We were looking for a good beer whilst in llandidloes and tried the Stag Inn. Modern take on a traditional pub where you can take your own takeaway in to enjoy. The beer was good 2 offerings from Three Tuns a great brewery and 1 from Purple Moose. Friendly welcome based on the one visit recommended!

Really lovely little pub.......the bar lass (Kelly I think) is super friendly, came in with our golden retriever and he was fussed and given a lovely dog biscuit! Nice ales and fantastic ciders all on pull, relaxed atmosphere, chilled out and just a friendly pub to enjoy the evening in!

Real ale pub with welcoming staff. Lovely atmosphere and dogs allowed. Does not serve food but you can bring in a takeaway to eat with your pint.

Recently refurbed and reopened. The Stag will always be my favourite pub in Llani. Impressive selection of Gins and other spirits. Draft lager is all I drink, but love the Pardal. Also a good selection of ales. Well worth a visit..

Fun local pub that has good entertainment and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I left my coat there and returned a week later to find it still safely there, amazing!

Spent a day and night visiting Llanidloes...just thought we drop in The Stag for a 'quickie'. The staff were great, the locals were great and very welcoming and the beer was great!!..well we walked in and staggered out!!.... This dog friendly town pub is just a really nice friendly place, made to feel at home straight away and what a pint of 'Bishops Finger'......will be heading back there soon....Thanks for a great afternoon/evening..

Very friendly staff, good pub food and a great pint, called in possibly a bit late for lunch but the staff nipped out to the local butchers to get the supplies and had no qualms about serving later. Dog friendly

This dog and family friendly pub earns a star for providing tasty cheap meals. The staff are always thoughtful, welcoming and attentive. Gaynor or Tom will take the time to talk to you if they're not too busy, and one of the younger bar ladies was thoughtful enough to provide colouring books and crayons for Dr Foodpriests granddaughter at a recent visit. A pot of tea with refill is only £1 and newspapers are always available. Vibrant and happy pub with comfortable seating..

This place is wonderfully quirky. Top marks for that. Sadly that's where the good part of our experience ended. Freezing cold and the service was diabolical. Over 20 minutes waiting for four drinks. The place wasn't particularly busy. No apologies for the wait when the drinks turned up. Just plonked on the table my some surly young lady. Even if the service had of been better, we wouldn't have stayed for more drinks/food as it really was too cold to be sat around. We won't be returning.

What a shop! An amazing range of imaginative decor to choose from for your home complemented by a fantastic range of cakes! Wendy is also one of the most creative minds to ever run a shop. If you're in Builth or passing through you MUST drop by or you'll be missing out!! We bought an Angler Fish lamp we didn't know we needed, but clearly did!!

Stopped by here for a bite to eat and a coffee during a circular walk to the north of Llanidloes. What a lovely little find. We had jacket potatoes, chocolate cake and mince pies alongside a coffee. Delicious food and the cake is exceptional.
