We popped in yesterday for coffee after all the restrictions they are still only doing takeaway at the moment but don't let this deter you! There is a warm welcome waiting for you and the coffees are just as good as they always have been. Looking for hidden gems in Wales? Then this place is just right for you. Called today as when we were passing saw two ladies getting drinks As we had eaten here most days 2 years ago and had such goof service I was shocked to be told by the owner pointing at a sign We’re closed Well there are plenty of other local businesses that need the custom after lockdown The ladies who were still drinking their drinks were also quite shocked

This friendly cafe is still open to locals & tourists. Service is now takeaway only but are offering a good range of teas, coffees, cakes and sandwiches.

This place is perfectly located after a brisk coastal walk. The blueberry burst cake is simply the best cake I’ve ever tried. Scrumptious

Have stopped here on a number of occasions in the past but most recently received a warm welcome whilst passing through to watch local wildlife. Coffe/tea and cake were the order of the day. My wife tells me the carrot cake was very nice. My daughter had similar views in regard her chocolate cake. Yes was very good, the coffee easily the best I've had in the area. This is an unassuming, no airs and graces little cafe serving good grub at very reasonable prices. Our two teas, one coffee, two cakes and an ice cream cost less than £8. Two teas and a coffee in a similar establishment in a nearby town cost more than £8! Nice to see some places are not intent on ripping off tourists.

We visited Cwm Tydu for lunch fabulous food and glorious coffee. Our dog loved to swim in the river.Every time I've been its been the same.

We popped in to have a quick bite to eat whilst having a look around. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent!! A hidden gem!!

We come every year to New Quay with the family and absolutely love coming to this cafe. Home made food and love the scones!!

This warm and cosy café near the beach is a perfect spot to have a bite to eat before setting off along the coastal path to Llangrannog. There are a range of coffees and tasty cakes to choose from. The staff are very friendly and happy to help! There is room to air outside and parking is close by. You pay by using the honesty box provided.

We were so glad we were told about this idyllic cove. The weather was so sunny that my daughter swam in the sea with the local dogs! We had a wonderful lunch. My husband said he had the best baked spud ever. Really worth a visit.

Always a welcome stop for a cuppa and a chat. Owners and staff are so welcoming and always time for a chat. Great food, great ice cream, not sure the rum and raisin is suitable for the designated driver though .

We could not fault the owners they were brilliant and what ever you wanted for breakfast they would provide and plenty of it The food throughout the day was also very excellent and plenty of it again we all had an amazing time and can’t thank them enough

Dropped in for a bit of lunch and my wife ordered a bowl of leek and potato soup and I ordered a bowl of Lamb Cawl. Feeling a bit hungry I also ordered a ham and cheese panini. The owners who cook everything fresh must be used to feeding the Welsh Rugby team as we were both served a very large bowl of excellent soup and stew, good sized roll with lots of butter, followed by a salad and a panini twice the size I usually expect to see! I couldn’t do it justice after the wonderful stew (you just have to try it!) so they wrapped the panini up and put the salad in a container to take away. Lovely couple and fantastic food. (I can’t seem to be able to rate the section on Service, food and value but I give 5 star on all)

This place is an absolute gem in a really beautiful, quiet area. We were walking the coastal path when we stumbled across it and it offered a brilliant rest for tired legs. Fantastic home made food in a gorgeous cafe that felt really homely, with exemplary service. This is one of those places I will really look forward to returning to in years to come, a very memorable visit.

Cada vez que visita la playa tanto para Cwmtydu o el paseo camino de la costa, tenemos que llamar para un café, precioso para sentarse en el patio exterior en la paz y tranquilidad. Buena selección de aperitivos y pasteles, aparcamiento absolutamente preciosa también se encuentra en el aparcamiento gratuito frente al mar que pone muy concurrido o hay aparcamiento con un cuadro de honestidad frente al restaurante. Puede y no muy concurrido con los visitantes ya que es una gran parada en el paseo de su chaqueta. Personal encantador, amable, patio perros, bien merece una visita. Hice un montón de fotos de la zona, le llevará a la pc em listo para añadir a los comentarios pero. No puedo encontrar ellos. y limpiado mi teléfono, reconstruida como había algunos golpes fabulosos. realizaremos Ten en cuenta que las carreteras son muy estrechas y por hacer llegar muy, muy concurrido.

Delicious home baked cakes & an excellent selection of freshly made sandwiches.- all very reasonably priced. Very welcoming. A short walk from the beach at Cwmtydu. Try the chocolate & orange cake!

We visited here for coffee and soon returned several times for lunch. It is a super cafe with excellent friendly service. The food was lovely and the cakes yummy. An excellent place, oh and as a fussy coffee drinker; your latte was 10/10 :-)

We called in after a lovely circular walk which started on the beach at Cwmtudu, nice indoor and outdoor seating with parking both on the beach front and outside the cafe..although charge of one pound a day here but free at the beach a short...

Me alegro encontramos este pequeño café tras millas de caminar a lo largo de la ruta de la costa.estupendo té. Sábado fuera el clima era agradable, . cwmtudu su acogedor ambiente junto al mar para una taza de té

We found this Café almost by accident and I must say a nice accident we only had a cream tea...

Comimos aquí mientras los huéspedes del B&B.; Los desayunos cocidos eran absolutamente delicioso. Tenían comidas en paquete desde allí y quedé muy impresionado. Té de la tarde era absolutamente deliciosa. Es una pena que no abren el café de la tarde. Una visita obligada al pop en si en la zona.

We ate at this cafe twice during our stay in New Quay. It would have been more but as it was October the owners were winding down and were only opening Mon/Tue/Wed during the week we were staying. The bacon and sausage bagettes were beautiful, so tasty. The home baked cakes were also delicious. They also do gluten free cakes. This cafe is highly recommended. The husband & wife team that run the cafe are very friendly and helpful. Will certainly return when I am in the area again.

We have had more than one good lunch in this cafe in the lower part of a bed and breakfast. About 200m from the sea, it is very small with only three tables indoors, but a larger terrace for sunnier days and a view of the unspoilt valley side opposite. Run by retired chefs, the food is simple, but very good. My favourite is the fish pie. But also try some of the home baking for a real treat.
