The owners obviously love Greece and all things Greek. Their menu is quite small but there are authentic, tasty items available.

Went there for the first time today. Omd's, the food is lush! It's a little bit of Greece in a little Welsh town.

Oti Kalo is new to Brecon and brings a new and exciting cuisine. The food is tasty plentiful and reasonably priced. We have visited often and are working our way through the menu. The owners and staff are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend a visit .

We'd been out walking all day and popped into Brecon to find somewhere to eat. We were struggling but stumbled on Oti Kalo. Friendly atmosphere and really great genuine greek cuisine. And the greek cakes & treats are to die for. They haven't been open long but we wish them all the success and on our next visit to Brecon Beacons we'll definitely be returning to the obi Kalo

I was in seventh heaven when I found Brecon now has a lovely Greek cafe and takeaway. South Wales and Crete are regular places I escape to - Brecon is where my family are from - and this venture represents a delicious merger of the two special places (well, in my mind anyway). Oti Kalo is a simple, stylish very cafe with pretty tables out front on a quiet pedestrian street. I think they originally planned the place as a takeaway but added in a few tables and things grew from there - they have extra tables on the floor above in a space that is hired out for private groups. The food is superb - proper gyros bread, imported from Greece, wrapping zingy tzaziki, a bit of fresh herby salad, oregano chips and a choice of fillings - I had pork souvlaki (they also do chicken and beef) and courgette fritters on my second visit (again there are also other veggie options); you can extras too, like halloumi. The courgette fritter was quite superb and perfectly balanced with all the other flavours, and the pork was delicious too. They do full Welsh breakfast and Greek burgers too. As of late June 2019, they are open for a trial period, closing in July for about a month and re-opening around the time of the August Brecon Jazz Festival 2019. Lovely friendly staff and such good value too! 6 stars!

Mother’s Day lunch … I can honestly say that was the best roast beef dinner I’ve had …. Vegetables cooked to perfection and a Yorkie like a hotair balloon 🎈 desert was also delicious! The staff were excellent and attentive, not overpriced for our 2 course meal and will definitely be returning x Thankyou … what a lovely place, lovely food and lovely staff 😃

Working in town I popped in to grab some lunch it’s been a while since I’ve been here. Ordered a Brie apple and celery roll…. Wowser it was quite honestly one of the nicest rolls I’ve ever eaten, soft fresh roll, slices of crisp sweet apple lay on chopped celery and plenty of Brie slices. I can’t recommend this place enough 5 stars are not enough for what I had there today….thank you to the lovely lady who served me (I think it may have been the owner) In the old Arnie quote” I’ll be back!”

Got a takeaway from here. The food was exceptional. I had a pint of Cobra while we waited and my husband, Arnold Aardvark tried the Cobra IPA. He thought that tasted a little odd. Definitely can't fault the food though! I had a lamb dhansak with lemon rice, Arnold had lamb jafrezi, and the kids stuck to their usual lamb tikka and chicken kurma. Happy folks all round.
