The Welsh Lady serving was amazing and cooked up a great Breakfast for us two Soldiers on a visit back to Wales. She was ace and must be commended!!! We got there early but she already had
so many people to cook for. Breakfast was amazing and 10/10.Thanks and will recommend to England as a place to go!!!,
I had to laugh when I read some of the reviews complaining about everything here being vegetarian/vegan and gluten free - that makes a change! Normally those who need such diets have at most two choices and more often than not the gluten free choice is a cake - i.e. not a choice at all. Well not here and thank goodness for it. Everything is suitable for everyone - yes, everyone can eat vegan and veggie food. For me this is more inclusive and by definition better for everyone.
Now my rant is over on to the food itself. Tasty, wholesome, excellent value and organic - what could be better than that - for both our bodies and the planet. Service too is good with plenty of smiles and the price is not bad either. As for the location well, you're here to learn about the planet and the impact we have on it and how we can help, and eating food like this is part of that. Say no more.
I called here today on my journey from Speke to Cardiiff having been three weeks ago and enjoyed ham egg and chips (iIseem to recall they swopped baked beans for me instead of peas the eggs were requested to be cooked hard and they were done exactly as I like them.
This time I had home made leek and potato soup folled by homemade steak and ale pie with jug of gravy and chips - absolutely superb, Will definately be calling here whever i pass,
Beautiful hidden gem, that has the character of the Cafe in ‘ Last of the Summer Wine’!!
A very well presented hot breakfast served with a hot tea and coffee.
All the lads enjoyed and the host was exceptionally kind!!
Thank you💙👍🏻
Amazing shop and cafe!
Lots of very interesting items inside. The staff are lovely and happy to help you find your own unique treasure!
The food is great as well! 😋
Four of us went for Sunday lunch.
Food was fantastic.
I had the beef which was lovely and tender, piping hot and plenty of veg. Cauliflower cheese, my favourite was lovely.
Good selection of puddings.
All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal
We were staying at Eithinog Hall and the owners recommended The Goat Hotel for dinner. We were delighted and had a thoroughly lovely meal, we had a lovely chat with the staff, and so enjoyed our evening, we returned for a second helping the following night. A great choice of both food and beverages.
A lovely village with lots of history to explore afterwards to walk off your excesses!
Was staying in the area and needed a takeout, saw a leaflet for this one and went for it! Food was amazing, generous portions, fresh tasting ingredients and the value for money was great, not to mention it was ready within half an hour of ordering!! Would definitely recommend
