Whilst I usually promote Deli-Licious as a good place to go if you have a Gluten Free (GF) diet, I was recently disappointed by their GF afternoon tea. I was pleased to hear they offered a GF afternoon tea but was left feeling let down by the poor selection and presentation. The normal afternoon tea was presented on either a picnic bench or a three tiered serving stand, mine was just put on a plate with no effort to make it look like everyone else’s in the group, making me feel like an outcast. At a cost of £16.95, it certainly wasn’t value for money.
We’ve visited nearby Llangorse for the last 5 years and always come for a meal at this pub. Very friendly welcoming landlord and good food reasonably priced. The real ale is excellent too! Highly recommended.
Eleven of us went to the Tanners Arms for New Years Day . The service was excellent and food really good quality and great value. Very dog friendly- our two dogs were spoilt rotten !
Excellent venue , with easy access off main road to ample parking. Great welcome and customer service throughout from Beca. Menu was very impressive with plenty of choice and catered for intolerances . Good choice of droughts beers and lagers . Facilities very clean and cared for . Will definitely visit again and highly recommended. Thank you to the Coaching Inn team 👌
Another wonderful meal & evening at the Buck, lovely fresh food, service amazing, nothing too much trouble and lots of different gins to accompany our meal. Would highly recommend to couples, families or anyone who wants high quality food and drink at a fair price!
Absolutely brilliant, no complaints at all will definitely go again. Service good, nice and clean .I had the rheidol breakfast again the wife had a bacon mushroom and cheese roll and chips excellent
We ordered a take away at 6.30pm and received it at 10pm. We had just arrived a holiday cottage. (Tesco had cancelled our food delivery at 6pm!!). We little other choice, everywhere was closed in the area. We had children including young toddlers with no food. (Snacks had run out during long journey!!) It was horrendous.
We called to say that level of service was unacceptable. Why offer delivery and expect 3.5 hours to be a reasonable time to wait. They asked why we waited and not just cancelled and shouted at me down the phone. They had already taken our money and we literally had no other option but to wait. Completely spoiled our rare weekend away as a family.
We stayed at the hotel for several days. Originally we were going to sample the local restaurants, but having eaten in on our first night, we decide otherwise. Thoroughly recommended!
Very sweet and welcoming cafe. My young (and crazy!) family plus dog were treated very kindly, from offers to cook extra when our 2 year old changed his mind to a handmade sticker for our 7 year old. Food was cooked quickly and just what we needed for a lunch stop. Very reasonable prices.
Lovely accommodation and rooms, but beware that there is no WiFi in this place if this concerns you.
I would have loved to dine in the pub as the food was lovely if it wasn’t the unfortunate case of having it ‘permanently closed’.
Not the sort of place I would stay in compared to last time. <:(
This was a referal as good Portuguese food.
Food not good
Owner friendly
I would not class this as Portuguese
I spoke to him regarding the menu and remarked that we love the food in the Ty Madeira Cardiff he said he knew the owner but the food was nothing like the restaurants we have been to.
