I visit this pub for lunch on Saturdays every couple of weeks or so with a friend during spring, summer and autumn. Last year the service seemed very ad hoc and it appeared staff were coming and going. However, the last few times we have visited this year we have noticed a great improvement in service and standards. Food is served quickly and plates cleared away when empty, members of staff are attentive and pleasant and nothing seems too much trouble. There is a female member of staff (don't know her name) who is particularly good and to whom we attribute this improvement so well done whoever you are! Food is always plentiful and well presented and I recommend the steak pie, yummy!

We often call in for lunch. Very good value for money and good quality food. Large car park just one minute walk away.

This was just the pest pub lunch that my wife and I had had for ages. The service was a bit slow but when the food came it was surprisingly good quality and the portions were generous too and considering the price amazing value for money. The beer was okay too.

Found this cafe on line, glad we did, the guys were so welcoming, even the dog was welcomed in. We both had the big cooked breakfast, wow, it’s not very often I actually enjoy a cooked breakfast but this was amazing, really good quality ingredients cooked perfectly. We’d happily go back.

Passing through on a biking challenge over the weekend we found this cosy authentic welsh pub. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the beer selection was perfect and they couldn’t do more for us! Would definitely return if in the area again!

Whilst I usually promote Deli-Licious as a good place to go if you have a Gluten Free (GF) diet, I was recently disappointed by their GF afternoon tea. I was pleased to hear they offered a GF afternoon tea but was left feeling let down by the poor selection and presentation. The normal afternoon tea was presented on either a picnic bench or a three tiered serving stand, mine was just put on a plate with no effort to make it look like everyone else’s in the group, making me feel like an outcast. At a cost of £16.95, it certainly wasn’t value for money.

The best breakfast for a Good 15 miles, honestly cannot fault it. Cooked to order every time and super tasty. No dried up bacon or tinned mushrooms here thanks!
