Very sweet and welcoming cafe. My young (and crazy!) family plus dog were treated very kindly, from offers to cook extra when our 2 year old changed his mind to a handmade sticker for our 7 year old. Food was cooked quickly and just what we needed for a lunch stop. Very reasonable prices.

We stayed in the village in May and visited Gegin Fach for breakfast a couple of times. It was absolutely fabulous! I had the full English breakfast both times and it was delicious. The staff and locals couldn't have been more friendly. Would highly recommend.

This is a great little venue which doubles as the local post office. We arrived just after the lunchtime rush with dog in tow and were made to feel welcome straight away. Great selection of teas, coffees, drinks and lunches/cakes. The owner took time to make a fuss of our daughter (and dog) and you could tell it had a community vibe about the place. Hope to return again!

We had the pleasure of eating lunch in this cosy village cafe today. Rhiann the owner was so welcoming that we felt we had known her for years by the time we left. We had the vegan option which was real value for money too. We will definitely be regular visitors to this homely Welsh cafe.

It's a cafe in a small village. We had visited the waterfall and the cafe next to it was small. This was the next closest. Even in December it was almost full at lunchtime. The staff were serving food and running a post office at the same time. Standard cafe food but the jacket potato with chilli was really good.

We couldn’t fault our breakfast ! Staff were so friendly and helpful, even provided me with a ‘slimming’ option while my husband had a huge breakfast! Lovely traditional and cosy welsh cafe.

This place is a must visit if you are walking or cycling. It is superb value for money with hot drinks at £1.20 you can afford to take your family there. Jacket potatoes with cheesy beans was £4.50. Great place to get some of the real Welsh culture.

I went along with my boyfriend to his dentist appointment and decided to wait in the car. It was early morning and I was peckish. I sat in the car for ages looking at this cafe thinking "wonder if they do anything nice for breakfast". Upon looking online, I saw a review about bacon baps to take out... so I pottered in & asked the lady... they were ready in minutes... honestly.... it was the best bacon bap EVER!! Cooked to perfection, nice thick chunky bacon and a tasty bap. Lovely lovely lady. MUST have!!!

5 Star food and service from this friendly little cafe! Breakfast is my favourite meal here and a sausage bap to take away is great on the days I don't have time to linger.

We had visited the nearby falls & saw this place by chance. Lucky us. It was the best breakfast ever. We had 2 full breakfasts & 2 two full vegetarian breakfasts with tea & toasts. All 4 meals were prepared swiftly & they were gorgeous. The ladies were friendly & fine with us taking our puppy in.

Stopped for a cuppa and decided to have a late breakfast. Excellent quality bacon sausage and black pudding. Beautifully cooked egg and fantastic value for money. Will make a point of stopping and recommending to friends

Strange little cafe in a beautiful village, old fashioned decor, offering coffee and snacks or microwaved hot meals. For the standard of offering we thought it was very pricey indeed - although I suppose it's a bit of a tourist trap.

Charming location but poor food offerings, visited for a coffee and a cake one morning - all perfectly fine, returned to dine in the evening (we were the only people in there) and it was little more than reheated ready meals with frozen chips - we found the staff member to be overly pushy, she wouldn't leave to us to eat our meal in peace.

Myself and some friends had lunch here on two consecutive days while on an off road motorcycle weekend. Food here was excellent, as was the barra brith, and all of the staff were particularly fiendly, nothing was too much trouble. I will defininitely return next time I am in the area.

Visited this establishment for morning coffee and a bite to eat and wasn't disappointed. Being strangers to the area we had such a lovely welcome from the staff and also from local patrons. Would definitely recommend to anyone, I'm sure you would receive the same welcome as we did - it was lovely!

This Welsh cafe is delightful. All the food is freshly cooked and uses local ingredients.Portions are hearty and the service very friendly. I use it frequently, both eat in and take away. My favourite has to be the Sunday lunch - a choice of 2 meats and loads of fresh vegetables. Highly recommend!

We went here on a monday night, the pubs weren't doing food so gave this a go. Phoned to make reservation, said we'd arrive about quarter past eight which the lady was fine with, only later we discovered they were actually meant to close at 8!

Passing through on a biking challenge over the weekend we found this cosy authentic welsh pub. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the beer selection was perfect and they couldn’t do more for us! Would definitely return if in the area again!

Whilst I usually promote Deli-Licious as a good place to go if you have a Gluten Free (GF) diet, I was recently disappointed by their GF afternoon tea. I was pleased to hear they offered a GF afternoon tea but was left feeling let down by the poor selection and presentation. The normal afternoon tea was presented on either a picnic bench or a three tiered serving stand, mine was just put on a plate with no effort to make it look like everyone else’s in the group, making me feel like an outcast. At a cost of £16.95, it certainly wasn’t value for money.

Found this cafe on line, glad we did, the guys were so welcoming, even the dog was welcomed in. We both had the big cooked breakfast, wow, it’s not very often I actually enjoy a cooked breakfast but this was amazing, really good quality ingredients cooked perfectly. We’d happily go back.

Stopped by here for a bite to eat and a coffee during a circular walk to the north of Llanidloes. What a lovely little find. We had jacket potatoes, chocolate cake and mince pies alongside a coffee. Delicious food and the cake is exceptional.
