The Trewythen in Powys

Lovely food, staff were attentive without crowding us. The oriental mushroom soup was very good.

Fantastic experience. We booked a room and had dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely, spacious and very well turned out. Dinner was superb and a real dining experience. There were some very novel and exciting dishes available, along with the more traditional, so something for everyone. Flavours were first class, as was presentation. Top marks for the chef. There was a good range of breakfast available but we opted for the full Welsh. It was cooked/seasoned to perfection and a great start to the day. Staff were great. Warm and welcoming. Exactly what you can expect from the Welsh, but seems to be typical of Llanidloes, which is a lovely town. Overall a great stay so many thanks to all.

Superb dinner here. Will definitely return. The Welsh red wine was a surprise and delightful.
