcooked. The person I was with had a ham salad roll which had no butter on it and there was no flavour plus the roll was hard. Also they had no cold drinks only bottled water or lucozade, the only good thing out of it was the nice cup of hot chocolate.

& what a shame it's not the same as it used to be ..yes you can get meals but now at a much dearer price ..shame

You know it's good when staff are eating there considering they have got there own canteen.always consistent

We stopped here as kfc was out of stock of most things and our children were really hungry.The service was good and the food was fresh and hot.We had fish and chips and chicken nugget meal for child.Real good value and not one out of stock in sight.

Lunch at the new 'superstore' today - 2 hot meals odrered and they arrived individually and so none had finished their hot meal totally before the other hasd arrived.I had gone out to havbe lunch WITH someone - not to eat alone - I could have done that at home.Apology of sorts form a more mature memenr of staff but the young girl at the till who insisted I 'pick up soup forom the counter' and it couldn't be delivered to my table with my meal needs a little training in her job. Superstore? Until you get your staff trained it will never be super.

This is just another typical bog standard Sainsburys greasy spoon café,uninspiring food & typical supermarket fayre.Nothing remarkable as you would come to expect from this establishment.Pity they don't take a reality check & take a trip over to the continent to see how it should be done with decent food & proper drink.As good as it gets..

This café is pretty much your standard supermarket eatery. Meals are cheap and the portion sizes generous, staff are friendly but the menu is fairly limited. The café itself is clean and tidy, but seats can be a little uncomfortable. No major complaints at all really.

This is a nice venue to grab a snack or meal. The staff are helpful and cheerful. Food is good too. They do get very busy so occasionally the tables get a bit backed up but generally very good

Never again we waited 45 minutes for a cooked breakfast and got a pile of rubbish on my plate and the other plate of food was still not ready, we were reinbursed for the food but not the drinks we had to buy while we were made to wait for so long. Complained to customer services, and never heard from them again.

I often eat here before I go round sainsburys for my shopping, I must say the food is delicious I had a sausage bap this morning (01/04/13) and my partner had the English breakfast, I must admit that it was so nice that I wanted yo get another (I didn't though) what a lovely way to start the day and the staff are friendly and I also like how they put newspapers up to read for people eating in the cafe, lovely food can't wait to go again !!
