Birthday celebration absolutely brilliant very accommodating for my disabled father food freshly cooked and plenty of it . A friendly family run business and a chilled atmosphere nothing was too much trouble ❤️❤️❤️ thanku guys so much lived it

Meal was first class can honestly say one if the nicest steaks I have ever had was cooked to perfection would highly recommend to anyone wanted to try the crown and the 2 boys working there they service and politeness were excellent can't fault it

Our little slice of heaven! I would follow this team to the end of the world if it meant we got to enjoy their cooking again. The food is tasty and we have sampled the mixed grill, the chicken, burgers most desserts. The drinks range is a visual joy anything that tickles your fancy they have. The owners are so friendly and easy going could be any more accommodating to their customers. We will returning regularly! Sorry your stuck with us now ..lol

Friendly atmosphere, freshly prepared delicious food at amazing prices. Garlic mushrooms are superb, steaks really tender and Cheesecakes are to die for.

Saturday evening meal for 6 and food was great, no complaints and good atmosphere. Good value for money

Me and my partner decided to give this place a try seeing as it's on our doorstep. Visited on a Saturday night and there was only 2 other tables in. Starters were bland and obviously frozen and warmed up. Waited over an hour for our mains. Burger was dry, not dressed. Zero flavour! Chips were double fried and tough. £13 for a pitiful burger and old chips! Had to ask for some leaves to put in it myself to make it edible. Partner had chicken which turned out to be half a jar of honey poured over a dry breast. We ended up leaving most of it and heading home. A big shame really as it could be a really nice place to visit in the heart of the village. Hopefully it'll improve soon

great food from lesley and areon originally from the prices arms. they have made this place exceptional. the food they serve is first class and with pride. they are so welcoming. the sunday dinner is to die for. dont just take our word for it try it. myself and my family will guarantee it. please support this hard working couple.

Went on the off chance for food. Great decision. A warm welcome as soon as we walked in. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the food and were not dissappointed. Service excellent. Will be back soon.

Visited here for the first time today. Lovely warm welcome. The restaurant is clean, fresh and modern. Service was excellent and professional. The Sunday lunch was outstanding! Best we’ve had in a long time. Food was served piping hot (which I love) and a generous amount. Fresh vegetables & banging gravy!! DELICIOUS!!

Food was nice other than dry turkey but to wait a hour for 3 roast dinners on mother's day when there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant one of which had already ordered was a bit of a shock will not return due to slow staff seemed understaffed in the kitchen

We came here on 19th October as an early birthday meal. There is a bit of a wait for food as its all freshly prepared and cooked to order but it is worth the wait. I had the peppered pork steak with sautéed potatoes. The peppercorn sauce that comes with it is mild and very tasty. Deserts sounded wonderful but I honestly couldn't have eaten another bite which is a shame

Lovely get together with friends. The cajun chicken meal was delicious and would definately eat here again. Live singer in the garden at 6 om which added to a fab afternoon/evening.

Food was nice but if honest we wouldn’t go there again. Between ordering food and it arriving it was an hour and 5 minutes. The food was quite nice, but they didn’t have straws for children, and when we ordered deserts for us and kids it said chessecakes, deserts come with ice-cream/cream etc. We were then informed after ordering that they had no ice cream so the 5 children missed out, and the adults also decided not to have. We went to a different restersunt for desert, shocking really. They missed out on £34 because they didn’t have ice cream. There were only 11 people in the resteraunt, we were 9 with two other women, surley with a shop one mile away they could have gone to get ice cream. Very dissapointed, definatley won’t go there again.

Booked in advance here. Number to secure booking a bit difficult to locate so did via messenger which wasnt responded to straight away but not an issue as time allowed. We were a party initially of 11 but whittled down to 8 in the end, no complaints made be the staff. We were on 2 separated tables which wasnt ideal but understandable with regs. I had cajun chicken which was very good and a hefty serving. Other orders consisted of cod n chips, chicken tagliatelle, peppered pork with pepper sauce and surf n turf. Every one enjoyed their meals. The mint aero cheesecake shared finished dinner off nicely. Reasonably priced.
