Eleven of us went to the Tanners Arms for New Years Day . The service was excellent and food really good quality and great value. Very dog friendly- our two dogs were spoilt rotten !
We ordered a take away at 6.30pm and received it at 10pm. We had just arrived a holiday cottage. (Tesco had cancelled our food delivery at 6pm!!). We little other choice, everywhere was closed in the area. We had children including young toddlers with no food. (Snacks had run out during long journey!!) It was horrendous.
We called to say that level of service was unacceptable. Why offer delivery and expect 3.5 hours to be a reasonable time to wait. They asked why we waited and not just cancelled and shouted at me down the phone. They had already taken our money and we literally had no other option but to wait. Completely spoiled our rare weekend away as a family.
We stayed at the hotel for several days. Originally we were going to sample the local restaurants, but having eaten in on our first night, we decide otherwise. Thoroughly recommended!
Very sweet and welcoming cafe. My young (and crazy!) family plus dog were treated very kindly, from offers to cook extra when our 2 year old changed his mind to a handmade sticker for our 7 year old. Food was cooked quickly and just what we needed for a lunch stop. Very reasonable prices.
very recently changed hands , new management , wide range of sandwich's...salads..Belly of Pork Gamon Egg and Chips , Chicken Curry ..Rump Steak..Ham Egg and Chips , and that was just Monday ...superb setting sit inside or out ….my chips were double fried just superb , not expensive ...
Visited as a family of 9. This place is amazing! Excellent quality food, huge portions, and very reasonably priced. Lesley was so welcoming. We were so impressed with our first visit that we went back twice more. I had the mixed grill, which was truly delicious. I live over 200 miles away and am considering driving back for another mixed grill! My mum is a bit of a fussy eater, but she cleared her plate, I've never seen her eat so much! The Sunday roast was fabulous, with a great variety of meat and vegetables.
Lovely little find. A delightful tea room with a great selection of cakes, tea & coffee. We had homemade welsh cakes (which were warmed up for us) and a Lemon & Earl Grey cake, all of which were gorgeous. A very friendly welcome from the gentleman serving us and he even took the time to show us and tell us about local attractions. I would definitely recommend this tea room to anyone in Llandrindod Wells.
Found this place on the way home. We needed a gluten free takeaway but found not only GF pizza but GF garlic bread too. Great service and food. Plenty of choice and it's all cooked in front of you. Seemed popular and lively. Better than any Dominos!
A nice range of good value food well prepared and presented by friendly staff who were proactively helpful to customers. Menu included breakfast before 11:30 as well as sandwiches, toasties, paninis, jacket potatoes, soup and specials on offer. Am hoping to go back soon.
Lovely bistro in centre of town.

The portions were just right and the food was very tasty.
